The Study of Scattering Dust and Radiation Dose in Pedestrian Tunnels in Metropolitan Area (수도권 보행터널 내부에 존재하는 비산 먼지와 방사선량의 연구)

  • In the present, external environmental factors affect human health. In particular, the most important issue is fine dust in these days. Because fine dust is inhaled through the human respiratory system is known to be harmful to health. Tunnels for cars and people can also be easily seen around us. This study, the amount of scattering radiation was measured for walkable tunnels about dust. For the measurement method, dust and radiation dose in the tunnel were measured on good weather (fine dust level: 0 ~ 30 ㎍/㎥) and normal day (fine dust level: 0 ~ 80 ㎍/㎥). The measurement resulted in an increase of 10~20 % of dust in the center of the tunnel on a good weather day and an increase of 20~30 % of dust in the center of the tunnel on normal weather. On the other hand, the results of tunnel measurement of radiation dose increased by 10~20 % at the center of the tunnel non-depending on the weather. As a result, pedestrians should pay attention to scattering dust and scattered radiation while moving through the tunnel. Therefore, it is recommended to wear a filter mask of PM2.5 or less during frequent tunnel walking.

Humidification of Air Using Water Injector and Cyclonic Separator (관 내 삽입 인젝터와 사이클론을 이용한 공기 가습)

  • Humidification of PEM fuel cells is necessary for enhancing their performance and lifetime. In this study, a humidification system was designed and tested; the system includes an air-supply tube (inner diameter: 75 mm) through which a nozzle can be directly inserted and a cyclonic separator for the removal of water droplets. Three types of nozzles were employed to study the influence of injection pressure, air flow rate, and spray direction on the humidification performance. To evaluate the humidification performance, the concept of humidification efficiency was defined. In the absence of an external heat source, latent heat for evaporation will be supplied by the own enthalpies of water and air. Thus, the amount of water sprayed from the nozzle is the most critical factor affecting the humidification efficiency. Water droplets were efficiently removed by a cyclonic separator, but re-entrainment occurred at high air flow rates. The absolute humidity and humidification efficiency were $21.29\;kJ/kg_{da}$ and 86.57%, respectively, under the following conditions: nozzle type PJ24; spray direction angle $90^{\circ}$; injection pressure 1200 kPa; air flow rate 6000 Nlpm.

