80-MW 클라이스트론 부하용 대출력 펄스 트랜스포머의 설계 (Design of High-Power Pulse Transformer for the 80-MW Klystron Load)

  • 포항 방사광 가속기의 선형 가속기에서는 80-MW 클라이스트론 부하를 구동하기 위하여 최대 펄스 정격출력 200 MW(400kv 500A, 평탄도 4.4 $\mu s$)인 대출력 펄스 트랜스포머가 요구된다. 펄스 트랜스포머는 펄스 전원공급 장치(Modulator)로부터 대출력 부하(Klystron)로 펄스 에너지를 전달하며 임피던스 정합을 시키는 기능을 한다. 모듈레이터의 고전압 출력 펄스에서 RF 에너지를 발생시키는데 사용되는 유효 출력 에너지는 출력 펄스의 평탄부의 에너지에 해당된다. 그러므로, 펄스 트랜스포머는 빠른 상승시간을 가지는 것이 요구된다. 빠른 상승시간을 얻기 위하여 누설자속, 분포용량이 작게 되도록 설계하여야 한다.

  • 본 논문은 고압배전선을 이용한 가입자망 개발에 필수적으로 상용되는 고압배전선용 커플러 개발에 관한 것이다. 개발된 고압배전선용 커플링 장치는 고압용 커패시터와 초크코일 및 커플링 트랜스포머로 구성되어 있다. 특히 개발된 커플링 트랜스포머는 1Mhz - 40Mhz 주파수 대역에서 0.1dB 이하의 손실을 가지는 광대역 저손실 특성을 가지는 것으로 평가되었다. 개발된 커플링 장치는 앞으로 전력선 가입자망 구성 및 임피던스 측정장치에 활용하고자 한다.

  • This study evaluated the impedance characteristics of earth termination system and developed a variable frequency-typed inverter (measuring tool) for the utilization in ground design for lightning protection. The variable-frequency-typed inverter were composed of rectification part, voltage adjuster, IGBT controller and measuring part. Meanwhile, the square wave signal of variable frequency converted its frequency up to lightning surge band by using an IGBT after rectifying an alternating current (AC). It conducted performance evaluation of ground impedance of actual earth termination system by using the developed measuring tool for ground impedance and confirmed that such impedance-oriented performance evaluation was effective in the design of lightning protection.

  • The line impedance is important data that is applied in all analysis fields of electric power system like power flow, fault current, stability and relay calculation etc. Usually, impedance can be accurately calculated in case of overhead line. However, in case of power cables or combined transmission lines, impedance can not be accurately calculated because cable systems have the sheath, grounding wires, and earth resistance. Therefore, if there is a fault in cable system, these terms will severely be caused much error to calculation of impedance. Therefore, the line impedance were measured for this study in an actual power system of underground cables, and were analyzed by a generalized circuit analysis program EMTP for comparison with the measured value. These analysis result is considered to become foundation of impedance calculation for underground cable.

  • 본 연구는 광통신을 위한 10Gbps CMOS 수신기 회로 설계에 관한 것이다. 수신기는 포토다이오드, 트랜스임피던스 증폭기, 리미팅 증폭기, 등화기, 클락 및 데이터 복원 회로, 디멀티플렉서, 기타 입출력 회로 등으로 구성돼있다. 여러 광대역 혹은 고속 회로 기법을 써서 SONET OC-192 표준용 광통신에 적합한, 효과적이고 신뢰성 있는 수신기를 구현하고자 하였다.

  • In this study, the piezoelectric ceramics PZT powder was synthesized by Wet-Dry combination method. The flexible 1-3-0 type composites were fabricated with piezoceramic PZT and Eccogel polymer matrix embedded 3rd phase. This paper represents the acoustic properties with various 3rd phase wt.%. The acoustic impedance of 1-3-0 type composites was lower than that of single phase PZT ceramics. The pulse-echo response of transducer fabricated with 1-3-0 type composites was better than solid PZT transducer.

  • This paper proposes adaptive impedance control algorithm using fuzzy inference when robot contacts with its environments. The characteristics of the adaptive impedance controller is to adapt with parametric uncertainty and nonlinear conditions. The control algorithm is to join impedance controller with fuzzy inference engine. The proposed control method overcomes the problem of impedance controller using gain-tuning algorithm of fuzzy inference engine. We implemented an experimental set-up consisting of environment-generated one-link robot system and DSP system for controller development. We apply the adaptive fuzzy impedance controller to one-link root system, and it shows the good performance on regulating the interactive force in case of contacting with arbitrary environment.

  • The research and development for the solid oxide fuel cell have been promoted rapidly and extensively in recent years, because of their high efficiency and future potential. Therefore this paper describes the manufacturing method and characteristics of anode electrode for SOFC, by the way, Ni-YSZ materials are used as anode of SOFC widely. So in this experiments, we investigated the optimum content of Ni, by testing expansion coefficient, impedance characteristics, overvoltage. As a result, the performance of Ni-YSZ anode(40vol%) was better excellent than the others.

임펄스전류에 의한 매설지선의 과도임피던스특성에 대한 모의해석 (Simulated Analysis for the Transient Impedance Behaviors of Counterpoises Subjected to the Impulsive Currents)

  • A ground electrode subjected to lightning surge current shows the transient impedance behaviors. The ground electrode for protection against lightning should be evaluated in view of the transient grounding impedance and conventional grounding impedance, not ground resistance. The transient impedance characteristics of ground electrodes are influenced by the shape of ground electrode and the soil characteristics, as well as the waveform of lightning surge current. In order to propose a simulation method of analyzing the transient impedance characteristics of the grounding system in practical use, this paper suggests a theoretical analysis method of distributed parameter circuit model to simulate the transient impedance characteristics of counterpoise subjected to lightning surge current. EMTP and Matlab programs were employed to compute the transient grounding impedances of three counterpoises with different lengths. As a consequence, the simulated results using the proposed distributed parameter circuit model are in good agreement with the measured results.

자기단 전원임피던스 추정을 이용한 송전선 고장점표정 알고리즘 (Transmission Line Fault Location Algorithm Using Estimated Local Source Impedance)

  • A fault location algorithm using estimated local source impedance after a fault is proposed in this paper. The method uses after fault data only at the local end. It uses the negative sequence current distribution factor for more accurate estimation. The proposed algorithm can keep up with the variation of the local source impedance. Therefore, the proposed algorithm especially is valid for a transmission line interconnected to a wind farm that the equivalent source impedance changes continuously. The performance of the proposed algorithm was verified under various fault conditions using the Simpowersystem of MATLAB Simulink. The proposed algorithm is largely insensitive to the variation in fault distance and fault resistance. The test results show a very high accurate performance.
