A Study on Utilization Plan of Nangido Landfill Using Digital Elevation Model (수치표고모형을 이용한 난지도 쓰레기 매립장의 이용계획에 관한 연구)

  • For the design of a large-scale landfill, the future utilization plan of the landfill ought to precede based on the analysis of existing facility. Analysis for the present condition of reclamation must include accurate assesment of volume and other consideration such as urban scenery. In this study an optimum data interpolation scheme area/volume determination method based on the classification of topography were combined for the correct assessment of sweeping volume. Combined model was compared with the real data of Digital Elevation Model constructed by aero photography. The new model aims at providing basic information for the design and utilization of a new landfill. A a result of this study, we made an algorithm to perform the classification of the topography in the area of interest objectively. In addition, we decided optimal data interpolation scheme and area/volume calculation method for given topography. Finally, we applied the developed methodology to Nangido Landfill to assess current landfill situation and potential capacity when landfilling is resumed.

  • As the residential culture of Korea is transformed from house oriented to apartment oriented residential environment these days, the bedroom closets are changing into the built-in furniture such as built-in closets. As the life style of consumers become richer and wealthy, the bedroom furniture is changing to respond for the forms, function, and design characteristics of the consumer's demand. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of the built-in closets such as structure, function and material were studied to analyze the basic changes and compared the normal closet to the built-in closet to analyze the elements in terms of environment and convenience. Moreover, to develop forms and designs to fit various characteristics and differences of the consumers, various forms of consumer demand were analyzed. Therefore, this study intended to provide the basic information for providing the efficient form and structure that enables the use of internal space as the consumer wishes to change the design elements, and other spaces to fit the changed residential environment.

Design of Supersonic Wind Tunnel for Analysis of Flow over a Backward Facing Step with Slot Injection (슬롯 분사가 있는 후향계단 유동장 분석을 위한 초음속풍동 설계)

  • A test section of a supersonic wind tunnel was designed for the analysis of flow characteristics over a backward-facing step with Mach 1.0 slot injection in a supersonic flow of Mach 2.5. The cavity flow of a high-speed vehicle is very complex at supersonic speed, so it is necessary to do experiments using supersonic wind tunnels to verify numerical analysis methods. The previous 2D symmetrical nozzle was replaced with an asymmetrical nozzle. The inviscid nozzle contour was designed using Method of Characteristics (MOC), and the boundary layer thickness correction was reflected by experimental data from the wind tunnel. The results were compared with a CFD analysis. The PID control system was changed to be based on the change of tank pressure. This improved the control efficiency, and the run times of supersonic flow increased by about 1 second. The flow characteristics over a backward facing step with slot injection were visualized by a Schlieren device. This equipment will be used for an experimental study of the film cooling effectiveness over a cavity with various velocities, mass flows, and temperatures.

  • This study aims to examine economic effects and success factors of ICT based growth engine industry for forth generation industrial revolution. KTRS(kibo Technology Rating System) provided by KIBO is used for an analysis of this study. Specifically, the economic effects of growth engine industy are classified with financial(productivity, growth rate, etc) and non-financial(R&D investment and employment) effects. Moreover, the impacts of KTRS factors including CEO capability, technology ability, commercialization and marketability on the economic effects are investigated. The result of this study would raise management issues on technology innovation and provide implications on industrial policies for ICT based growth engine industry.

  • 미러 하우징에서 발생하는 윈드노이즈는 다양한 종류의 발생원인을 가지고 있다. 'A'-필라 와동과의 간섭으로 발생하는 것에서부터 하우징 자체의 형상 파라미터와 관련한 소음, 작은 부품간의 매칭상태에 따라 불리한 조건에서 발생하는 소음 등이 있다. 본 연구는 제조과정이나 조립과정에서 발생하는 소음이 아닌 순수 형상 변화에 따라 유동장과 소음장에 어떤 변화를 야기하는지에 대한 것으로 한정 지었으며 대표적인 디자인 파라미터 별 유동장과 소음장에 미치는 영향의 대소를 조사하였다. 조사 방법은 상용 CFD 툴인 PowerFLOW 해석을 통해 유동장 및 소음장에 대한 상세한 분석을 수행했으며 미러 디자인 측면에서 참고할 가이드를 제시하고자 했다.

