Design and Implementation of Problem Based Learning in Training Ship (PBL(Problem Based Learning) 수업 방법을 활용한 실습선 수업 설계 및 운영)

  • This study suggested a process of redesigning and implementing problem based learning to enhance students' active and collaborative learning activities and learning outcomes. The results of this study are as follows. First, the ef ect of class participation, academic self-regulated learning, and academic self-efficacy were examined. As a result, first, the average of learning activity, class extension, and participation in class was high in the difference between before and after class. Second, the post average scores of all the factors except the 'evaluation' were higher than before. Third, academic self-efficacy showed a significant difference only in 'task preference'. Finally, students' satisfaction with the class was also high. The professor was also able to grasp the characteristics of individual students by designing and operating the classes using PBL, and it was confirmed that the interaction with students increased. Based on the results of this study, we discussed the limitations and educational implications of the problem based learning class and propose successful problem based learning design and operation of the classroom.

Characteristic of the Social Participation in the 16th Century and Its Implication to Modern Christianity (루터의 종교개혁에서 나타난 사회참여적 특징과 현대 기독교적 적용)

  • The Protestant Reformation that erupted 500 years ago has influenced all aspects of society and have become a crucial stepping stone to modern times from the Middle Ages. The purpose of this study was to show the reformational characteristics of the social welfare revealed in the process of the Reformation in the 16th century and how they apply to the Modern Christianity, especially from the view of the missional church. Therefore, in the main body, the two doctrines of Justification by Faith only and the Priesthood of All Believers were based on the Luther's Reformation were examined. A researcher confirmed that his Reformational characteristics concerned about second-class citizens and disadvantaged such as the weak faith, women, and the social situations were considered all the time in his Reformation. There were three characteristics of Luther's social welfare reforms: relief activities, education businesses, and economic policies. In addition, a researcher discussed some suggestions that the missional church can apply to its ministry for creating a healthier community.

A Case Study on the Affective Change of Underachieving Students in Mathematics During Reciprocal Peer Tutoring (상호 또래교수 활동 과정에서 수학 학습부진학생의 정의적 영역 변화 사례 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest Reciprocal Peer Tutoring(RPT) for mathematics underachieving students as one way of the instructional strategies to supplement their lack of mathematics learning and to provide them with successful experiences in learning mathematics. We defined underachieving student in mathematics as the student whose mathematics achievement was high or middle level in the middle school but became lower in high school. Four mathematics underachievers voluntarily participated in this study. We examined the effects and roles of RPT by focusing on their positive change in the affective domain. RPT was conducted for about three months, including pre-training, pretest, and posttest. As the results of this research, RPT has generally made positive changes in the affective domain of underachieving mathematics students. Although four students did not show the same pattern of change and the sub-elements of positive change were different for each student, RPT provided opportunities for 4 all students to experience positive change.

A Study of Building Digital Capacity of Museum Professionals through the Use of Virtual Museum (가상박물관 활용을 통한 박물관 전문인력의 디지털 역량 강화 방안 연구)

  • The overall digital transformation in society is rapidly progressing with the corona virus epidemic. In particular, in the field of cultural heritage and museums, digital transformation is taking place throughout the preservation, management, and utilization of cultural heritage. To respond to this, the importance of cultivating the digital literacy of museum professionals to select and utilize digital cultural heritage information is increasing. However, the current digital capacity education of museum professionals has not reached the cultivation of digital literacy due to one-way theory and one-way practical education. To overcome this, we propose a digital capacity building program using virtual museums. We propose a curriculum based on participatory museums, cooperative learning, and project-based learning theories. Learners experience the entire process of acquiring, selecting, and utilizing digital cultural heritage information through individual, cooperative, constant, exhibitions, and project-based learning programs. We were evaluated by experts in terms of education, museum education, and ICT technology education to prove its usability and derive improvements. This study will contribute to building the digital capacity of museum professionals.

Evaluation of Scholarly Information System in STEM (STEM 학술정보시스템 평가)

  • The fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine) are changing rapidly. Recently, with the remarkable development of Internet and Web technologies, an environment that can be accessed worldwide has been created, thereby lowering the barriers to share STEM knowledge and information. The purpose of this study is to derive improvements by evaluating users' satisfaction with the information system developed by applying the open access model in the STEM field. Through an online survey using a structured questionnaire, a total of 204 users participated from January to February. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative statistical techniques. IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) technique was used. By identifying the importance and satisfaction (performance) between variables, areas with relatively low satisfaction compared to importance were derived. Users' overall satisfaction with the open access information system was 81.2 points and social reliability was 85.9 points, which were relatively high, respectively. What should be paid attention to in this study is the satisfaction with the system use environment, which is the most vulnerable area.

