The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of tax officials' perceived self-leadership on their empowerment and organization commitment, improve the effectiveness of human resource management of tax organizations, and provide measures for effective organization management. The study results show that the more their self-leadership improves, the more their empowerment improves. Firstly, the reason why their self-leadership has a positive influence on empowerment is that they set their own purpose about their task by themselves, make efforts to achieve the goals, and do their job with optimistic and constructive attitude. Secondly, the study results that their empowerment has a positive influence on organization commitment show that organizational members with high-level empowerment attach significance to their work and it makes their organization commitment high. To maximize organization performance, tax officials should recognize their work's value, meaning, and importance by himself, be equipped with sufficient knowledge for their work, apply their leverage and control in their job, have their self-determination, and improve their organization commitment.
The study examined the longitudinal relations of preschool children's peer interaction, linguistic and cognitive abilities, and self-control, while taking into account gender differences. The study was conducted with 671 preschoolers from the $5^{th}$, $6^{th}$, and $7^{th}$ wave of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Study (KCYPS). Data were analyzed by means of basic descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and structural equation modeling analysis. Bootstrapping method was also used to determine the significance of indirect effects. The analysis were conducted to find the longitudinal effects of peer interaction at the age of 4 on their self-control at the age of 6, and the mediating effects of linguistics and cognitive abilities at the age of 5 on its associations. The results indicated gender differences among the variables. According to multi-group analysis, there was a significant influence of 4 years' peer interaction on subsequent 5 years' linguistic and cognitive abilities but also on 6 years' self-control across time for boys; however, no significant direct effect of peer interaction on self-control was found for girls. Based on the findings of this study, it can be implied that it is necessary to apply different methods for boys and girls to promote self-control from the influence of peer interaction and linguistic and cognitive abilities.
The purpose of this article is to find out and analyze the diverse factors that are incurring stress to the railway drivers, and to depict the moderating effects of personality factors(Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and Organization-Based Self Esteem) on the causal relationship between job stressors and job satisfaction in two groups(drivers who experienced accidents and drivers who did not). To attain this purpose, the 212 questionnaires received from the drivers of KORAIL, Seoul Metro, and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit. Most crucial finding was that certain aspects of a driver's personalities measured by locus of control, self-efficacy, and organization-based self esteem showed significant moderating effects in predicting the level of job satisfaction, job stress and accidents. This result implies that the drastic testing of personality factors is so important when staffing drivers in the future.

This study concentrates on the exploratory study about self-leadership securing autonomy and self-determination of the job performance for the employees of social welfare facilities like that the members set the goal of their jobs and solve the problems by themselves without exterior one-way interruption and control. For this purpose, this study set up the analysis model and hypothesis that the efficiency of the members' job performance can be promoted since the increasing self-leadership(behavior-focused strategies, natural-reward strategies, contractive thought pattern strategies) of the employees of social welfare facilities has a positive effect on empowerment and job satisfaction. Therefore, this study has significance in the aspect that it provides political suggestion for promoting the efficiency of human resource management by investigating the relationship between self-leadership and empowerment and job satisfaction through empirical analysis.
This study is designed to examine the influence of emotional labor on the happiness in workplace related with the atmosphere at their working place in the clinical nurses. Data were collected by questionaires from 312 clinical nurses who work in the general hospital in the city "J". In results, emotional labor was related significantly negative correlation with happiness in workplace. Individual differences explained 7.7% of the happiness in workplace and emotional labor explained additional 8.9% of the happiness with control of the individual differences of hierachycal regression, so that the explanatory power of this study was 16.6% (F=6.150, p<.001). According to these data it is necessary to change the employers recognition on the emotional labor of the nurses and to develop the programs which assist and manage the emotional labor of the clinical nurses, in terms of the human network in their working place.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting e-learning usage intention of university students who have no prior e-learning experience. To address this issue, the study was carried out in two stages on university students at Y and K universities of Gyeongbuk province. After conducting the first survey, we constructed the measurement items and conducted the second survey on the factors that influence the learner's intention to use as the basic theory based on the results of the survey and the interviews with the experts. The result shows, first, due to the autonomy, the biggest advantage for e-learning, students' self-control decreases which affects e-learning fault. Second, university students use e-learning because of its convenience, ease of use and usefulness. However, convenience of learning space found to be useful in using e-learning, but it does not affect their actual intention to use e-learning. The result of this study can be used as basic data for the implementation of e-learning within the university and enhancing the individuals' learning effectiveness.
Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate perception of good death among the community-dwelling elderly and identify factors related to the perception. Methods: A questionnaire survey was carried out using a convenient sampling method (N=317). Data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Participants scored an average of 3.35 on a 4-point scale for the perception level of good death. They scored higher on the factor of personal control that other factors affecting the perception. Good death was positively correlated with family support (r=0.252). Family support (${\beta}$=0.287) and gender (${\beta}$=0.197) significantly influenced the elderly's perception of good death. These variables accounted for 10.2% of the total variance. Conclusion: The results show that family support is an important factor for the perception of good death among the elderly. Therefore, family support should be carefully considered to ensure good death for more senior citizens. Our findings can be utilized to support programs such as death education for the elderly.

