  • This paper is considered with the problem of embedding complete binary trees into 3-dimensional meshes using dimension-ordered routing with primary concern of minimizing link congestion. The authors showed that a complete binary tree with $2^P-1$ nodes can be embedded into a 3-dimensional mesh with optimum size, $2^P$ nodes, if the link congestion is two[14], (More precisely, the link congestion of each dimension is two, two, and one if the dimension-ordered routing is used, and two, one, and one if the dimension-ordered routing is not imposed.) In this paper, we present a scheme to find an embedding of a complete binary tree into a 3-dimensional mesh of size no larger than 1.27 times the optimum with link congestion one while using dimension-ordered routing.

  • In this paper an embedding algorithm based on commute time is implemented by organizing patches according to the graph-based metric, and its performance is analyzed by comparing with the results of principal component analysis embedding. It is usual that the dimensionality reduction be done within some acceptable approximation error. However this paper shows the proposed manifold embedding method generates the intrinsic geometry corresponding to the signal despite severe approximation error, so that it can be applied to the areas such as pattern classification or machine learning.

  • In this paper, we consider the problem of embedding complete binary trees into 3-dimensional meshes. The method of embedding a complete binary tree into 3-dimensional mesh with the link congestion two is considered in [1], and the embedding in [2] shows that a complete binary tree can be embedded into a ,3-dimensional mesh of expansion 1.27. The proposed embedding in this paper shows that a complete binary tree can be embedded into a 3-dimensional mesh of expansion approximately 1.125 with the link congestion one, using the dimensional ordered routing. Such method yields some improved features in terms of minimizing the link congestion or the expansion of embedding comparing to the previous results.

  • 완전 이진트리의 통신형태를 갖는 분활 정복방식의 알고리즘 병렬 컴퓨터에서 실행시킬 때 작업들을 프로세서에 분배하여 처리하게 되는데 이때 통신 링크의 충돌을 줄이는 것이 전체 실행시간을 단축하는 중요한 요소가 된다. 본 논문에서는, 웜홀 라우팅과 양방향 링크를 지원하는 3차원 메쉬로의 완전 이진트리의 임베딩 문제를 다룬다. 이 임베딩 방법은 순위차원 라우팅을 사용하며 링크 충돌이 없는 방법으로 최적의 임베딩 알고리즘이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 피라미드 구조를 정방형 2-차원 메쉬로 임베딩하는 문제를 다룬다. $(4^N-1)$/3개의 정점들로 구성된 높이 N인 피라미드 $P_N$을 대상으로$(N\geq5)$인 경우에 $2^N\times2^N$의 2-차원 메쉬로 신장율 $(5/8){\cdot}2^{N-1}$로 임베딩이 가능한 새로운 임베딩 함수를 제안한다. 이러한 결과는 통일한 조건 하에서 기존의 연구결과보다 신장율 면에서 3/8에 해당하는 개선을 의미한다.

  • 본 논문은 다양한 워드 임베딩 모델(word embedding model)들과 하이퍼 파라미터(hyper parameter)들을 조합하였을 때 특정 영역에 어떠한 성능을 보여주는지에 대한 연구이다. 3 가지의 워드 임베딩 모델인 Word2Vec, FastText, Glove의 차원(dimension)과 윈도우 사이즈(window size), 최소 횟수(min count)를 각기 달리하여 총 36개의 임베딩 벡터(embedding vector)를 만들었다. 각 임베딩 벡터를 Fast and Accurate Dependency Parser 모델에 적용하여 각 모들의 성능을 측정하였다. 모든 모델에서 차원이 높을수록 성능이 개선되었으며, FastText가 대부분의 경우에서 높은 성능을 내는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국어에 최적화된 단어 임베딩을 학습하기 위한 방법을 소개한다. 단어 임베딩이란 각 단어가 분산된 의미를 지니도록 고정된 차원의 벡터공간에 대응 시키는 방법으로, 기계번역, 개체명 인식 등 많은 자연어처리 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국어에 대해 최적의 성능을 낼 수 있는 학습용 말뭉치와 임베딩 모델 및 적합한 하이퍼 파라미터를 실험적으로 찾고 그 결과를 분석한다.

  • A graph embedding problem has been studied for applications of resource allocation and mapping the underlying data structure of a parallel algorithm into the interconnection architecture of massively parallel processing systems. In this paper, we consider the embedding problem of the pyramid into the regular 2-dimensional mesh interconnection network topology. We propose a new embedding function which can embed the pyramid of height N into 2$^{N}$ x2$^{N}$ 2-dimensional mesh with dilation max{2$^{N1}$-2. [3.2$^{N4}$+1)/2, 2$^{N3}$+2. [3.2$^{N4}$+1)/2]}. This means an improvement in the dilation measure from 2$^{N}$ $^1$in the previous result into about (5/8) . 2$^{N1}$ under the same condition.condition.

  • In this paper, we consider a graph-theoretic problem,, the so-called "graph embedding problem" that maps the vertices and edges of the given guest graph model into the corresponding vertices and paths of the host graph under the condition of maintaining better performance parameters such as dilation, congestion, and expansion. We firstly propose a new mapping function which can embed the pyramid model with height N into the 3-dimensional mesh massively parallel processor system with the height $(4^{(N+1)/3}+2)/3$ and the regular 2-dimensional mesh of one side $2^{(2N-1)/3}$, and analyze the performance of the embedding in terms of the dilation parameter that reflects the number of communication steps between two adjacent vertices under the embedding. We prove that the dilation of the embedding is $2{\cdot}4^{(N-2)/3}+4)/3$. This is superior to the previous result of $4^{N+183}+2)/3$ under the same condition.condition.

  • This paper presents a more stable method of multiresolution editing for a triangular mesh. The basic idea of our paper is to embed an editing area of a mesh onto a 2D region and to produce 3D surfaces which interpolate the editing-information. In this paper, we adopt the extended convex combination approach based on the shape-preserving parameterization for the embedding, which guarantees no self-intersection on the 2D embedded mesh. That is, the result of the embedding is stable. Moreover, we adopt the multi-level B-spline approach to generate the surface containing all of 3D editing-information, which can make us control the editing area in several levels. Hence, this method supports interactive editing and thus can produce intuitive editing results.