  • 이제 카트 정렬과 휠 셋업에 필요한 최적의 변수들을 알아보았다. 실제 세팅은 위에서 언급한 내용 이외에도 많은 것들을 고려하여야 한다. 타이어 접지력의 세팅은 경기장, 날씨, 제품의 불 균일성 등을 고려하여 야 한다. 즉, 어떤 경기장은 코너의 반경이 다른 경기 장 보다 크며 어떤 경기장은 코너가 매우 많기도 하여 세팅을 상황에 맞게 하여야 하는 것이다. 각각의 변수를 세팅할 경우는 중간 값을 취하는 것이 바람직하여 이 중간 값을 취하는 것이 바람직하며 이 중간 값을 각각의 경기장의 특성에 맞추어 변화시키면 되는 것이다. 예를 들면, 접지력이 작게 발생되는 경기장(혹은 매우 추운날씨) 에서는 캐스터를 코기 하여 초기 회전 발생이 용이하게 할 수도 있다. 또한 토우인 값을 크게 하여 타이어가 마찰을 더욱 많이 발생하여 타이어의 온도가 급격히 상승하여 원하는 접지력의 수준에 용이하게 도달할 수 있게 하는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 세팅은 다른 핸들링 문제를 야기할 수 있다는 것을 이해하여야 하며 이러한 문제를 해결하는 또 다른 노력이 필요하게 되는 것이다. 가장 중요한 것은 후륜 내측으로부터는 조종 성능을 향상시키는데 필요한 접지력을 거의 기대하지 못한다는 것이며 마찰이 적게 발생하여 손쉽게 동력 손실을 초래하고 있다는 것이다. 그러므로 회전을 할 경우에도 속도를 낮추어서는 안되며 이렇게 하이야 핸들링이 매우 용이하게 되는 것이다. 그러나 위의 설명에서도 보았듯이 일부 세팅을 변경하면 여러 곳이 그 효과가 나타난다. 예를 들어 후륜의 간격을 변화시키면 카트에서 무게이동 뿐만 아니라 회전 시에 가속이나 감속에 의한 회전 토크의 효과도 달라지게 된다. 특정한 세팅의 변화가 어떻게 작용할 것이라는 확신을 가지고 있다고 할지라도 세팅에서 가장 중요한 것은 주행 기록이다. 여기서 설명되어진 많은 내용이 주행 기록을 향상시키기를 바라는 바이다.간이 육색과 총육색소 함량에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 관능적 특성평가 중 육색과 육즙참출은 대조구와 비교하여 CLA급여 처리구가 유의적인 차이가 없었으나, 근내지방 축적 정도와 전체적인 기호성은 대조구에 비하여 CLA 급여 처리구가 유의적으로 높은 평가를 받았다(p<0.05). 간격은 술 후 1년 후까지도 지속적으로 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 따라서 이 기간동안에는 추적관찰이 필요한 것으로 생각된다.경미하게 나타났으며, 이는 2% 흥국 첨가식이의 섭취로 인한 bromobenzene 대사 및 유해산소 해독의 촉진에 기인되기 때문일 것으로 생각된다.다.과 및 지질과산화억제효과의 순과 일치하였다. 총 flavonoid 함량은 DPPH 라디칼 제거효과에 대한 $IC_{50}$/ 값과 높은 상관관계(r=-0.9924, p<0.01)를 나타내었다.이 우수한 심근보호 효과를 나타내나, 허혈시간이 2시간을 초과하면 심근의 혈역학적 기능과 미세구조의 변화는 중등도의 저온(22∼24$^{\circ}C$)에서 유의하게 악화되었다. 이 같은 결과로 볼 때 심근 허혈시간이 2시간을 초과한다면 심근 온도를 낮추어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 7.2, with 64.0% of office workers having an average level between 6- and 9. NC 가공을 위한 곡면 모델링에 관한 연구

  • 자동차, 항공기, 선박등과 같은 산업제품과 전화기, TV브라운관과 같은 가전제품, 심미적 기능을 갖는 제품등과 같은 일상용품등은 많은 부분이 자유곡면(sculptured surface)으로 이루어져 있다. 이러한 해석적으로 정의 하기 어려운 제품 또는 그것을 생산하는데필요한 금형을 가공하는데 있어서 기존에는 석고 모형이나 목형을 이용한 모방 절삭을 하였다. 그러나 근래에는 자유곡면으로이루어진 제품을 설계하고 가공하는데 있어서 CAD/CAM system을 이용하고 있다. 제품의 곡면을 표현하거나 이들을 NC가공하기 위해서는 곡면을 나타내는 형상 정보가 필요 하고 이들 형상정보로 곡면모델링을 하여공구 경로를 구한다. 그러므로 이들 형상정보를 허용한도내에서 적절히 정하여 실제형상에 가까운 곡면을 형성하여야 한다. CAD/CAM 기술의 발달에 따라 다양한 형태의 곡면을 형성하는 기능을 가진 system이 많이 출현되었고 점토, 석고 또는 나무등으로 만든 physical model로 부터 얻어진 형상정보에 의해 surface fitting을 함으로서 자유곡면을 표현하는 방법이 많이 사용되고 있다. 어떠한 곡면을 표현할때는 곡면의 특성을 잘 표현하면서 전체적으로 smooth 한 것이 바람직하다. 그러므로 곡면의 형태를 설계자가 쉽게 이해할 수 있고 적은 수의 patch로도 복잡한 형상을 나타내야 하며 또한 국부적으로 수정이 용이하여야한다. 본 논문에서는 자유곡면을 나타낼 수 있는 수학적 표현 방법에 관하여 논하고, 해석적 곡면으로 부터 형상정보를 얻어 곡면 모델링을 한 후의 Ferguson곡면, UBS와 NUBS의 차이점을 분석하고, 이들 곡면과 해석적 곡면으로부터 얻은 실제곡면과의 오차를 측정하여 실제형상에 가까운 모델링 곡면을 찾고자 하였다.. 라. MCl(M:K$^{+}$, $Na^{+}$, NH$_{4}$$^{+}$ 및 H$^{+}$) 수용액 메디움에서의 Cd(II), Mg(II) 및 Zn(II)의 Dowex 1-X8, Cl$^{-}$ 수지에 대한 흡착은 역시 어떤 메디움에서도 Cd(II) 흡착이 제일 크며, 다음이 Zn(II) 이고 착이온을 형성않는 Mg(II)이 제일 작았다. 한편 메디움 종류별 D값의 크기순위는 H$^{+}$>K$^{+}$> $Na^{+}$>NH$_{4}$$^{+}$이였다. 메디움의 종류에 따라 D값의 차이가 나는 것은 금속이온의 착이온 형성과 금속이온의 용액내에서의 이온종의 상태와 관련이 있다고 생각된다. 마. Cadmium and Lead Concentrations in Blood of Solderers among Autoworkers (자동차공장(自動車工場) 근로자중(勤勞者中) 납땜공의 혈중(血中) 카드미움과 연함량(鉛含量)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究))

