The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between image of nurses and nursing professional values in nursing students. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire using convenient sampling methods survey from 147 students enrolled in the nursing department from March 11 to March 22, 2013. There was a significant difference in the image of nurses on the club activities, satisfaction with major, satisfaction with college life. There was a significant difference in the nursing professional values according to the satisfaction with major. Image of nurses has positively correlation with nursing professional values. 'Social participation' domain of image of nurses has a strong positive correlation with nursing professional values. 'Self concept of profession' domain of nursing professional values has a strong positive correlation with image of nurses. Therefore, it is thought that developing various teaching strategies, promoting club activities, paying attention to the student, and guiding them for raising degree of satisfaction with major and college life would be helpful to improve nurse' image and nursing professional values of nursing students.

The purpose of this study investigates the relationships between nurses' image, professional self-concept and nursing professionalism in nursing students, and explore the plan of nursing education for the establishment of exemplary nursing professionalism in nursing students. A convenience sample of 292 subjects were recruited from one university in G city. And data were collected from November 11 to November 15, 2015. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation, Stepwise Multiple linear regression analyses with SPSS 21.0 Program. The nursing professionalism of nursing students showed a significantly positive correlation of nurses' image(r=.821, p<.001) professional self-concept(r=.701, p<.001). Fifty-seven percentage of the variance was explained by nurses' image, professional self-concept and grade. Therefore, on the basis of this study's result, when nursing educational programs are developed to make positive professionalism, these factors need to be consider.

This study aims to understand the effects of nursing college students' anxiety about clinical practice and stress from it during the practice on their nursing professionalism during COVID-19 and be used as baseline data to promote this professionalism. The target is 187 juniors and seniors in nursing college located in Chungnam, Chungbuk, and Gyeongbuk with experience in the clinical practice, and the survey was conducted from September to November 2021. The data was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS 22.0. Nursing professionalism was significantly correlated with clinical practice stress(r=-.151, p=.039). In terms of the factors that influenced the nursing professionalism, the coefficient of determination of satisfaction in major was 5.2%(β=-.24, p=.001), and that of stress from the clinical practice was 3.0%(β=-.17, p=.015), which explains a total of 8.2%. Major satisfaction was the most influential factor predicting greater nursing professionalism. The results of this study demonstrate the necessity to increase nursing students' satisfaction in major and reduce their stress from clinical practice in order to improve the nursing professionalism during COVID-19.

This is a descriptive survey research to understand the influence of new nursing students' empathy ability, gratitude disposition and self-esteem on nursing professionalism. The subjects of this study were 225 new nursing students located in S city. Data were collected by a self-written questionnaire survey method, and data analysis was performed using SPSS/Win 24.0 PC+ program for mean, standard deviation, correlation and regression analysis. As a result, the factors that have the greatest influence on the professionalism of new nursing students were to be gratitude disposition (��=.32, p<.001), empathy ability (��=.32, p<.001), and these variables explained total 34.7% of the nursing professionalism of new nursing students. It is expected that the results of this study will contribute to the development of curriculum and programs that may more correctly establish the nursing professionalism.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of nursing professionalism and rejection sensitivity on moral courage of undergraduate nursing students. It was collected from August 26, 2022 to September 2, 2022 for nursing students at two universities in the metropolitan area, and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS 24.0 program. As a result of the study, the moral courage of nursing students showed a positive correlation with nursing professionalism, but did not show a correlation with rejection sensitivity. Nursing professionalism was found to have an effect on moral courage of nursing students(F=16.11, p<.001). In order to improve the quality of nursing in the clinical field, it is necessary to develop an education and non-regular program on moral courage with great interest in nursing professionalism in the undergraduate course.

This study investigated the relationships among major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and college life adaptation of the nursing students in order to present basic data to assist in adaption of college life. The study subjects were 553 nursing students from two universities in K and P cities by self-report questionnaire survey. Data were collected between November 7 and November 25, 2016. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression using SPSS 21.0 program. As a result, major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and college life adaptation averaged 3.86(out of 5), 3.97(5), and 3.34(5) respectively. There was a significant positive correlation between major satisfaction and nursing professionalism, college life adaptation on nursing students. In addition, nursing professionalism had moderating(F=8.460, p=.004) and partial mediating (${\beta}=.21$, p<.001) effects between major satisfaction and college life adaptation among nursing students. In conclusion, nursing professionalism is a very important factor in the effects of major satisfaction of nursing students on college life adaptation. Therefore, in order to promote college life adaptation of nursing students, and increase their major satisfaction, it is necessary to develop and apply an educational program that can establish the right nursing professionalism.

