  • In this paper, In this paper, we study the recognition of undergraduate students and professors about the relation between mathematics learning contents of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. We chose 155 undergraduate students and 6 professors at college of business administration in M university and investigate their recognition about the relation between mathematics learning contents of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. We found following facts. First, mathematics education in high school should be based on understanding of mathematical conceptions and principles rather than problem-solving skills to intensifying the relation between mathematics of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. Second, we have impressed upon them, whom are going to college of business administration, the need for more mathematics to study a major field.

  • The Purpose of this study was to exam the relationships among nurse image, nursing professionalism and major satisfaction and mediating effect. A convenience sample of 200 nursing students were recruited from a college in G city, from May 12 to 16. 2014. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS/PC ver 21.0 programs. There were significantly positive correlations between nurse image, nursing professionalism and major satisfaction. Nursing professionalism fully mediated the relationship between nurse image and major satisfaction. These findings indicate that increasing nursing professionalism can be an effective way to change nurse image more positive among nursing students, especially before clinical practice. A collaborative effort among nursing education and nursing leaders in practice is needed to change nurse image more positive.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of ethical propensity, self-esteem and clinical satisfaction on major satisfaction in dental hygiene students. The study was conducted with third grade students in 3 dental hygiene colleges in Gyeongnam and Ulsan. The results were as follows : 1. Self-esteem showed high score in 'Before senior high school student' of the time of department selection, in 'Good' of oral health, in 'Outgoing' of personality and in 'Good' of family atmosphere. 2. Clinical practice satisfaction showed high score in 'Have' of part-time job experience in dental clinic. In case of major satisfaction, there were significantly different means with time of department selection and oral health. 3. The factors that influence to major satisfaction are self-esteem(${\beta}=.165$, p=.000) and clinical satisfaction(${\beta}=.630$, p=.000). It is important that making the curriculum to improve ethical propensity and self-esteem, clinical satisfaction for dental hygiene students.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore relationship among self efficacy, major satisfaction, nursing ethics values in nursing department students so nursing students' ethical values, so that the correct opening for the establishment of training courses was to try to provide the basic data. Data were collected from 275 nursing department students and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Bonferroni's test and Pearson's correlation coefficients with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The results of this study self-efficacy, major satisfaction was more than the middle, the subjects were taking positions of responsibility. Nursing ethics values and self-efficacy, major satisfaction and subject areas showed a very low correlation, self-efficacy and major satisfaction is a significant positive correlation. Therefore, to enhance self-efficacy and nursing students that can be sustained by developing a variety of educational programs for nursing professionals to meet and establish a firm that values nursing ethics is urgently required.

  • This study was conducted to identify the effects of major selection motivation and occupational values on employment preparation behavior for paramedic students', and to provide basic data for improving employment preparation behavior based on the results. After receiving the consent to participate in the research from November 4 to 8, 2019, a self-written questionnaire was conducted for 3rd and 4 year university paramedic students' located in D Metropolitan City and J Province. Among the collected data, 341 parts, except for the 9 parts with insufficient response, were finally analyzed with SPSS ver. 12.0 (Window). Results, personal motivation of major selection motivation, intrinsic work values of occupational values, and extrinsic work values were influenced in order to employment preparation behavior. Therefore, it is considered that it is necessary to open a vocational value course in individual and group counseling and regular or non-regular curriculum considering the characteristics of gender and grade, major selection motivation, and occupational oalues.

  • This study was conducted to identify whether there is a significant difference in the developmental stages of the evolution concept depending on the major and the country. For this study, college students (both biology major and non-biology major) in Korea and the United States answered evolution concept assessment developed by Ha (2007). The data were analyzed based on the method of developed by Ha (2016). As a result of this study, Cronbach alpha for internal consistency reliability and MNSQ indices for item response fitness of the ordered multiple choice method providing 0 to 4 point scores to creationism, teleology, intentionality, use/disuse, and natural selection respectively, satisfied the benchmark. The level of Korean college students' evolution concepts was located in use/disuse and the level of USA college students' evolution concepts was located in teleology. No interaction effect was found between the difference of conceptual progressions of evolution concept by major and country and evolution contexts (human, animal, and plant). There was a significant relationship between developmental stages of evolution concept and their religiosity. Based on the results of this study, we discuss developmental characteristics of evolutionary concepts.

  • Flip-learning enables an effective teaching and learning in accordance with the deepening degree of engineering education as a framework that enables learning according to the individual differences of the theoretical aspects, and solving real problems and practice of the learner-centered education through the application of this. The subject of basic fluid power practice which is used in various industries requiring factory automation aims at understanding of the composition and operating principles of pneumatic components and programming of electric sequential circuits, building the design ability of pneumatic system. This subject goes by 3 hour classes with theory and practice side by side. So it has not enough time to instruct students various contents related in this subject. In this study, the instructional design was performed according to the KOREATECH (Korea University of Technology and Education) flip-learning basic model for the effective teaching of 'Basic Fluid Power Practice' in basic engineering practice courses,. And the effectiveness of flip-learning is analyzed through the students survey after performing classes.
