A study on process parameter extraction and device characteristics of nMOSFET using DTC method (DTC방법을 사용한 nMOSFET의 공정파라메터 추출 및 소자특성에 관한 연구)

  • In short channel MOSFET, it is very important to establish optimal process conditions because of variation of device characteristics due to the process parameters. In this paper, we used process simulator and device characteristics caused by process parameter variation. From this simulation, it has been ' derived to the dependence relations between process parameters and device characteristics. The experimental result of fabricated short channel device according to the optimal process parameters demonstrate good device characteristics.

  • In this Study, it worked to get the degradation characteristics of polymer insulating materials using TSC technique. So, it prepared epoxy composities with sample, the TSC spectroscopy was applied to investigate the influence of interfacial deformation due to inorganic filler and treatments of coupling agents on the network structure and the electrical properties of epoxy composites.

  • This paper presents a method to calculate the escape frequency factor and its verification from TSC(Thermally Stimulated Current) equation and cures. To apply calculation method of ν using asymptotic estimation, it utilized two sets of TSC data with 1K interval. This method enables one to get the exact value of ν and activation energy at the same time by using computer programming. So, it regards their calculation method as a useful process to obtain the value of physical behavior.

  • This paper proposes a new Interior Point Method algorithm to improve the computation speed and solution stability, which have been challenging problems for employing the nonlinear Optimal Power Flow. The proposed algorithm is different from the traditional Interior Point Methods in that it adopts the Predictor-Corrector Method. It also accommodates the five minute dispatch, which is highly recommended in modern electricity market. Finally, the efficiency and applicability of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated with a case study.

  • Actually, it's very difficult to discriminate the transient on underground power cable system because of the reflected signal including many noises. Therefore, in this paper, a solution based on multiple scales correlation of the transient using SWT(Stationary Wavelet Transform) is presented. It's quick and straightforward. For applying all algorithms, we just use the signal captured in single end.

  • It is well known that the orthogonal function is a very useful to estimate an unknown inputs in the linear dynamic systems for its recursive algebraic algorithm. At this aspects, derivative operation(matrix) of orthogonal functions(walsh, block pulse and haar) are introduced and shown how it can useful to design an UIO(unknown inputs observer) design.

  • It is essential for testing and model validations about generator and controls for stability analysis in power system. After two large disruptions, field testings were much more important and tested for all generators of greater than 10MW. It compared and reviewed about testing and modeling of WSCC, Powertech, and domestic's. This paper points out insufficient testing items and presents complementary testing draft considering domestic circumstance.

  • In abroad, thousands of generator testing were accomplished because of importance about generator stability parameters. But it was introduced TWBP and processing in Korea. In addition to, related rules of generator testing had been weaken. Without guidelines, practical uses are much limited. So, it studied compliance life cycle about generator facility parameters for stability analysis. This paper presents security scheme and working rules using generator testing and disturbance recordings, considering domestic circumstance.

  • Some magnetic probes for theta-pinch experiment have been constructed. Methods of building the coil, conecting it to the oscilloscope, shielding and enclosing the probe are discribed. Such a probe has been used to measure the magnetic flux penetrating it within theta - pinched plasmas.

  • In the design of electrical equipment insulation, it is customary to place pressboard and other insulating material at right angle to the electrical discharge path, which is based on the insulation tests performed on equipment under various conditions such as types of insulation, applied voltage and other unique situations. Since electrical equipment manufacturing started only recently, there is a scarcity of available data on insulation problems, which make it difficult for the design engineers. The author untook this study to provide such analytical design data for various conditions based on the experiment conducted on the equipment being manufactured, thus reducing possible errors in the process.