  • 동아시아 지역의 대기오염물질의 장거리 이동에 대한 한중일 3국의 모델링의 결과를 비교 분석한 결과, 일본의 경우 한국에서 사용한 모델링의 결과보다 SO$_2$와 SO$_4$ 농도장 모두 과소평가되어 나타남을 볼 수 있었다. 이는 각 나라마다 모델에 적용한 기상장이 다르고, 서로 다른 모델을 사용하였기 때문에 차이가 나는 것으로 판단된다. 추후 중국의 모델링 결과도 함께 분석하여 보다 정확한 모델의 검정을 할 것이며, 황의 침적량에 대한 영향도 분석할 예정이다.

A Method of Character String Segmentation using Histogram Analysis (히스토그램 분석 기반의 인쇄체 문자열 분할 방법)

  • 본 논문에서는 인쇄체 우편주소 영상에서 smearing과 히스토그램 분석을 이용한 고속의 문자열 기울기 보정 및 분할 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법에서는 입력 영상을 가분할 하고, 각각의 가분할 영상에 대한 수평 히스토그램을 분석하여 기울기 측정 및 보정을 수행하였다. 문자열 분할 단계에서는, 기울기가 보정된 영상에 smearing을 수행하고, 영상에 존재하는 잡영 및 각종 바코드를 제거하고, 수평 히스토그램 분석을 통해 최종 문자열 분할 결과를 도출하였다. 제안한 방법을 사용한 실험에서 2,000 장의 테스트 영상 중 1,989장의 영상에서 정확한 문자분할 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며, 제안한 방법이 유효함을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 탑재형 충전기 (OBC)와 저 전압 배터리 충전기 (LDC)의 각 기능에 대해 분석한다. 또한, 두 배터리 충전기를 통합한 OBC-LDC 통합형 회로의 장·단점과 기능에 대해 분석한다. 또한, OBC-LDC 통합형 회로에 대한 두 토폴로지의 장·단점을 비교 분석하고, PSIM을 사용하여 각 토폴로지에 대한 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 회로의 동작 및 성능을 비교 분석한다.

  • This study analyzed the effect of department leadership 's leadership on department performance. The questionnaires were distributed from September 22, 2013 to October 13, 2013 to Daejeon and Chungnam area workers. The results of this study are as follows: First, the leadership of department head has a significant effect on the performance of department. (P <.001, ${\beta}=.613$), and task efficiency was statistically significant (p <.01, p = .270) The results of this study are as follows. Second, the communication ability of department heads showed a significant correlation between the department work efficiency and p <.01 significance level. In other words, it was confirmed that there was a positive correlation between department manager's communication ability and initiative' s achievement. The purpose of this study is to identify the importance of individual, organizational, and environmental factors by analyzing the influence of department leadership's leadership on departmental performance, and to investigate the differences according to individual characteristics of workers.

  • In functional materials, in situ experimental techniques as a function of external stimulus (e.g., electric field, magnetic field, light, etc.) or changes in ambient environments (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) are highly essential for analyzing how the physical properties of target materials are activated/evolved by the given stimulation. In particular, in situ electric-field-dependent X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements have been extensively utilized for understanding the underlying mechanisms of the emerging electromechanical responses to external electric field in various ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and electrostrictive materials. This tutorial article briefly introduces basic principles/key concepts of in situ electric-field-dependent XRD analysis using a lab-scale XRD machine. We anticipate that the in situ XRD method provides a practical tool to systematically identify/monitor a structural modification of various electromechanical materials driven by applying an external electric field.
