The Novice Teacher's Perception of Good College Instructional Practice in the Industrial Teacher Education (공업교원양성교육에서 좋은 수업에 대한 초임 교사의 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore good college instructional practice in the industrial teacher education in order to improve the quality of instruction. The study that what is the good instructional practice have been relatively more researched on elementary and middle school than colleges. Research methods used in this study were an individual interview and focus group interview. Research results and analyses were three directions in good instructional practice to be in teacher's college, engineering college and teacher's graduate school. Based on the result of the study, some recommendations for future researches were made as follows: First, good instructional practice in teacher's college were to be interested in students and be enthusiastic class and practical training. Second, good instructional practice in engineering colleges were class to be a faithful college program for teaching profession orientation and practical training. Third, good instructional practice in teacher's graduate school were class to allow for an academic standard and subjects of special study of each students.

  • In this paper, the qualification process to target trainees of 200 questionnaires collected 158 call was using the SPSS 18.0 statistical program was statistical results are as follows. First, the demographic characteristics of 158 people a total of 146 people men (92.4%) were 30 and 40 adults. Second, according to gender for women than men showed high satisfaction of sayibeogang. More than a college education group showed a high level of satisfaction. Depending on the marital satisfaction of married people was higher sayibeogang. In addition, cyber-lecture on satisfaction surveys women, highly educated, married, educated in the group were satisfied. 74.5% of total variance, variance, with 88.7 percent reliability was very high reliability. Thus, students' demographic variables, motivation, learning to fit in the field of instructional design and content to support the various efforts will be.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to reveal necessity of orthoptist system in Korea, by comparative analysis between the orthoptist system of developed countries and the present condition in Korean ophthalmic clinics. Methods: Choosing 4 developed countries, we surveyed their education systems, license requirements and process, and service coverage. An inquiry into desirable Korean orthoptist system was added on the basis of the comparative survey. Results: The developed countries have systems in which professional orthoptists, who have got their licenses after official education, do the eye examination under the supervision of ophthalmologists. On the other hand in Korea, a problem is revealed that opticians play a role of eye-examiner in the ophthalmic clinics without any institutional support. Conclusions: The legalistic basis is quite needed in Korea that permit optometry graduates to be eye-examiners in the ophthalmic clinics, by introducing the orthoptist system.

  • Recently, accumulation of technology, transfer, absorption, and commercialization is being significantly recognized as a key factor for sustainable growth of the 21st century global economy. The government established "Technology Transfer and Commercialization Promotion Act" In order that the technology developed at public research institutions can be transferred to the private sector and commercialized; the technology developed in the private sector can be traded and commercialized. Also, the Article 14 of "Technology Transfer and Commercialization Promotion Act" is concerning technology transfer agents' registration, promotion, and support: it introduced the special status system of technology transfer agents and the government registers, manages, and supervises it. In most developed countries, the technology transfer agency is transferred to the private sector and it is referred as a technology transfer agent or technology broker. In the domestic market, despite the introduction of the above special status system and the building a various organization and transfer medium system for boosting the market's revitalization, some problems occurred; because the registration system of a technology transfer agent and legal basis and system about its following-up control fall short. For example, recently technology transfer-related performance exemption has brought the activation of technology transfer agent's registration, but there was the limit of selecting the expert above a certain level. Therefore, some countermeasures for this are urgent, In addition, through a compulsory training completion system before the technology trade agent registration is prepared, a short period of curriculum was not sufficient to provide applicants various specialized knowledge. In this research, it is considered about the reform of technology transfer agent through its comparative study in China and Korea. Some improvements are suggested for expanding the market of technology transfer commercialization, assuring the agents' service and strengthening the competitiveness.

The Case Analysis and It's Implications of Teacher Quality Management System in America (미국의 교원 질 관리체제에 관한 사례분석 및 시사점)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyze American teacher quality management system and provide it's implications. For this, the study analyzed the main traits of American teacher policy, Pennsylvania State University's teacher cultivation system, Pennsylvania State's teacher certification, selection, and recruit system, the master teacher system of New Jersey and New York State. The main results are as the followings. First, American teacher policy is variously operated by state government and school district based on variety and autonomy. Second, for teacher cultivation in American teacher policy, the evaluation on the teacher cultivation program of teacher cultivation institute(mainly university) is strictly administrated. Third, for teacher certification, various tests for gaining teacher certificate are administered and standardized tests are used for the tests. Fourth, for teacher selection and recruit, there is no special test for selection and teacher recruit is done by contract. Fifth, for quality management using excellent teacher, America is administering master teacher that is similar with master teacher system in Korea. Finally, the innovation of teacher cultivation institute by introducing Every Student Succeeds Act(ESSA) is anticipated. Based on these results, the implications for Korean teacher policy were provided.

