Influence of Stress, Self Factor and Emotional Factor on Smartphone Addiction Level among College Students (일부 대학생의 스트레스, 자아요인 및 정서요인이 스마트폰중독정도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the relevance of stress, self factor and emotional factor, and the influence on Smartphone Addiction Level among college students. The survey was administered to 261 college students in J city from December 16th to 23rd, 2016. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that the factors with explanatory powers of 52% on Smartphone Addiction Level included physical activity changes, sleep disorders, the self control about self factors, the impulsion of emotional factors. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm the relationship among the four factors such as stress, self factor, emotional factor and Smartphone Addiction Level. The results of the study indicate that the efforts to manage stress, self factors and emotional factors, are required to reduce the Smartphone Addiction Level of the college students. The results are expected to be useful for the development of programs and policy to decrease the Smartphone Addiction Level. In the following study, structural equation modeling about additional factors, which influences on Smartphone Addiction Level, will be needed.

A Converged Study on the Influence on the Suicide of Idea the Elderly Living Alone. (독거노인의 자살생각 영향 요인에 대한 융합연구)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the factor of suicide ideation in the elderly living alone. This study is a descriptive research study of 175 elderly living alone in K&C region. It is a frequency analysis, correlation analysis, simple rare analysis. AMOS statistics were performed. Data collection was from January 2017 to March 2017. The results of this study are as follows. social activity (r=-.106, p<.05), subjective health status (r=-.292, p<.01) Self-esteem (r=-.069, p<.05), mind control(r=-.201, p<.01), and depression(r=.023, p<.01), stress (r=.320, p<.05). Suicidal influence factor 43.5% explanatory power. In order to prevent the suicide of the elderly living alone, It will be necessary to seek active nursing intervention to help prevent suicide.

Factors Related to Occupational Stress among Hospital Administrative Staff (병원 행정직의 직무스트레스와 관련된 요인)

  • This study is performed to determine factors related to occupational stress among some hospital administrative staff. It surveyed 189 staff working in Jeonbuk area during the period from June 1st to July 31th, 2014. The structured self-administered questionaires were delivered and they were collected without respondents' personal information. The results of multiple regression analysis show the followings. The occupational stress of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group of female, a group that the type A behavior pattern is higher, a group that chance locus of control is higher, a group that external locus of control is lower, a group of the lower self esteem, a group of higher psycho-social stress, and a group of higher depression. Their explanatory power was 55.8%. In conclusion, the results of the study indicate that the efforts, to manage the type A behavior pattern and belief of control, to increase self esteem, and to decrease psycho-social stress and depression level, are required to reduce the occupational stress of the hospital administrative staff.

  • A project-learning model of web-based self-directed (WBSD) was applied to teach a theme of 'weather and climate' to high school students in four classes of the 11th grade. Results showed that the WBSD model was overall effective in improving learning ability, self-consciousness, and attitude toward school. Specifically, the results of WBSD instructions reported that there was a significant difference in 7 variables of learning ability except for action control, 3 variables of self-consciousness, and 2 variables of school attitude when compared with those of traditional instructions. In addition, the project-learning model of WBSD presented the positive effect to all leaners at any level in self-directed learning.

Mediated effects of Hope on the Relationship between Ego-resilience and Independent Will of Adolescents in Residential Cares (시설청소년의 자아탄력성과 자립의지의 관계에서 희망의 매개효과)

  • This study was carried out to verify the mediated effect of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will of adolescents in residential cares. The data were collected from adolescents living in residential cares purposely selected in Chungnam province, Seoul and Incheon. Firstly, the result showed the significantly positive relationship among independent will, ego-resilience, and hope. Secondly, ego-resilience and hope of adolescents in residential cares significantly influenced independent will. Thirdly, the result also proved the mediated effects of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will.

Understanding of Resilience and Its Application through Small Group Activities in Christian Universities (자아탄력성의 이해와 기독교대학에서의 소그룹 활동을 통한 적용)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the correlation between elements of resilience and small group activities in the university, and to explore small group activities as a protective and a positive factor in controlling the stress of college students. As the first part of the study, positive roles of resilience to the stress of college students and the elements that promote the efficiency of resilience are analyzed. The study precedent in detail and four elements of resilience are presented as following; optimistic realism, vitality, ability to control emotion, and interpersonal ability, addressing the faith in God is one of the strong positive factors for developing resilience. Then, this study deals with how the four elements of resilience relates to the characteristics of small group activities. In conclusion, this study suggests Christian universities to develop small group activities because they can develop each of the four elements of resilience of college students. Christian universities have a missional duty and the responsibility to help college students experience real happiness in their lives. Therefore, if Christian universities understand the effectiveness of resilience of college students and find out the correlation between resilience and faith, they can help students not only to live a positive life in their generation, but also to experience the authentic happiness.

