Effect of Co/Pd Multilayer on the Magnetoresistance of Perpendicularly Magnetized Magnetic Tunnel Junction (Co/Pd 다층막구조가 수직자기터널접합의 자기저항에 미치는 영향)

  • We investigated the magnetoresistance of perpendicularly magnetized magnetic tunnel junction composed of Co/Pd multilayers. The magnetoresistance was maximized with Co electrodes of about 5 nm thickness, which evidenced the important role of the interface in tunneling process. Both the change in perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and improvement of junction resistance were observed with changing Co sublayers, while the spin scattering became dominant with increasing Pd sublayers.

  • 동시 소성으로 LCR network을 구성하기 위한90$0^{\circ}C$ 소성용 Ru계 저항체를 제조하 였다. 동시 소성에 요구되는 최종온도에 이르기 위해서는 90$0^{\circ}C$에서 용융되는 유리상을 제 조하는 것이 필수적이다. 이 90$0^{\circ}C$소결용 저항 페이스트는 가장 낮은 용융온도를 갖는 PbO 의 양을 감소시키고 알루미나와 실리카의 양을 증가시켜 제조하였다. 본 연구에서는 ferrite 로 이루어진 inductor 그린쉬트 위에 ruthenate 저항체를 인쇄하여 동시소성한후 그 복합체 의 저항 특서에대하여 고찰하였다. PbO의 양이 감소될수록 복합 기판의 면적저항은 증가 되었고 inductor 기판 위에 잔류되는 저항페이스트의 양도 함께 증가하였다.

  • 초정밀 박막저항을 제조하기 위하여, 3원계 5lwt%Ni-4lwt%Cr-8wt%Si 합금 타겟(Target)을 가지고 DC/RF 마그네트론 스퍼터를 이용하여 박막 저항을 제조하였고. 낮은 저항온도계수(TCR)를 가지는 박막을 만들기 위해 스퍼터링 제조공정의 변화에 따른 박막의 미세구조와 전기적인 특성을 조사하였다. 스퍼터링 제조공정 변수로써 스퍼터링 Power를 변화시켰고. 제조된 박막은 공기 중에서 400[$^{\circ}C$]까지 열처리하였다. 반응압력을 감소시킴에 따라 TCR값은 감소하였고, 기판온도 및 열처리 온도의 증가에 따라 TCR값도 증가하였다. 또한. 저항온도계수값은 DC와 RF의 변화에 따라 +52, -25(ppm/$^{\circ}C$)의 TCR값을 나타냈다 이와 같은 결과로부터 제조공정을 변화시킴에 따라 면저항 및 저항 온도계수의 제어가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

The Magnetoresistance Properties of Spin Valves with CoFe/Ru/CoFe/FeMn Synthetic Antiferromagnet (Synthetic antiferromagnet CoFe/Ru/CoFe/FeMn을 이용한 스핀 밸브 구조의 자기저항 특성)

  • Top synthetic spin valves with structure Ta/NiFe/CoFe/Cu/CoFe(P1)/Ru/CoFe(P2)/FeMn/Ta on Si(100) substrate with natural oxide were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering system, and investigated on the magnetoresistance properties and effective exchange bias field. As the thickness of FeMn increased above 150 $\AA$, MR ratio was decreased due to the current shunting effect. As the thickness of free layer decreased below 40$\AA$, MR ratio was reduced rapidly. In case of 40 $\AA$ thick of free layer, spin valve film with a structure Si(100)/Ta(50 $\AA$)/NiFe(27 $\AA$)/CoFe(13 $\AA$)/Cu(26 $\AA$)/CoFe(30 $\AA$)/Ru(7 $\AA$)/CoFe(15 $\AA$)/FeMn(100 $\AA$)/Ta(50 $\AA$) exhibited maximum MR ratio of 7.5 % and an effective exchange bias field of 600 Oe, respectively. Thickness difference dependence in this synthetic spin valve structure on effective exchange field was investigated and interpreted by the analytical method. It should be noted that thickness increase of CoFe(P 1) and decrease of CoFe(P2) in synthetic antiferromagnet leaded to the decrease in effective exchange bias field by experimentally and analytically.