Professional Certification of Medical Technologists in Korea, Japan, and United States of America (한국, 일본, 미국 임상병리사 전문자격)

  • The names of medical technologist in Korea, Japan, and the United State of America vary depending on the medical system, educational system, and work areas. Conventionally, jobs equal or similar to medical technologist (commonly known as clinical laboratory technologist, medical laboratory technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, and medical laboratory scientist), histotechnologist, cytotechnologist, and genetic technologist. Jobs, such as extracorporeal technologist, medical electrophysiology technologist, and medical sonographer, allow other allied health professionals including medical technologists, to obtain their qualification. The work areas of medical technologists are classified into clinical pathologic technology, pathologic technology, clinical genetics technology, nuclear medicine in vitro technology, and clinical physiologic technology. New titles of Korean specialized medical technologists refer to certification systems, such as CLMJ, CMAJ, ASCP, IAC, ABRET, and ARMDS. Currently, there are eight types of specialized medical technologists under the cooperation of specialized academic societies. They are hematology, transfusionology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, histology, cytology, nuclear medicine. It can be further divided into 20 categories according to the work areas such as mass spectrometry, infection control, Pathologists' Assistant, flow cytometry, HLA, cytogenetics, molecular genetics, cardiopulmonary physiology, neurophysiology (EEG/EMG/PSG/etc.), cardiac sonography, neurosonography (TCD/carotid), and medical device quality manager.

  • It becomes easy to acquire operating qualification of remote control tower crane and illegal retrofits is increased, remote control tower crane models are increasingly being used in smaller construction sites. However, as the problems caused by tower crane operators who have shortages of operating experience grow, safety accidents is increasing and worker is exposed to risk of accident. In this study, the cause of the accident was derived by analyzing the cause of the remote control tower crane accident. And then, the significance of accident causes was analyzed by AHP technique. The result of this study is that tower crane operators and construction workers do not comply with work rules.

  • 국내의 지중케이블 시스템은 1970년대 154kV급 OF케이블이 도입된 이래로 현재까지 345kV급 OF/XLPE 케이블을 이용한 지중송전선로가 운영 중에 있으며, 도심지역의 전력공급을 위해 지중송전선로의 건설비중이 점차 증가하고 있다. 그러나 지중송전 계통에서 고장발생시 사회적 파장이 크고 가공송전선로에 비교할 때 복구에 대단히 많은 시간과 비용이 소요되므로 설비의 안전운전 및 장기신뢰성의 확보가 반드시 필요하다. 따라서 지중송전계통의 현장 조건을 고려한 실증시험장 구축의 필요성이 대두되어, 한국전력공사에서 정부의 인프라구축 지원사업으로 초고압 지중케이블에 대한 국제품질 공신력 확보 및 최적운영기술을 확보하기 위하여 장기 신뢰성 시험이 가능한 설비와 국제적 규모의 실증시험장을 구축하였다. 아울러 2011년 3월에는 ISO/IEC 17025에 따른 국제공인시험기관 자격을 취득하여, 국내외에서 제작되는 초고압 케이블에 대한 국제 공인시험이 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국전력공사 고창전력시험센터 내에 구축된 지중케이블 시험장 및 장기신뢰성 시험설비에 대한 소개와 더불어 국제표준에 따른 공인시험방안과 현재까지 지중케이블 시험장에서 수행된 케이블 시험에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • To foster fire investigation professionals and expand career opportunities for graduates of fire science majors, it is extremely important to expand and reorganize courses which are related to fire investigation. Only 30 percent of universities have fire investigation related courses, and the courses only offer theoretical materials. As a result, it has a great limitation to teach essential knowledge which is required at a fire scene. This study suggests to classify fire investigation-related-courses in to fire investigation course and fire identification course. In addition, the study proposes ways to standardize curricula which enables students to acquire Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI).

  • A nursing department of a university operates the curriculum called, "Introductory Computer Use" with its goal of achieving international certification MOS, which is caused by the result of course analysis and the easiness in getting a job overseas as a nurse. In this paper, we statistically analyze the relation among academic achievement level, task value recognition level, and learning satisfaction by using ICT-based questionnaire and SPSS/WIN 21.0. Finally, we suggest the ways to improve the class-quality and to achieve the class goals required by the course.
