The digital impression technique has been developed for more precise restorations and convenient procedures in prosthodontic treatment compared to the conventional impression technique. Along with the utilization of CAD/CAM, the introduction of digital impression technique actualizes the digitalization of dental treatments. This case is to compare two different prostheses introducing each procedure in detail; one from CAD/CAM after taking digital impression and the other from the conventional technique. A 22-year-old female visited the clinic with the chief complaint of correction of discoloration and shape on maxillary right central incisor. Due to the trauma 8 years ago, the tooth was endodontically treated with post and resin core. The treatment was planned and the procedures were conducted under the patient's consent to treat the tooth with all ceramic crowns in two different ways for comparison. In conclusion, both prostheses presented clinically acceptable results with comparing the internal fitness of two all ceramic crowns. The prosthesis from digital impression, however, showed more errors in respect of internal fitness.
This study evaluated the properties of polyvinylsiloxane impression materials: Strain-in-compression, Elastic recovery, Consistency, and Wettability. Four polyvinylsiloxane impression materials(Examixfine, GC, Japan; Aquasilultra, Dentsply, USA; Extrude, Kerr, USA; Perfect-F, Handae, Korea) were used in this study. The measured data were analyzed with SPSSWIN 12.0 program. The results were as follows : 1. The strain-in-compression values showed that Extrude had the lowest value, 4.86% and Examixfine had the highest value, 6.78%. Significant difference between Examixfine and Perfect-F was not found but the other groups had significant differences(p = 0.000). 2. In the elastic recovery test, Extrude had the highest, 99.83% and Perfect-F had the lowest, 96.54%. There is no significant difference between Examixfine and Aquasilultra. The other impression material groups showed significant differences(p = 0.000). 3. The measurement of consistency results that the diameter of Examixfine was the largest, 45.12mm and one of Perfect-F was the smallest, 40.28 mm. No differences were shown between Examixfine and Aquasilultra and between Extrude and Perfect-F(p = 0.001). 4. Aquasilultra had a better hydrophilicity($47.85^{\circ}$) than other materials. Perfect-F had a larger contact angle($94.89^{\circ}$) and was hydrophobic. There were significant differences between groups(p = 0.000). 5. As for correlation among the test types, contact angle correlated with strain-in-compression, elstic recovery and consistency. The strain-in-compression had correlation to contact angle and elastic recovery. The elastic recovery correlated with contact angle and strain-in-compression. And the consistency had correlation to contact angle.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of digitized elastomeric impression materials of crown abutment, using non-contact white light scanner and virtual three-dimensional superimpositional analysis. The stone models and impressions were digitized white light scanner to create three-dimensional surface models. Stone models were used as CAD reference model (CRM). The resulting point clouds (ASC file) from digitization of impressions using converting software. Discrepancies between the points in the point clouds and CRM were measured by superimpositional software. Mean and standard deviation of values of discrepancies were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison (${\alpha}=0.05$). The mean discrepancy between the impressions for the extra-light body (XLB), light body (LB), and heavy body (HB) group were $5.10{\pm}1.45{\mu}m$, $6.30{\pm}1.87{\mu}m$, $9.80{\pm}1.52{\mu}m$, respectively. The different impression materials affected the digitization of impressions significantly (p<0.05). As a result, digitization of elastomeric impression materials on dental scanner was influenced by material sort.