정부규제(政府規制) 합리화(合理化)를 위한 제도개선방안(制度改善方案)

  • 1990년 이후의 정부(政府)의 규제완화(規制緩和) 노력에도 불구하고 일부 산업을 제외하고는 규제완화(規制緩和)의 정책효과(政策效果)가 산업 전반에 뚜렷이 나타나지 못하고 있다. 본고(本稿)는 정부(政府)의 규제완화추진(規制緩和推進)이 큰 효과를 보이지 못하고 있는 원인으로서, 첫째 상설적(常設的)인 규제완화(規制緩和) 추진주체(推進主體)가 없어서 규제(規制)의 주체(主體)가 규제완화(規制緩和)의 실질적인 추진주체가 되어 소극적인 정책추진만을 하였다는 점, 둘째 지속적인 산업실태(産業實態) 조사(調査) 연구(硏究) 및 개별산업별(個別産業別) 규제(規制)의 비용(費用)-편익분석(便益分析)이 결여되어 객관적이며 효과적인 규제완화(規制緩和) 대상과제선정(對象課題選定)이 이루어지지 못하였다는 점, 그리고 규제완화과정(規制緩和過程)에서 공익단체(公益團體), 시민단체(市民團體) 등의 적극적언 참여가 없어서 피규제집단(被規制集團)의 반발에 효과적으로 대응하지 못하였다는 점을 지적하였다. 효과적(效果的)인 규제완화추진(規制緩和推進)을 위한 정책과제(政策課題)로서 본고(本稿)는, 첫째 지속적인 규제완화추진(規制緩和推進)과 사후이행점검, 그리고 신규규제(新規規制)에 대한 사전심사기능(事前審査機能)을 담당할 "규제완화추진기획단(規制緩和推進企劃團)(가칭(假稱))"을 상설기관(常設機關)으로 설치하고, 둘째 부문별(部門別) "규제완화(規制緩和) 민간협의회(民間協議會)(가칭(假稱))"를 구성하여 핵심적인 규제완화 대상과제의 발굴 및 세부추진계획을 수립한 후 기획단(企劃團)에 정책건의(政策建議)할 수 있도록 하며, 셋째 규제완화(規制緩和) 과정(過程)의 합리화(合理化) 공개화(公開化)를 통하여 피규제집단(被規制集團)의 반발에 적절히 대응하여야 한다는 점을 제시하였다.

A Qualitative Study on Prospective Librarians' Library Practicum Experiences: Applying Giorgi's Descriptive Phenomenological Method (예비사서들의 도서관실습 교육경험에 대한 질적 연구 - Giorgi의 기술적 현상학 방법을 적용하여 -)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine prospective librarians' library practicum experiences by using Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological method. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study conducted in-depth interviews with the participants of the library practicum in the department of library and information science at the A university. Following Giorgi's four ways of phenomenological description, the study analyzed the collected data from in-depth interviews with the participants. Prospective librarians' library practicum experiences were able to analyze as five significant themes and seventeen sub-categories of the themes. The five main themes are as followings: 'formulating perception of libraries and librarians', 'formulating career design through self-development and challenges', 'growth and challenges in preparing the library practicum', 'growth and challenges in the middle of library practicum' and 'experiences after the library practicum and the evaluation.' On the basis of the findings, the study suggested alternative programs of library practicum and the directions for performing the programs effectively and efficiently.

  • Service design refers to an activity to design a user's service experience and a design area for professionally executing it. In order to design services from the people's point of view away from the supplier-oriented policy decisions in the past, the recent public participation business model using the service design methodology is increasing. In particular, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security formed the 'National Design Team' in 2014 to design services from the perspective of the public throughout the policy process. The public participatory policy model is being operated in which the public as policy consumers, service designers and public officials as suppliers participate in the overall policy process to develop and develop public services through service design techniques. This study is meaningful in that it presented the developmental direction of the actual project site through the case of the National Design Team sign improvement project with the goal of establishing a regional revitalization strategy using the service design methodology. However, as this study is about the current project, verification of the application of future project sites and user satisfaction evaluation have not been conducted. When the project is completed in the future, it is necessary to conduct a project satisfaction survey targeting consumers.

A Proposal of a Teaching Method using Virtual Reality and Event-Diagram for Secondary Student's Understanding of Basic Concepts in Special Relativity (중등학생의 특수상대론 학습에서 VR과 사건도표를 이용한 수업방법의 제안)

  • The purpose of this study were to develop a tutorial for secondary students to understand of basic concepts of special relativity, which is appropriate for the cognition level of secondary student. We developed the concept evaluation tool and the tutorial material. Result from pretest and post-test are presented to verify the effect of the tutorial for helping student understanding of the concept such as time, event, reference frame, relativity of simultaneity. Secondary student had intense cognitive conflict about the complex concepts such as simultaneity, length contraction and time expansion. This tutorial could be proposed methodology to overcome cognitive difficulty for understanding these concepts.