Effect of Fcrromagnetic Layer and Magnetoresistance Behavior of Co-Evaporated Ag-CoFe Nano-Granular Alloy Films (Ag - CoFe 합금박막의 자기저항 및 강자성 상하지층의 효과)

  • The magnetoresistance (MR) and the saturation field behavior of the CoFe-Ag nano granular films as a function of the ferromagnetic underlayer and overlayer materials were investigated. The maximum MR ratio of 25.7 % and the saturation field of 2.1 kOe in the as-deposited 3000 $\AA$ $(Co_{92}Fe_8)_{31}Ag_{69}$ single alloy films at room temperature were obtained. The MR ratio and the saturation field of the 100 $\AA$ alloy film were 1.2 % and 5.2 kOe, respectively. Those of the sandwiched alloy films of 200 $\AA$ thick with the Fe under and overlayer of 100 $\AA$ were 11 % and 1.8 kOe respectively. The reduction of saturation field in the sandwiched alloy films is due to the exchange coupling between the ferromagnetic layers and the alloy layer. Among the Fe and FeNi, the more effective materials to reduce the saturation field of the sandwiched alloy films was Fe.

  • Field model tests were performed to develop the grid-net landfill leachate leakage detection system using electrical resistance. Electric circuit tests were also carried out to investigate the expected electrical effects of grid-net electric circuit. The resistance of leaking point showed lower value than that of non leaking point. Grid-net leakage detection system was thought to be effective to locate the leachate leaking point. The measured electrical resistance along the wire including the leaking point was slightly reduced following the reduction of electrical resistance at the leaking point, which was explained by electric circuit test results.

  • The planing craft is designed specifically to achieve comparatively high speed on the surface of the water. In general, the stepped hull craft has effect improvement in speed and fuel-efficiency because of the reduction of total resistance by a small wetted surface area without corresponding stepped hull craft. In this paper, the high speed stepped hull crafts with respect to the number of bottom steps were performed to compare the effect of resistance performance using at-sea model-test method. In conclusion, the stepped hull craft with twin-step was proved to be effective to reduce the total resistance.

  • The aerodynamic drag of ultra high-speed train in evacuated tube have been calculated using computational fluid dynamics and the variation of aerodynamic drag for the change of major system parameter of tube-vehicle system such as the train speed, air density, and the tunnel diameter. The aerodynamic drag in the tube increases with increasing train speed, however, the ratio of drag increase in tube is larger than that on the open field, the V square rule. The aerodynamic drag decreases with increasing tunnel diameter and increasing air density, and the drag increasing for air density is almost linear just like that on open field. For some combination of the parameters, the trend of aerodynamic drag of train showed irregularity.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting consumer resistance of smart watches, focusing on consumer groups. SPSS 19.0 was used to conduct a descriptive analysis and multi regression analysis of the data. This study is based on the questionnaire data of 407 consumers. The results of this study are as follows. First, the relative advantage was identified as a factor in reducing consumer resistance across all gender and age groups. Second, complexity has been identified as a factor that increases the consumer resistance of female consumers, and consumer groups in their 20s and 40s. Third, esthetics was found to reduce consumer resistance in men, women, and the consumer group in their 20s. Fourth, subjective norms were identified as a factor reducing consumer resistance in women and in consumer groups in their 20s and 30s. Fifth, the risk of privacy was identified as a factor in increasing consumer resistance in men and the consumer group in their 40s. The results of this study can be helpful to understand consumer resistance to smartwatches.

  • 전자기기의 Slim화에 따라 부품 일장용 Board 기판의 두께도 날로 감소해지고 있다. 이와는 정 반대로 기판의 층수는 더 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 기판의 구성요소인 절연재의 두께도 감소하고 있다. 전자기기는 각각의 Module이 저항을 가지는데 이를 matching하기 위해서 각 module이나 package가 가지는 저항값을 상호 비슷하게 맞춘다. 하지만, 기판의 절연재의 두께 감소는 이러한 저항값이 낮아지게 한다. 이렇게 낮아진 저항값을 높이기 위해서는 전도체의 폭을 줄여야 한다. 하지만, 이렇게 전도체의 폭을 줄이는 것은 기판 제작 비용의 상승 및 제작 물가에 이르게 할 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 절연재의 유전율을 낮추는 것이 가장 효과적이다. 본 연구에서는 PCB 기판의 유전율을 낮추기 위해 Liquid Crystalline Polymer(LCP)에 PTFE powder를 넣어 기판 재료의 가능성을 조사하였다. 유전율은 PTFE의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 감소하여 40wt% 첨가할 경우 유전율이 2.4 정도로 낮아졌다. 이에 반해 열팽창계수는 증가가 크지 않고 peel strength는 감소함을 알 수 있었다.
