Delta-Sigma Modulator Structure and limit Cycle Generation (델타시그마 변환기 구조와 Limit Cycle 발생)

  • Pattern noise in the Delta-Sigma modulator is a well Known phenomenon that intrigued many circuit designers. These noise appear as the modulator output falls into a cyclic mode of operation. This paper addresses the dependence of these tone signal upon the system topologies. Among the four well known single-stage DSM topologies, namely Cascade of Integrators with Feedback Form(CIFB), Cascade of Integrators with Feedforward Form(CIFF), Cascade of Resonators with Feedback Form(CRFB), and Cascade of Resonators with Feedforward Form(CRFF), resonator type DSMs turn out to be more susceptible to the pattern noise than the integrator type. Noise transfer functions of the investigated topologies are also presented.

Analysis of Electromagnetic Scattering from Arbitrarily Shaped Three-Dimensional Dielectric Objects Using Combined Field Integral Equation (결합 적분방정식을 이용한 삼차원 임의형태 유전체의 전자파 산란 해석)

  • In this paper, we present various combined field integral equation (CFIE) formulations for the analysis of electromagnetic scattering from arbitrarily shaped three dimensional homogeneous dielectric body in the frequency domain. For the CFIE case, we propose eight separate formulations with different combinations of testing functions that result in sixteen different formulations of CFIE by neglecting one of testing terms. One of the objectives of this paper is to illustrate that not all CFIE are valid methodologies in removing defects, which occur at a frequency corresponding to an internal resonance of the structure. Numerical results involving far scattered fields and radar cross section (RCS) are presented for a dielectric sphere to illustrate which formulation works and which do not.

  • In this paper, it is suggested that instantaneous compensation PWM control for inverter without the smoothing capacitor Therefore, this inverter system has several advantages. It has small volume and low price to manufacture, decrease trouble rate of inverter, and has power factor correction effect because huge smoothing capacitor-less. And it has compact size control circuit to use analog integrator device. It could make the smoothing capacitor-less inverter for air-blower motor by using the instantaneous compensation PWM controller. This inverter system has small volume and value compare with the conventional VVVF control inverter.

  • An improved version of current-regulated delta modulator (CRDM) is investigated for the output cunent control of v voltage-source inverters that have transformer-coupled series resonant load and are operated at the resonant frequency. Conventional CRDM has not only CUlTent offset problem but also transformer flux saturation problem when i it is applied to induction heating systems that have transformel-coupled loads. To cope with these problems, the effect of flux saturation is analysed, and simple method to av이d the problem is proposed. And integral type of CRDM is a adopted to remove the cunent offset. The boundaries of integrator gain for stable operation is calculated using the c concept of sliding mode controL The validity of proposed strategy is vel퍼ed through simulations and prototype e experiments.

  • 본 논문은 냉, 난방 디지털 온도 조절계(SPC 50)의 Etl의 편차 정 동작에 관한 구현장치 제작과 비례 미.적분기가 At 및 비 At기능에서 설정온도를 $100^{\circ}C$를 유지하는데 기인된 전압전류 및 전력데이터 획득의 요인과 비례미적분 정수 및 노 개선점을 연구하였다. 설정온도를 유지하는 온도변화는 At기능에서 $96.7^{\circ}C\sim102^{\circ}C$ 이며, 비At 기능에서는 $97.6^{\circ}C\sim100.2^{\circ}C$이었다. 온도유지 전압변동은 At기능에서 2V~217V이며, 비 At기능에서 20V~217V 이었다. At와 비 At 기능에서 설정온도 $100^{\circ}C$을 유지하는데 온도를 냉각시키는 환풍기가 온. 오프 되는 시간차는 20초 정도 발생하였다. 온도차 및 전압차는 두 기능간에 비례 미. 적분값 설정이 자동 및 수동이냐에 따라서 차이를 보여주었다. 두 기능에서 설정된 온도값 유지에 따른 전압전류의 승압과 하강의 변동된 변환 데이터는 설정된 온도가 성취되어지는 시간차 및 설정값 유지의 특성을 요인으로 한 PID값과 노의 개선점에 길잡이가 된다.

