A Study on Relationship among Positive Psychological Capital, Physical Health Status, Depression, Interpersonal Relationship and Learning Flow in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 긍정심리자본과 신체적 건강상태, 우울, 대인관계 및 학습몰입의 관련성 연구)

  • This study is a descriptive study designed to identify the relationships among positive psychological capital, physical health status, depression, interpersonal relationship and learning flow. The subjects were 181 nursing students and the data collection was from May 8 to June 20, 2019. Data analysis methods were descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression, using the SPSS 22.0 program. Positive psychological capital showed statistical differences according to age, grade, motive for major choice, major satisfaction and subjective health status. Positive psychological capital was correlated with depression(r=-.454, p<.001), interpersonal relationship(r=.611, p<.001) and learning flow(r=.452, p<.001). The factors affecting learning flow were positive psychological capital(β=.414, p<.001), major satisfaction(β=.177, p=.014), and grade(β=-.150, p=.026), which explained 24.4% of the variance. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and apply educational programs that can promote positive psychological capital in nursing students.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the level of learning flow, learning satisfaction, academic self-efficacy, academic achievement, and academic stress of nursing students who experienced non-face-to-face online lectures, and to investigate the correlation between variables and the factors affecting academic stress. The data of this study was collected from 143 students at a nursing college in Seoul, through a Google online questionnaire from September 1, 2023 to September 25, 2023, and descriptive statistics, Student's t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's Correlation, and linear multiple regression were conducted using SPSS Statistics 25.0. Following an analysis of the difference according to general characteristics, academic stress showed significant difference according to Motivation for applying to department(F=4.465, p=.005) and Major satisfaction(F=36.499, p=.000) of the subjects. The result of analyzing the correlation academic stress was negatively correlated with learning flow (r=-.464, p<.010), academic self-efficacy (r=-.522, p<.010), and academic achievement (r=-.379, p<.010), but learning satisfaction was not correlated with academic stress. Variables affecting academic stress were major satisfaction (𝛽=.367, p<.01), learning flow (𝛽=-.186, p<.05), and academic self-efficacy (𝛽=-.241, p<.05), and the explanatory power for academic stress was 40%. The results of this study can be used as basic data for intervention programs for relieving academic stress of nursing students.

The effects of the motive to choose major, career values, and satisfaction with major on immersion in major by the dental technology students: focus on the students at Daegu districts (치기공과 학생들의 전공선택 동기, 직업 가치관, 전공 만족도, 전공몰입에 미치는 영향: 대구 일부지역 학생들을 대상으로)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate how one's motive to choose a major of study, career values, and satisfaction with the major affect immersion within the major. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire on choice of major and career values was completed by 224 students from March 2nd to March 15th of 2022. The collected data were analyzed using several metrics and tests with IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 software: frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and linear regression. Results: The average scores of the motive to choose a major, career values, satisfaction with the major, and immersion in the major were 3.15, 3.91, 3.56, and 3.45, respectively. There were significant correlations between all four variables (p<0.05). Career values and satisfaction with the major positively influenced a student's immersion in that major; the explanatory power of the model was 77% (p<0.01). Conclusion: The department should offer education on career values to further increase the immersion of dental technician students within their chosen major.

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution modern society demands global convergence talent with expertise. The purpose of this study is to suggest the Person-organizational Fit can be enhanced only when university institutions enhance the learning flow and learning interest of Chinese students. Only when the suitability of Chinese students and Univ. is good will it be of great help to the educational performance and administrative management of international students, and the learning atmosphere and university image can be promoted. However, international students with excessive self-efficacy may have a negative effect on Person-organizational Fit to making it difficult to educate and manage students. On the other hand, for international students with low self-efficacy, the higher the immersion in learning, the higher the individual-organization (Univ) suitability.

  • Metaverse technology, heralded as the fourth major innovation in computing following personal computers, the internet, and mobile devices, has realized a three-dimensional virtual world where communication with others as well as social, cultural, and economic activities of the real world can take place. While platforms like Zepeto, launched in 2018, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, released in 2020, initially became popular among younger generations, concerns about declining investment and usage rates of the metaverse have become apparent since 2023. This study examines the impact of metaverse users' sense of presence on their immersion and intention to continue using these platforms.

  • Korean society believes that graduating from university is essential but even though choosing a career is important because of this social phenomenon, teenagers or the younger generation lack many aspects to choose or take responsibility of their career. Therefore, they are affected by others and this study explores how university students' career identity affects their self-career control and major satisfaction. The subjects of this research were 300 students of M college ranging from freshmen to juniors. The research period was 2015.09.30~10.07. Among the study results, the results of career identity affecting self-career control are career environment setting 18%, career commitment will 27%, planning and examining 18%, career feedback 12%, positive thinking 22% and study shows that career commitment will has a large impact on career identity. Second, the results of how career identity affects major satisfaction revealed that recognition satisfaction, relation satisfaction, and normal satisfaction have a large influence on career decision. This analysis result concludes that a college student's career identity lowers the conflict of choosing a major or job and with a higher satisfaction of their major, can obtain self-confidence of choosing a job, searching for a job, and setting a life goal. Therefore, in order to raise career identity, colleges need to research and develop career guidance programs and career counseling.