Currently Korea encourages gifted high schoolers and junior high schoolers to participate in international achievement contests such as International Olympiads. Participants for these contests are selected nationwide among gifted students in areas of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and others. They go through a series of screening tests and programs. One of the screening processes IS Korean Olympiad School, which provides study programs each summer for student-candidates prior to following year's International Olympiads. Approximately 40 students of high schools and junior high schools, in each subject of study, gather at Korean Olympiad Summer School, and they go through intensive study programs during a short period of time. Out of 40 candidates,' less than 10 students are finally selected to participate in International Olympiads. In this study, a psycho-educational program called "Situation Coping Training Program" was developed to enhance ahievement motivation for these student-candidates. This study was to see if this training program actually improved their cognitive, emotive motivation factors, and to see how this training program affected their achievement level. Training was administered for five days. This training program was found effective for participants to increase self-efficacy, internal locus of control, and anxiety copmg. These cognitive and emotive motivation factors, other than intelligence, were found to have positive relationship with achievement level, of which self-efficacy and attribution style of students were found as two best predictors of achievement. This training program was perceived as necessary. by participants, and helpful for recovering self-confidence and self-control as well as coping pressure. Suggestions were made that this kind of training program be administered as a regular curriculum in preparative study programs such as Korean Olympiads, since cognitive, emotive motivation factors are related with achievement, and furthermore, be utilized in all gifted education programs in Korea. in Korea.

This study surveyed 503 adults to examine the effect of gaming disorder classification, recently announced by World Health Organization(WHO), when it is applied to Korean game market. Considering the difference in respondents' background knowledge on gaming disorder, half of the respondents were randomly assigned to read an informative news article describing WHO's decision and its expected effect on domestic game industry. Based on previous literature of gaming disorder, we categorized respondents into a normal-use group and a potentially problematic-use group. As a result of analyses, it was found that the gaming disorder classification would yield overall reduction of game-related consumption in terms of gaming time(24%), game cost(28%), the number of games(22%), etc. The potentially problematic group showed higher willingness to pay for gaming than the normal group did, even if the game cost presumably increases due to the gaming disorder classification. A similar outcome was observed in those with high stress levels. This implies that the policy to solve game addiction problems may ironically lead to unexpected cost increases to the target group of the policy. Hence, problematic groups, especially, highly stressful people and the people with the lack of self-control, need to be considered when the gaming disorder classification policy is established. Furthermore, the informative news article had the preventive effect on the attitude and the intention of the people with moderate or high self-control capacity, but not to the people with gaming-additive tendencies, Again, this finding confirms the necessity of the tweezers policy to refine target groups by their characteristics and prepare for differentiated policies. When the gaming disorder classification is simply adopted with no consideration of domestic circumstances, irreversible loss could affect Korean game users, game industries, and related companies. This calls for urgent cooperation between academia, government, and industry to set up appropriate measures to deal with the gaming disorder classification.
Purpose - Economic status at an early stage of life after one's retirement is often determined by the long-term sacrifice of one's earlier consumption tendencies. In general, the first and foremost way to secure income after retirement is through annuity savings. People sign up for personal annuity savings in order to guarantee a stable economic life upon retirement, and such actions may be heavily influenced by self-efficacy. Confidence in current economic activity is a source of rational decision-making. Inability to achieve self-control can lead to reckless spending and the eventual hindering of proper investment for the future. This paper examines how self-efficacy and self-control affect the intention and action of enrolling in an annuity savings plan in relation to one's level of financial literacy. Research design, data, and methodology - To analyze the proposed model, this study investigates financial consumers over the age of 20. The data were collected from 511 respondents and analyzed with SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. First, for the one-dimensional test and to measure the convergent validity of each structure, we use the scale purification process. The results of the test and the confirmatory factor analysis ensure the focus of the validity of the single dimension for each structure. In addition, the validity of the measurement was guaranteed from the results of correlation analysis. Results - First, self-efficacy and self-control have positive effects on the purchasing intention of the personal annuity savings plan. Second, purchasing intention positively affects purchasing behavior. Lastly, self-control has a positive effect on purchasing intention among the low financial literacy group, whereas self-efficacy does not have this effect in the high financial literacy one. Conclusions - The time of product benefit is different with age. The younger group would be granted the savings after several decades once they enroll, whereas the older group would wait for a relatively shorter period of time. Therefore, further research should be conducted in order to verify such a difference. However, this study has value through its confirmation that the roles of self-efficacy and self-control play a part in leading to the enrollment in annuity savings plans and by verifying different effects based on levels of financial literacy. Such results suggest a number of implications in a real life setting. First, banks need to put greater emphasis on the stability of annuity savings in general. Second, customers with relatively low levels of financial literacy are able to control their finances through annuity savings, but find self-efficacy difficult due to a lack of financial understanding. Therefore, such customers should be approached from an invest-effectiveness comparison method. Third, customers with high financial literacy tend to put more value in rational economic decision-making and behavior than in self-efficacy. Therefore, such customers should be approached by promoting the reliability of annuity savings and the excellence of the specific bank's annuity savings plan in comparison to those of other financial institutions.