Purpose: This study was attempted to identify knowledge, performance of standard precautions, and nursing professionalism and to investigate the influence on nursing professionalism in nursing students experienced clinical practice. Methods: The subjects are 205 nursing students in six university nursing departments in two regions. The data were collected from September 7th to September 17th, 2021 using the online survey. Results: The total score for knowledge of standard precautions was 24.69. The average for performance of standard precautions was 3.70 on a scale of 4 and nursing professionalism was an average of 4.12 on a scale of 5. Factors affecting nursing professionalism included gender(β=-.21, p=.002), knowledge of standard precautions(β=.13, p=.044), and performance of standard precautions(β=.27, p=<.001). The explanatory power of the model was 13.1%. Conclusions: Results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop and apply an clinical educational program that can promote knowledge and performance of standard precautions to enhance the positive nursing professionalism of nursing students.

This study was conducted to identify the factors influencing nursing professionalism of nursing students and to prepare measures to enhance them. This study is a descriptive survey of first-year nursing students at one university, which collected data through structured questionnaires from October 1 to October 31, 2019, and there were 203 analyzed with SPSS 22.0. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. According to the results, the most significant factors affecting nursing professionalism included academic self-efficacy (β =.51, p<.001), followed by psychological well-being (β=.31 p<.001), and self-leadership(β=.14, p=.043). These variables explained 23.8% of the total variance in nursing professionalism. Based on the results of this study, it is expected to be used as basic data for various curriculums and programs to improve academic self-efficacy, strengthen psychological well-being, and cultivate self-leadership, thereby improving nursing professionalism of nursing students.

본 조사를 1977년 7월부터 11월까지 전국 52개교 간호교육기관을 대상으로 질문지에 의하여 간호교육기관의 교육 실태를 분석 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국의 간호교육기관 수는 대학과정 14개교(대학 2개교, 간호학과 12개교), 전문학교 37개교, 간호학교 1개교 이었다. 설립별로 분류하여 보면 국립은 9개교, 공립은 16개교, 사립은 27개교이었다. 2. 전국 간호교육기관의 재학생 수는 10,882명이었고 대학과정에 2908명, 전문학교과정에 7,974명이었다. 총 재학생중 남학생 수는 53명이었다. 3. 1977년도 졸업생 수는 총 3,097명으로 11월 현재 취업율은 78.8$\%$ 미취업율은 21.2$\%$을 나타내고 있다. 4. 전국의 총 간호교수는 603명으로 전임강사 이상 간호학 교수는 74%이었다. 대학과정의 학(과)장중 85.7%가 간호학 전공교수 이었으나 전문학교의 경우 기관장중 35.1%가 간호학 전공교수이었다. 5. 교수의 주당 강의시간 수는 대학과정의 경우 1$\~$3시간을 담당하는 교수가 52.6$\%$를 차지함에 비해, 전문학교의 경우 1$\~$3시간 담당교수는 11.0$\%$에 불과 하였으며 7$\~$9시간 담당교수가 28.0$\%$를 차지하고 16시간 이상 강의하는 교수도 2.6$\%$나 있었다. 교수의 정원을 질문 하였으나 자료 수집된 대부분의 학교에서 기록하지 않아 집계할 수 없었음을 밝히며, 끝으로 협조해주신 전국 간호교육 기관에 진심으로 감사드리면서 앞으로도 계속적인 지원과 협조를 바랍니다.

This study was attempted to find out the effect of biomedical ethics and critical thinking disposition of nursing college students on professionalism. For this study, from May to June 2021, 144 students were participated from S University in A City, using self reported questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. As results of this study, it was revealed that there was a significant positive correlation between the professionalism of nursing students on biomedical ethics and critical thinking disposition(r=.400, p<.001, r=.431, p<.001). Also, the factors affecting the professionalism of nursing students were grade(𝛽=0.303, p<.001), biomedical ethics(𝛽=0.287, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition(𝛽=0.294, p<.001) with a total explanatory power of 31.2%. As the results of this study, in order to increase the professionalism of nursing students, it is necessary to develop their biomedical ethics and critical thinking disposition. The specific strategies are to make and apply special programs by their grades.