An Exploratory Study on Institutional Commitment of C-University Students (C대학교 대학생의 대학 몰입에 관한 탐색적 논의)

  • The purpose of this study is to pave the way to promote the institutional commitment of the students enrolled by identifying the factors that affects on their institutional commitment. The data collection was conducted starting from November 19, 2020 until November 26, 2020 by using online questionnaires and 220 participants were from C-university students in Chang-won, Kyung-nam Province. As a result of analysis, the average score for institutional commitment was 3.30, the average level of satisfaction of university life was 3.62, the cultural climate was 3.39 and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular program was 3.48, which was in high range. Institutional commitment has a positive correlation between the level of satisfaction of university life, the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs(p<.001). The most critical factor that affects the institutional commitment was the level of satisfaction of university life and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs, the cultural climate in order. The result can be interpreted that institutional commitment is influenced by students' major and the level of satisfaction of university life and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs, and the level of satisfaction of university life has relatively high level of influence out of other factors, indicating that the effort to improve the institutional commitment of the students is needed at the collegiate level.

The Effects of Learning Flow, Academic Stress and Resilience on Self-efficacy of University Students (대학생의 학습몰입, 학업스트레스, 회복탄력성이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was attempted to confirm the effects of learning flow, academic stress, and resilience on self-efficacy in college students. This study targeted 304 university students in B and G cities. Data analysis was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 22.0 program. The average self-efficacy of the subjects was 3.14±0.62 points, and the difference in self-efficacy according to general characteristics was significant in gender(t=-2.533, p=.012) and satisfaction with major(F=5.687, p=.004). Self-efficacy of the subjects was positive correlation with learning flow(r=.574, p<.001), resilience(r=.525, p<.001), and negative correlation with academic stress(r=-.262, p<.001). Resilience of the subjects showed positive correlation with learning flow(r=.325, p<.001) and negative correlation with academic stress(r=-.291, p<.001). Learning flow showed negative correlation with academic stress(r=-.211, p<.001). Factors influencing the self-efficacy of the subjects were identified as academic commitment (β=.442, p<.001) and resilience (β=.363, p<.001) and the explanatory power was 45.6%. Therefore, in order to improve college students' self-efficacy, it is necessary to develop and apply education and programs that can improve learning flow and resilience.

  • This study examined the effects and roles of transmedia such as trailer (i.e., trailer) and webtoon OST (i.e., Original Sound Track), which have recently served as extended content in webtoons. In recent years, the number of transmedias using webtoons has increased rapidly, and production and consumption in various directions have been taking place. However, studies on whether these contents lead to positive emotions and attitudes toward webtoons are not actively conducted. Therefore, this paper examined the effect through loyalty and perceived enjoyment, and found that 'increasing immersion in content through transmedia' plays a major role as a major variable. In addition, it is determined whether these mechanisms appear differently by gender, and in the case of women, media consumption tends to be based on emotional signals compared to men, so transmedia will further increase the level of immersion, but webtoon content did not show gender effects on media consumption. This is a meaningful result that shows that in general, media consumption methods according to gender appear differently in webtoons. Therefore, based on the results, this study presented directions and implications to keep in mind when planning the production of various transmedias using webtoons.

Effects of Physical Activity University Students on Time Perspective in Leisure Constraints and Leisure Flow (신체활동 대학생들의 시간관이 여가제약, 여가몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was conducted to clarify physical activity university students on time perspective in leisure constraints and leisure flow. To achieve this purpose, subjects of this study were sampled 295 Physical Activity University Students participant using purposeful sampling method for 2 months from May to June of 2017. Using questionnaires stratified cluster random sampling in university students in D city and C city. The analysis method was used t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis methods in order to solve problems of the study. According to the study Result, First, studies show that female have high levels of leisure constraints than males. Males have higher levels of leisure flow than females. The first grader show high level of individual constraints and past negation were also high. In the series of majors, natural affiliates and humanities are high in the past negation, present destiny, the service major currently high in pleasure and of leisure, autotelic experience of leisure flow. In the rhythmic type of Activity type, the past negation, present destiny and leisure constraints are highly likely to be higher. In the competitive have shown that is high. Second, leisure constraints on students' participation in physical activities have been found to have negative influence on their students. Third, leisure flow have shown that they have a positive effect on past affirmation and present pleasure.