The Influence of Ego-resilience and Psychological Well-being on Job Stress of Childcare Teachers (보육교사의 자아탄력성과 심리적 안녕감이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the influence of ego-resilience and psychological well-being on job stress in childcare teachers. The participants were 192 childcare teachers in Seoul and Daejeon Metropolitan City. The research instruments were Ego-Resilience by Park(1996), Psychological well-being by Kim(2008), and Job Stress by Hong(2009). Collected data were analysed by descriptive statistics(frequency analysis, mean, & standard deviation) and multiple regression, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability by SPSS PC program. The results were as follows: First, Childcare teachers' perceived ego-resilience was higher than average. Childcare teachers' perceived psychological well-being was higher than average. Childcare teachers' perceived job stress was lower than average. Second, Childcare teachers' perceived ego-resilience and psychological well-being was having significant influences on childcare teachers' perceived job stress. Optimistic thinking and anger control among sub-factors of childcare teachers' perceived ego-resilience and environmental mastery among sub-factors of childcare teachers' perceived psychological well-being explained 46% of variance in childcare teachers' perceived job stress. These results provide informations for reducing job stress in childcare teacher and suggest the basis of an education program for childcare teacher.

Factors Affecting Suicidal Ideation in Psychiatric Inpatients (입원정신질환자의 자살사고에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting suicidal ideation in psychiatric inpatients. A total of 186 psychiatric inpatients participated in the study. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS WIN 18.0. Suicidal ideation showed significant differences according to marital status, diagnosis, and previous suicide attempt history. There were significant correlations among depression, self-esteem, spirituality and suicidal ideation. Depression and spirituality were identified as predictors affecting suicidal ideation. The regression model explained 52.4% of suicidal ideation. As a result, intervention program for decreasing depression and improving spirituality is essential to decrease suicidal ideation in psychiatric inpatients.

The Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Ego-Identity with Psychological Well-Being of The Office Workers (직장인의 직무만족과 자아정체감 및 심리적 안녕감과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between job satisfaction and ego-identity with psychological well-being, and it will provide a basic information for The Office workers' psychological counseling through this research. To verify it, each level of job satisfaction, ego-identity, and psychological well-being has been measured from 264 office workers in Seoul, Gyunggi, and Incheon, and correlation analysis, regression analysis using SPSS 12.0 has been done. The result of this research is as follows. First, job satisfaction had shown slightly higher correlation with positive relationship with others of psychological well-being and objective orientation of ego-identity, and all the variables of ego-identity except for initiatives had shown a static correlation with psychological well-being. Second, job satisfaction had exercised influence over Positive relation with others, self-acceptance, purpose in life and personal growth but not over autonomy and environmental mastery. Third, initiatives among the sub-ordinate variables of ego-identity had exercised a negative influence over Positive relation with others among the sub-ordinate variables of psychological well-being. Fourth, objective orientation among the sub-ordinate variables of ego-identity had exercised a static influence over job satisfaction but identity confusion had exercised a negative impact. Fifth, as a result of observing an impact job satisfaction and ego-identity had exercised over psychological well-being, it had shown a high impact in general and in particular, purpose in life among the sub-ordinate variables was valued highly. Through these results, it could be expected that job satisfaction and ego-identity would be influenced to increase their objective orientation.

The effect of Self-sufficiency Project on Participants' Self-reliance and Satisfaction -Focusing on Self-sufficiency Participants in Ulsan Metropolitan City- (자활사업이 참여자의 자립의지 및 만족도에 미치는 영향 -울산광역시 자활참여자 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact on self-reliance and satisfaction of participants participating in the self-sufficiency business program of the Ulsan Metropolitan Regional Self-Sufficiency Center. A self-filled questionnaire was surveyed on self-sufficiency participants in five Borough and Country in Ulsan for 4 weeks from September 1 to 30, 2020, and final 233 copies were used in the actual analysis. As a result of the study, first, the percentage of positive responses of the participants was found to be good at 71.7%, for questions on the degree of support to the government, local governments, and administrative welfare centers. Second, in response to a system or service that would like to be supported or needed in the future, support for living expenses and support for health and medical expenses appeared and as a result of gender difference analysis, it was confirmed that there was a significant difference between support for children's education expenses and support for housing funds. Among the factors of the participant's psychological self-reliance(self-control, confidence, and willingness to work), the factor of self-control was the most significant factor, followed by confidence and willingness to work. Overall satisfaction with work was the highest among 9 satisfaction items such as salary and working hours.
