모터내장형 주축의 냉각특성에 관한 연구

  • 최근산업의 발달과 함께 제품의 생산성 및 품질 향상을 위하여 공작기계의 고속화 기술에 대한 연구가 머시닝센터를 중심으로 활발히 진행되고 있다. 공작기계의 고속화에 적합한 주축시스템으로는 모터내장형 주축(Built-in Motor Type Spindle)이 많이 응용되고 있으며, 앞으로더욱 수요가 증대될 것이 예상되어 독일, 일본 등의 선진국에서도 활발히 연구 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 모터발열을 억제하기 위한 냉각방법으로 오일자켓 냉각방식을 채택하여 모터부에 자켓을 설치, 운전함으로써 모터내장형 주축에 대한 오일자켓냉각방식의 냉각특성을 알아보고, 또한 모터부의 오일자켓 냉각과 함께 몇가지 방법으로 공기냉각을 추가하였을 때의 냉각특성을 고찰하여 보다 효율적인 냉각방법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the main program and pre/post processor for the geometric and plastic non-linear analysis of steel jacket structures subjected to wave and earthquake loadings. In this paper, steel jackets are modelled using geometric non-linear space frames and wave loadings re evaluated based on Morrison equation using the linear Airy theory and the fifth Stokes theory. Random wave is generated using JONSWAP spectrum. For earthquake analysis, dynamic analysis is performed using artificial earthquake time history. Also the plastic hinge method is presented for limit analysis of steel jacket. In the companion paper, the pre/post processor is developed and the numerical examples are presented for linear and non-linear dynamic analysis of steel jackets.

A VLSI Architecture for the Binary Jacket Sequence (이진 자켓 비트열의 VLSI 구조)

  • The jacket matrix is based on the Walsh-Hadamard matrix and an extension of it. While elements of the Walsh-Hadamard matrix are +1, or -1, those of the Jacket matrix are ${\pm}$1 and ${\pm}$$\omega$, which is $\omega$, which is ${\pm}$j and ${\pm}$2$\sub$n/. This matrix has weights in the center part of the matrix and its size is 1/4 of Hadamard matrix, and it has also two parts, sigh and weight. In this paper, instead of the conventional Jacket matrix where the weight is imposed by force, a simple Jacket sequence generation method is proposed. The Jacket sequence is generated by AND and Exclusive-OR operations between the binary indices bits of row and those of column. The weight is imposed on the element by when the product of each Exclusive-OR operations of significant upper two binary index bits of a row and column is 1. Each part of the Jacket matrix can be represented by jacket sequence using row and column binary index bits. Using Distributed Arithmetic (DA), we present a VLSI architecture of the Fast Jacket transform is presented. The Jacket matrix is able to be applied to cryptography, the information theory and complex spreading jacket QPSK modulation for WCDMA.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속 리버스 자켓 역변환(inverse fast Reverse Jacket transform, 간략히 IFRJT)을 제안하며 이방법은 역변환을 explicit 하게 표현한다. 이 알고리즘의 장점은 중앙가중치 하다마드 변환보다 더 빠르고 쉽게 주어진 행렬의 역을 구한다는 점이다. 우리는 얼마나 간단히 IFRJT를 얻을 수 있는지를 예제를 통해 보여준다.

Damage Detection in Jacket-Type Offshore Structures From Few Mode Shapes (소수의 모드형상을 이용한 자켓형 해양구조물의 손상추정에 대한 연구)

  • An algorithm to locate and estimate severity of damage in jacket-type offshore structures for which modal responses are availabit' for very few vibrational modes is presented. First, a theory of damage locaization and severity estimation(which yields information on the location and severity of damage directly from changes in mode shapes) is formulated. Next, the feasibility the damage detection algorithm is demonstrated by using a numerical example of an offshore jacket platform for which only three vibration modes are measured. Form the material presented here, two major results are observed. First, all damage locations in the offshore jacket platform are correctly predicted. Next, predicted damage is relatively correctly estimated.

FLOW-3D Analysis on Scouring around Offshore Wind Foundation (FLOW-3D를 이용한 해상풍력발전기초의 세굴 평가)

  • In order to evaluate the local scour around offsshore wind foundation, mono pile and jacket foundation were simulated by using FLOW-3D. Numerical analysis results show that local increases of velocity around mono pile and jacket foundation was developed but velocity decreases in backward of pile and leg due to the wake vortex was observed. Local increases of velocity around foundation and scouring of jacket is more significant than that of mono pile, since jacket is the complex structure and has the interference effect with legs. Therefore, in order to evaluate the scour and design the scour protection method, the form and shape of substructures of offshore wind should be considered.

  • Wearability, mobility and context awareness distinguish intelligent jackets from other hand-held devices. This research investigated usability elements reflecting those characters of intelligent jackets. In the fist study, we performed the experts' reviews (cognitive walkthrough) with the first version of intelligent jackets. As expected, we found that new categorization of the usability evaluation element was needed for the unique features of intelligent jackets. In the second study, we carried out group interviews (structured interviews) to examine user needs, attitudes and important factors for using intelligent jackets. In this study, user groups were divided into early adaptors and laggards on the basis of their challenge and attitude toward the new technology From these interviews, we found that the early adapters accepted the intelligent jacket as a computer system and they considered functional elements as important factors. However, the laggards thought the intelligent jacket as a wear, and they regarded the external design and psychological burden as important factors.

  • 본 논문은 해양구조물 중 특히 자켓이 부선에 설치되어 운송되는 시스템에 대한 개선된 해상 운송 해석에 대한 고찰이다. 해석 방법의 개선은 파력에 의해 발생되는 부선 운동에 따른 관성력의 추계적 처리에 기본을 두어 얻어지고 있다. 이 방법은 소위 말하는 강체 부선 방법과 연체 부선 방법의 중간적이라고 할 수 있으며, 두가지 방법의 단점을 보완하였다. 전형적인 자켓-부선 시스템에 대하여 유한요소법을 이용하여 모델링한 후 본 해석 방법을 적용하여 해상운송 해석을 수행하였으며, 자켓-부선간 반력을 구하여 기존의 방법과 비교 검토하였다. 본 방법은 현실적이고 효과적임이 증명되었다.

  • 4-점 리버스 자켓 변환 (4-Point Reverse Jacket transform)의 장점 중의 하나는 4-점 fast Fourier transform(FFT)시 야기되는 실수 또는 복소수 곱셈을 행렬분해(matrix decomposition)를 이용, 곱셈인자를 모두 대각행렬에만 집중시킨, 매우 간결하고 효율적인 알고리즘이라는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 이를 N 점 FFT에 적용하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 방법은 기존의 다른 변환형태보다 확장하거나 구조를 파악하기에 매우 용이하다.
