In addition, this study is to improve the level of radiation experts engaged in the industries in quality, and it is to improve the social recognition of radiation rather negative now because of the development of radiation industry. As for the core results of this research, it was to suggest the detailed choice method curriculum proper to the service fields of radiation industries, but it may be subject to change due to each college's property and the educational objectives. From the result of this research above, it may be summed up as follows. First, as for the detailed curriculum by the service field, this study was to organize two subject matters: 1. the subject matter proper to the field of using the radiation, and 2. the subject matters proper to the safety control field of radiation. Second, as for the detailed curriculum by the pattern of industries, this study was to organize the four subject matters: 1. the subject matter needed in the manufactures, 2. the subject matter needed in the nondestructive testing industries, 3. the subject matter needed in the sales agencies, and 4. the subject matter needed in the laboratories. This study was to suggest the operational model about the curriculum in order to execute these subject matters. It could be executed as two methods below. First, one method is to execute the major systems by the medical field and industrial field in the third course at the department of radiation in the junior college now. Second, the other method is to make them specialize the industrial radiation in the Advanced Course(one year course) after the graduation of junior college. To operate these curricula successively it needs to assume the deeper research and the development of materials about the subject matters related to the nuclear radiation industries hereafter. In addition, it needs to solve the security of finance like the manpower of professor, space for practice, and the educational appliances, etc. needed in the operation of subject matters. • The Internet is changing or even eliminating old organizational schemes, including education. A growing number of universities and graduate schools are creating curriculums to reflect these changes. Business schools have prepared their students for a corporate world to offer some E-commerce courses. While E-commerce courses are proliferating in computer and information science schools, they are also spreading to other university departments including law and advertising. The objective of this paper is to suggest a prototype E-commerce curriculum for E-commerce departments. First, we survey and compare the E-commerce curriculum offered in many universities. Second, we provide the new E-commerce curriculum model for Korean universities. E-courses are classified as three knowledge areas of E-commerce courses such as business, technology, and core. We prioritize E-courses selected and rank their importance through an exploratory study for suggesting the undergraduate or graduate curriculum.

  • The 2015 revised curriculum is an integrated curriculum that reflects national and societal needs to foster creative convergent talent in the school curriculum. Along with these changes, the Ministry of Education introduced a system to change the major from 2017 to the fourth year of university. Therefore, each university should prepare to reflect the curriculum and institutional change before welcoming students who have completed the 2015 revised curriculum. The university needs to study the countermeasures for implementing the 2015 revised curriculum and expanding the period of major change when preparing the curriculum and contents of the calculus courses that freshmen take. Handong University has been studying the operation methods of new students who want to decide their major at the first grade, such as operating calculus courses at various levels and allocating appropriate proportions of calculus for preliminary examinations. This case is similar to the basic purpose of the revised curriculum in 2015, so it can suggest implications for the operation of the university calculus class after the curriculum revision. In this paper, we have analyzed the results of the recent freshman mathematics test for the recent 5 years and the students' calculus grades and compared them with the contents of the calculus curriculum operated by Handong University and the 2015 revised higher mathematics curriculum. As a result, we proposed five classes of calculus suitable for college major and it was found that the calculus curriculum should include the missing quadratic method in the 2015 revised curriculum.

  • This study was focused on whether secondary science teachers have consistent, integrative scheme on the definition of atmospheric pressure and phenomena caused by air pressure. We had made questionnaire and let 94 science teachers answer. We sorted the responses according to their major, school and compared them with the description in textbooks. The result can be summarized into three findings. First of all, teachers whose major is chemistry have strong tendency to understand that atmospheric pressure is caused by molecular motion though it, in textbooks, is defined as the pressure by weight of air mass. The half of respondents believed that decreasing of atmospheric pressure in high altitude is due to molecular motions, while most textbook says decrease in the weight of air mass. Secondly, many science textbooks show that air mass expands, rises, becomes less dense and the pressure of atmosphere becomes low when it receives heat. So, most of respondents explained low pressure is formed by lower density. Thirdly, they answered that they just teach the phenomena of air pressure by using the textbooks which mainly deal with the present state rather than a principle. In conclusion, the science textbooks should present the exact description and consolidated structures of those concepts to prevent students from having misconceptions on air pressure. In addition, training program for science teachers would be necessary to reconsider and explore the natural phenomena in various viewpoints.

  • As animation industry continues to evolve in China, the demand for excellent manpower is on the increase. However, there is a difficulty in cultivating practical talents because many colleges and universities in China do not have the systematized animation education. This study compares the curriculum for animation major in Korea and China in order to find out the major problems and the improvement plans of animation education in China. It was shown that the curriculum in China mainly consisted of the subjects to learn technical skills and lacked the subjects to enhance students' creativity. Especially, universities in China did not offer the practice environment in which students apply and utilize what they learned. As a result, students had less opportunity to experience creative process of making animation. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to make the balanced basic curriculum, link the practice courses with the creativity courses, develop the specialized learning methods and provide the training opportunities through industry-university cooperation. The results of this study suggest that good quality animation education is an important element for universities and animation industry to continue to prosper together.