  • Economic development of Korea brought rapid progress and expansion of her industries. Accordingly, number of workers who have been exposed to hazardous metals are increasing. For better understanding the significance of on the job human metal pollution, a total of 22 solderers among autoworkers and 28 controls among medical students was purposively selected as samples of the study. From their blood, concentrations of cadmium and lead were measured with atomic absorption spectrophotometer, and to compare with statistical indices of controls those of solderers were sumarized as follows. 1. Each frequency distribution of cadmium and lead concentration in blood of solderers was more positively skewed showing non-Gausian distribution. 2. Interindividual variation of lead concentration in blood of solderers was markedly revealed. 3. Each mean of cadmium and lead concentration in blood of solderers was higher than that of controls(Cd;p<0.01, Pb;p<0.01). 4. Relative ratio of cadmium concentration in blood of solderers to that of controls was 1.36 by arithmatic mean and 1.39 by geometric mean. Relative ratio of lead concentration in blood of solderers to that of controls was 1.53 by arithmatic mean and 1.30 by geometric mean. 5. It was shown that concentration of lead is slightly correlated with that of cadmium both in solderers and controls(solderers; p<0.1, controls;p<0.1).

An Illumination-Robust Driver Monitoring System Based on Eyelid Movement Measurement (조명에 강인한 눈꺼풀 움직임 측정기반 운전자 감시 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a new illumination-robust drowsy driver monitoring system with single CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera for intelligent vehicle in the day and night. For this system that is monitoring driver's eyes during a driving, the eye detection and the measure of eyelid movement are the important preprocesses. Therefore, we propose efficient illumination compensation algorithm to improve the performance of eye detection and also eyelid movement measuring method for efficient drowsy detection in various illumination. For real-time application, Cascaded SVM (Cascaded Support Vector Machine) is applied as an efficient eye verification method in this system. Furthermore, in order to estimate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we collect video data about drivers under various illuminations in the day and night. Finally, we acquired average eye detection rate of over 98% about these own data, and PERCLOS(The percentage of eye-closed time during a period) are represented as drowsy detection results of the proposed system for the collected video data.

  • The emergence of the fourth industrial revolution is rapidly changing the conventional society and the industry, eroding the boundaries among the technology, culture, and finance. In the mobility industry, as the engineering-based industry converges with the information technology, the mobile space is changing from mobility or safety-centric space into space where the passengers can consume infotainment or contents services. The contents evaluation of the future mobility is conducted in terms of usability or technology acceptance aspect, but according to the trend analysis, the mobility industries, such as vehicle OEMs, it is necessary to evaluate the emotional or sensibility factors for the development of their future mobile space design. Herein, this research study evaluates which sensibility factor should be evaluated in priority to develop the contents interaction in the future mobile space. Thus, using Patrick Jordan's Four Pleasure Model, the priority evaluation has been conducted among 116 Korean drivers. As a result of the statistical analysis and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), it has been found that first, it is necessary to evaluate psychological, ideological, social and physical sensibility in the respective order, and second, it is necessary to evaluate based on the contents user type.

Who Should Live? Autonomous Vehicles and Moral Decision-Making (자율주행차와 윤리적 의사결정: 누가 사는 것이 더 합당한가?)

