  • 본 연구는 인터넷에서 이용할 수 있는 다양한 종류의 온라인 정보원마다 대학생들이 가지고 있는 인지적 권위가 과제정보 평가에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 선행연구를 기반으로 도출된 변인에 따라, 온라인 학술논문, 온라인 사전, 소셜 Q&A, 온라인 사전에 대해 대학생들이 가지고 있는 각각의 인지적 권위가 과제정보의 정확성, 포괄성, 객관성 평가에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 분석결과, 온라인 사전, 소셜 Q&A, 온라인 사전의 인지적 권위는 과제정보의 정확성, 포괄성, 객관성 평가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 온라인 학술논문의 인지적 권위는 과제정보의 정확성, 포괄성 평가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Influences of Cognitive Authority of Online Information Sources on Information Quality Evaluation (온라인 정보원의 인지적 권위에 대한 인식이 정보의 품질 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • Due to the fact that cognitive authority influences an individual's thoughts so that a given information is perceived as appropriate, people evaluate information based on their cognitive authority. The purpose of the present study is to examine the perception of the cognitive authority of online information sources used by college students to carry out their academic tasks, and to determine whether such perceptions affect the quality assessment of information sources, such as webpages, e-journals, and Wikipedia,. Specifically, we measured how cognitive authority, which were formed by the author, the surface, and the content of an information source influenced its accuracy, usefulness, completeness, and expertise. For this purpose, online surveys were conducted with college students, and 172 valid responses were obtained. Findings indicated that all the characteristics that formed the cognitive authority of an information source had significant impacts on its accuracy, usefulness, completeness, and expertise. The study suggests academic implications that confirm the associations between cognitive authority and credibility of information in the context of online information sources. Furthermore, the study provides practical implications that system developers or operators of information sources need to consider diverse factors that affect their cognitive authority to promote users' trust on the information that they deliver.

A Study on University Students' Intention to Use Video Contents as an Information Source of Serious Leisure Activities (대학생의 진지한 여가 활동 정보원으로서 동영상 콘텐츠 이용 의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims at exploring what kinds of factors affect university students to choose video contents as information sources of serious leisure activities. Among other, It focuses on the effect of information quality and cognitive authority. This study analyzed 209 sets of data collected by conducting an online survey of university students from across the country. The implications and results of this study are as follows: First, among the sub-components of information quality, timeliness, relevance, and accuracy had a positive effect significantly on the intention of video contents use as an serious leisure information source, and among those of cognitive authority, the characteristics of platforms was the most influential one. Second, the multiple regression analysis was used to figure out that, some sub-components of cognitive authority turned out to have a positive effect significantly on the evaluation of information quality. This study has a significant meaning in that it investigated the intention of video content use with the two factors (information quality and cognitive authority), especially at this time when more and more people are enjoying video contents as an serious leisure information source.

  • This study examines the effects of the judgment of information quality and cognitive authority on Web searching behavior. Sixteen scholars from diverse disciplines participated in the experiments, and the data were collected combining search logs, think-aloud during the searches, and post-search interviews in the laboratory setting. The results identified two distinct kinds of judgment, predictive judgment and evaluative judgment. The facets of judgment and criteria used for making Judgments of quality and authority were analyzed associated with the types of task, status of users, and discipline areas of users.

  • This study examines the increasing influence of the private sorter in global media governance, which represents decentralization of international politics resulted from the rapid globalization in the areas of politics, economy and culture. Introducing a concept of the private authority which theoretically explains increasing power of the private sector, including transnational corporations and business associations in global governance, this study discusses how the private sector and its governance activities ran be recognized as legitimate as those of the state. Based on this theoretical discussion, the study examines what the Increasing role and power of the private sector In global media governance imply with regard to democratic accountability.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out what the contribution of medical service design to improve the quality of medical service has contributed to the resolution of medical authority, and to draw the implications necessary to further develop the medical service industry. As a method of research, first, the concept of medical authority was considered and the internal and external factors of medical authority were examined. Second, by examining the cases of medical service design, which resolved the medical emphasis inherent in internal and external factors, the key points and significance of problem solving were analyzed based on the core results. Third, the implications were to form a patient-centered medical culture for respect and dignity for patients, to break up the conventions inside medical staff to dismantle medical authority, and to establish a fair communication system for sharing medical information.

  • 인간은 원시시대부터 집을 짓고 생활하였으며 인류의 발전과 더불어 건축도 발전하였다. 초기의 주택이 추위나 외부의 적으로부터 인간을 보호하는 것이 목적이라면, 근대의 주택은 여기에 권위와 아름다움을 더하였다. 현대에 이르러 주택은 권위를 없애는 대신 쾌적성과 편리성을 추구하면서 사용자에게 다양한 기능을 제공하는 것이 중요시 되고 있다. 이처럼 사용자의 편의를 위한 다양한 첨단 기능이 추가된 건물을 지능형 건물이라 하며, 이를 구현하기 위하여 다양한 첨단 정보통신 기술이 사용된다. 본 논문은 최근 빠른 속도로 확산되는 지능형 빌딩과 이를 구현하기 위한 다양한 정보통신[IT] 기술들에 대하여 살펴보았다. 또한 비교적 최근 건축된 대표적인 지능형 건물에 대하여 살펴보고 향후 지능형 건물에 적용될 정보통신 관련 기술에 대하여 예측하였다.

Brand Authenticity Mediated the Effect of Brand Authority and Ethicality on Purchase and Word-of-mouth Intention (브랜드 권위성과 윤리성이 구매·추천의도에 미치는 영향에 있어서 브랜드 진정성의 매개효과)

  • Prior researches on brand authenticity so far have focused on the scale development for measuring brand authenticity. However, at the point of time it is necessary to consider the utilization of the proposed scale in an integrative approach. Accordingly, this study aims to examine brand authenticity mediated the effect of brand authority and ethicality on purchase and word-of-mouth intention. The survey method was used for this paper, and data from a total of 136 office workers were used for the analysis. And structural equation model was used to analyze the data. The results of this empirical study is summarized as followings. First, brand authority and ethicality do not have a direct effect on purchase and word-of-mouth intention but brand authenticity mediates the effect of brand authority and ethicality. Second, brand authority and ethicality have positive effect on brand authenticity. This study provides information on the purchase and word-of-mouth intention of salary man. Further, it will provide meaning suggestion point of the importance of brand authenticity in establishing the policy of brand management.

  • 엘리베이터 문을 열고 LG히다찌의 회사앞에 들어설 때 제일 먼저 눈에 띄는 것이 있다. "일등을 합시다"라는 표어이다. 다소 권위적으로 보일지도 모를 이표어는 역으로 아직 일등이 아니라는 말을 함축하고 있다고 할수있지만 사무실내에서 열중하고 있는 LG히다찌인들의 표정에는 정상을 향해 나아가가고자하는 굳은 의지를 읽을 수 있다.
