Mediated effects of Hope on the Relationship between Ego-resilience and Independent Will of Adolescents in Residential Cares

Abstract
This study was carried out to verify the mediated effect of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will of adolescents in residential cares. The data were collected from adolescents living in residential cares purposely selected in Chungnam province, Seoul and Incheon. Firstly, the result showed the significantly positive relationship among independent will, ego-resilience, and hope. Secondly, ego-resilience and hope of adolescents in residential cares significantly influenced independent will. Thirdly, the result also proved the mediated effects of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will.