  • The reduction of traffic accidents is a primary potential benefit of autonomous vehicles (AVs). However, the prevalence of AVs also arouses a key question: to what extent should a human wrest control back from AVs? Specifically, in an unavoidable situation of emergency, should an AV be able to decide between the safety of its own passengers and endangered pedestrians? Should AV programming include well-accepted decision rules about actionsto take in hypothetical situations? The current study (N = 103) examined individual/situational variables that could perform critical decision-making roles in AV related traffic accidents. The individual variable of attitudes toward AVs was assessed using the Self-driving Car Acceptance Scale. To investigate situational influences on decisional processes, the study's participants were assigned to one of two groups: the achievement value was activated in one group and the benevolence value was triggered in the other through the use of a sentence completion task. Thereafter, participants were required to indicate who should be protected from injury: the passengers of the concerned AV, or endangered pedestrians. Participants were also asked to record the extent to which they intended to buy an AV programmed to decide in favor of the greater good according to Utilitarian principles. The results suggested that participants in the "achievement value: driver perspective" groupexpressed the lowest willingness to sacrifice themselves to save several pedestrians in an unavoidable traffic accident. This group of participants was also the most reluctant to buy an AV programmed with utilitarian rules, even though there were significant positive relationships between members' acceptance of AVs and their expressed intention to purchase one. These findings highlight the role of the decisional processes involved in the "achievement value" pertaining to AVs. The paper finally records the limitations of the present study and suggests directions for future research.

The Effects of Diesel Exhaust Particulates and Particulate Matters on the Airway Remodeling in the Asthma-induced Mice (디젤분진 및 미세분진이 천식마우스에서 기도 재구성에 미치는 효과)

  • This research investigated whether exposure of diesel exhaust particulate (DEP) and particulate matter (PM) effects on airway remodeling in asthma induced Balb/c and IL-10 knock out (KO) mouse. Mice were sensitized with intraperitoneal injection with ovalbumin, followed by challenges with intranasal ovalbumin. After that mice placed in inhalation chamber and exposed to DEP and $PM(10\;mg/m^3)$. The evidence of airway remodeling was assessed by masson's trichrome staining and PAS staining. The stainability of masson's trichrome and PAS reaction were increased in asthma-induced Baltic mice groups compared with control mice groups. More intensive stainability for masson's trichrome and PAS were appeared in the asthma-induced DEP and PM-exposed groups than asthama-induced groups. But, not significantly increased subepithelial fibrosis and the nember of goblet cell hyperplasia in asthma-induced IL-10 KO mice groups and asthma-induced+DEP and PM-exposed IL-10 KO mice than IL-10 KO mice groups. These results indirectly suggesting that exposure to DEP and PM in asthmatic patients might be aggravate clinical symptoms and IL-10 which seems to play a central role in allergic asthma. In conclusion, DEP and PM exposure might have additive effects on the ovalbumin- induced asthma in a murine model.

Digital Data Communication System for Mobile Network System Using CC1020 Chip (CC1020 Chip을 사용한 모바일 네트워크를 위한 디지털 데이터 통신 시스템)

  • Digital communication is important for reliability and mobilization of the multi-channel communication systems. Transmitting and receiving data for the mobilization should be possible in anywhere and in anytime. And this system must be designed light weight small size and low power. One are essential technology for implementing the mobile wireless communication system on the age of ubiquotos. Requirements in constructing such communication field are followings. At first data transmitting and receiving should be carried out by a simple command. Second, the device should be designed as hand-hold type and low power consumption. Third, data communication should be reliable. As one of examples, car to car system which is popular in the market is introduced here, All traffic information in highway is transmitted from one car to another by using this system which can prevent possible traffic accident. This paper shows the design of a digital data communication system with CC1020 chip. This CC1020 makes easy frequency selection and easy switch from the transmit mode to the receive mode by simple setting of a memory register in the chip. The transmit power of this system is designed 10dBm and its communication range is about 100m. The power supplied this system is 3V considered as low power. The sleep mode can be easily entered during transmit mode or receive mode. We shows the program algorithm of CC1020 and interface circuit between MCU and CC1020. We shows the Photo of the CC1020 Module and Atmega128 Module.. We analysed the receiver rate with this system.