This research aims to discuss the impact of on regional development as a place brand and glocal heritage. Based on understanding of the changes and influences of local heritages in the globalization era as a key component of place branding, this study explores how is used to develop a place branding strategy for Lijiang. The research methods are both a literature review and a field research related to Lijiang and its culture. Also, the resources from news, internet, and YouTube are used to analyze the impact of . The performance has been attracting tourists from both Chineses and foreigners and contributed to increase the economic profits of local tourism industry as one of the representative identities of Lijiang. Also, in the process of preservation and recreation of cultural heritages of Lijiang such as , the participation of local residents and on-going interactions between the residents and global tourists highly influence on a transition from place marketing to place branding. By applying local cultural heritages to place branding strategies, the regional values of Lijiang strengthen its place identity from a place of preserving a minority's heritage to that of flourishing cultural exchanges and hybridization from the world.
The objective of this research was to compare the precision of scanning the digital abutment impression and gypsum model according to 3-dimensional superimposing different skills. There were made with the abutment impression and gypsum model of a maxillary 1st premolar, blue light scanner scanned to obtain the stereolithography (STL) file. After the same process was performed 10 more times without moving them on the scanner table about the abutment impression and gypsum model, respectively (n=11, per types). By superimposing the date of scanning the abutment impression and gypsum model used with no control and best-fit-alignment skills, 10 color-difference maps and root mean square (RMS) data were obtained. The independent t-test was performed to compare RMS data between the each other groups (${\alpha}=0.05$). In the scanning abutment impressions, $RMS{\pm}SD$ of no control, best-fit-alignment showed $6.86{\pm}0.94$, $5.04{\pm}0.24$. in the scanning gypsum model, $4.98{\pm}1.16$, $3.39{\pm}0.07$, all groups showed a significant difference (P<0.001). Trough the this study's result, not only best-fit-alignment but no control is used with digital dental computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) research and clinical part.
Most previous research on impression formation has been examined the effects of various informations exclusively within a category, either social category or individual characteristic. The present research examined and compared the priming effects of social category information (we and other) versus personality information (warm and cold) on impression formation. In Study 1, participants primed subliminally with combinations of social category and personality information (we/warm, we/cold, other/warm, and other/cold) were asked to rate faceial pictures on the good-bad and likable-dislikable dimensions. The analysis revealed only the significant main effects of social category information but not any effects of personality information on both the impression dimensions. In Study 2 in which participants were primed with either social category or personality information exclusively, priming of social category information influenced the judgments of likable-dislikable dimension and that of personality information influenced the judgments of good-bad dimension. These results suggest that personality information influences impression in general even though its impacts may be overwritten by social categorical information. The findings were discussed with its implication of everyday's impression formation and the cultural psychological perspectives.
Based on a concept of soundscape, this study aims to investigate Koreans' preference for auditory elements, features, and impressions depending upon the season, and examine how these auditory factors of soundstape and seasons interact with each other and attempt to discover their influence on people's auditory preferences. According to an environmental psychological approach called the caption evaluation method, 45 college students examined the soundscape of Namwon City while racing the streets in four seasons. In order to analyze the interactions between seasons and such auditory factors as elements, features, and impressions, it was conducted the GLM univariate analysis and the NPAR tests for independent samples. The results of the analyses show that there are interactive effects between seasons and auditory factors like elements, features, and impressions and that the auditory factors have an effect on auditory preference. Moreover, as for seasonal preference for auditory elements, it was found that people prefer natural sound in spring, summer, and fall while they prefer social sound in winter. Concerning seasonal preference for auditory features, people place a focus on the behaviors in spring, summer, and winter while they stress the surroundings in autumn, as for seasonal preference for auditory impressions, they make much of sound characteristics in spring and winter but they value the atmosphere of streets in summer and fall. The results of this study can he utilized as useful data in determining which auditory factors among elements, features, and impressions to take into consideration in a soundscape design.
We estimate the effect of an increase in the minimum wage on employment. In Korea, there is no exogenous variation in the minimum wage across regions or industries. One single minimum wage is applied to every worker in the whole country. In this paper, we exploit arguably exogenous variation in the proportion of workers affected by the minimum wage across worker groups defined by age, sex, education, tenure and establishment size. Using the data from the Survey on Labor Conditions by Type of Employment (SLCTE) from 2006 to 2014, we find that a 1% increase in the minimum wage decreases the full-time equivalent employment by about 0.14%. The effect is heterogeneous across workers; we find the effect is more adverse for female workers, low-educated, younger and older workers, workers with a shorter tenure, and workers in small- and medium-sized establishments.

Flabby ridges adversely affect the stability of complete dentures. For the management it is suggested that soft tissues reconditioned before making definitive dentures, and modified impression techniques used for the flabby ridges. Also, correct record of centric relation is important in complete dentures. This case of 67-year-old edentulous female patient had atrophied ridges on the mandible and the flabby ridge on the maxilla. Treatment dentures were fabricated using gothic arch tracing method and tissue conditioner. Definitive dentures were made using window opening impression technique, the gothic arch tracing method, and lingualized occlusion. The patient was satisfied with the function and esthetic quality of the new prostheses.

Prosthetics procedures in dental clinics 1) Tooth preparation 2) Temporary restoration 3) Post and core 4) Impression 5) Cementation of final prosthesis The final step in the prosthodontic procedure is the fitting of the final prosthesis to the patient's abutment with an exact fit and occlusal relationship. By the way, this final prosthesis is not made in the clinic but is made in the dental lab and comes to the clinic with some time difference. In the clinic, the only medium to deliver the patient's oral information to the dental laboratory is the impression. However, many errors occur in this process. Dentists and dental technicians should try to identify the cause and make an accurate prosthesis to reduce this error.