Motion Style Transfer using Variational Autoencoder (변형 자동 인코더를 활용한 모션 스타일 이전)

  • In this paper, we propose a framework that transfers the information of style motions to content motions based on a variational autoencoder network combined with a style encoding in the latent space. Because we transfer a style to a content motion that is sampled from a variational autoencoder, we can increase the diversity of existing motion data. In addition, we can improve the unnatural motions caused by decoding a new latent variable from style transfer. That improvement was achieved by additionally using the velocity information of motions when generating next frames.

  • This paper presents the method of improving the data rate and BER in the inductive coupling link using a BPM signaling method. A complementary switching transmitter is used to remove invalid glitches at transmitted data, and the concept of pre-distortion is introduced to optimize received data. Also, an integrating receiver is used to increase the sampling margin and equalizing transistors are added in the pre-charge path of the integrator and comparator for high frequency operation. The transceiver designed with a 0.13 um CMOS technology operates at 2.4 Gb/s and consumes 5.99 mW from 1.2 V power supply.

Robust Tracking and Human-Compliance Control Using Integral SMC and DOB (적분슬라이딩모드와 DOB를 이용한 강인추종 및 인간순응 로봇제어)

  • The robot control with safety consideration is required since robots and human work together in the same space more frequently in these days. For safety, robots must have compliance to human force and robust tracking performance with high impednace for the nonhuman disturbances. The novel idea is proposed to achieve the compliance and high impedance with one controller structure. For the compliance, the ISMC(Integral Sliding Mode Control) and HDOB(Human Disturbance Observer) The human force is identified by using the human band pass filter and its output is sent to the sliding surface. The sliding mode dynamic is affected by human disturbance and the compliance for human is achieved. The disturbances besides human frequencies are decoupled by the ISMC and the robust tracking is achieved. The additional LDOB(Low Frequency Disturbance Observer) decreases the maxim nonlinear gain and leads low chattering. The introduction of human disturbance into the sliding mode dynamic is the main novel idea of this paper.

Derivation of design equations for various incremental delta sigma analog to digital converters (다양한 증분형 아날로그 디지털 변환기의 설계 방정식 유도)

  • Unlike traditional delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters, incremental analog-to-digital converters enable 1:1 mapping of input and output through a reset operation, which can be used very easily for multiplexing. Incremental analog-to-digital converters also allow for simpler digital filter designs compared to traditional delta-sigma converters. Therefore, starting with analysis in the time domain of the delayed integrator and non-delayed integrator, which are the basic blocks of analog-to-digital converter design, the design equations of a second-order input feed-forward, extended counting, 2+1 MASH (Multi-stAge-noise-SHaping), 2+2 MASH incremental analog-to-digital converter are derived in this paper. This allows not only prediction of the performance of the incremental analog-to-digital converter before design, but also the design of a digital filter suitable for each analog-to-digital converter. In addition, extended counting and MASH design techniques were proposed to improve the accuracy of analog-to-digital converters.

Implementation of a Sensor Fusion FPGA for an IoT System (사물인터넷 시스템을 위한 센서 융합 FPGA 구현)

  • In this paper, a Kalman filter-based sensor fusion filter that measures posture by calibrating and combining information obtained from acceleration and gyro sensors was proposed. Recent advancements in sensor network technology have required sensor fusion technology. In the proposed approach, the nonlinear system model of the filter is converted to a linear system model through a Jacobian matrix operation, and the measurement value predicted via Euler integration. The proposed filter was implemented at an operating frequency of 74 MHz using a Virtex-6 FPGA Board from Xilinx Inc. Further, the accuracy and reliability of the measured posture were validated by comparing the values obtained using the implemented filters with those from existing filters.
