Satirical cartoon features figure characters that liken to particular figures or social phenomenon to satirize particular figures or social phenomenon. Through the words and actions of figure characters in satirical carton, fraudulentact of man in power or irrational social phenomenon is revealed. The National Intelligence Service (NIS) female agent that is the figure character of this study has been appearing in satirical cartoon for a long time and it likens to social phenomenon instead of a actual figure. The reason why the NIS female agent has been appearing as a figure character in satirical cartoon for a long time is because related social phenomenon has not ended and is still in progress. In addition, the reason why it likens to social phenomenon instead of an actual figure is based on the fact that it is not easy to identify her face that has been hidden, which makes it difficult to exaggerate the characteristic of the figure. Her hidden face is also an expression of the desire to hide that is symbolized by baseball cap and muffler. Her hidden face and the desire to hide make it easy to substitute to other related figure or social phenomenon instead of actual figure. Namely, outward appearance of the NIS female agent has a good condition for combining 'added significance' in satirical cartoon. Irrelevant to actual NIS female agent, a satirical cartoon figure of NIS female agent is being combined with various meanings when needed and it is substituted as another figure, group or social phenomenon as the actual figure disappears. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to reveal the role of figure character in satirical cartoon by symbolically analyzing the figure character that appears in satirical cartoon as 'NIS female agent'. The followings were revealed through the symbolic analysis of figure character in satirical cartoon in this study. First, satirical cartoon satirizes social phenomenon. Figure character in satirical cartoon satirizes social phenomenon in place of actual figure. Second, satirical cartoon satirizes core or embarrassing area of irrational social phenomenon created by politics. Figure character in satirical cartoon satirizes core or embarrassing area of social phenomenon by revealing it in place of actual figure. Third, satirical cartoon sends a message of warning to a responsible person of irrational social phenomenon created by politics. Fourth, satirical cartoon provides catharsis for enduring wound or stress received by individual due to irrational social phenomenon created by politics. 21세기의 여러 가지 공연 문화 중에 뮤지컬 장르는 현대 문화의 아이콘이라고 할 만큼 우리 생활 속에 친근하게 자리 잡고 있다. 특히 한국 창작 뮤지컬 분야는 그 소재를 우리 역사 속 인물을 제 창조 하여 국민들의 공감대를 형성 하는 경우가 늘어나고 있다. 하지만 해외에 비해 창작을 해온 역사가 아직은 짧고 전문 인력이 부족 하기 때문에 지금도 완성이 아닌 현제 진행형이라고 볼 수 있다. 뮤지컬 원효는 우리 역사 속 인물인 원효 대사를 새로운 인물로 재창조 하여 창작된 뮤지컬로 작품속에 녹아 있는 '일체유심조'사상과 요석 공주와의 관계를 통해 원효 대사가 파계하는 모습 등을 여러 가지 사건과 음악을 통해 보여주고 있다. 뮤지컬은 작품 속에 등장하는 인물들의 존재 이유가 명확할 때 작품의 의도 또한 잘 전달 되어 질 수 있지만 뮤지컬 원효에서 여자 주인공 역할인 요석 공주는 주인공임에도 불구하고 인물의 목표와 장면마다의 연계성에 대한 부재가 크다고 판단되었다. 본고는 뮤지컬 원효에 등장하는 인물 중에서 중심인물인 요석 공주의 시점으로 장면을 분석하고 더 나은 공연이 되기 위해 나아갈 방향성을 제시해 보고자 한다.

This research aims to analyze the gender, sibling, and characteristics of figures who created the imaginary friends among 30 picture books published in Korea. At first, as a result of the research, a total of 35 figures of the 30 books had imaginary friends, of which 24 figures were women and 11 were men, with women more than twice as many as men. Secondly, in many cases, the only child in picture books had the imaginary companion, but in case of the figures who have brothers or sisters, The imaginary companion visited them more frequently to different gender rather than to same gender. Looking at the frequency of appearance of imaginary companion, the eldest, younger brother, and no appearance appeared in order. Third, as a result of examining the personality of figures who created the imaginary companion, their extroversion or introversion has no meaningful correlation each other. These results are meaningful as reference data for understanding children with imaginary friends in reality as picture books reflect the reality of children with imaginary friends and show various situations of infant with imaginary friends in a balanced manner.

is a service providing story synopses that match user's query. This paper presents a classification of character types by clustering of character tendencies found in the user log of . We also present a visualization method of showing genre-action relationships to each character type, and investigate the genre-action relationships of the major character types. We found that a small number of character types can represent more than half of the character tendencies and the character types tend to have a relationship to particular genres and actions. According to this properties, it would be desirable to provide supports for creative writing classified by character types.

This study examines the main characteristics and differences on people's page in selected four national dailies, such as Chosun Ilbo, Joongang Ilbo, Seoul Shinmum and Hankyoreh Shinmun. Both Chosun Ilbo and Joongang Ilbo are categorized as the conservatives; while Seoul Shinmum and Hankyoreh Shinmun as the progressive. This study has been done by applying methods of content analysis to reveal the differences in terms of people's occupations, types of reports, their philosophies, and standards of selecting people by the dailies for the people's pages. The results shows that the conservative newspapers are very similar to the progressive newspapers in terms of occupations and the types of reports, covering the people on people's pages. More specifically, both the conservative dailies and the progressive dailies report the people for whose jobs are related to both social and cultural works. However, the conservative newspapers have much more coverages than the progressive papers in terms of the publicity reporting on the people. The conservatives are also much more reports on the people who are eager to economic success than the progressive dailies; while the progressives papers have much coverages on those who are interesting in helping others than the conservatives papers. Finally, this study reveals that the conservative dailies mainly cover those who are in publicity activities and social elite groups, while the progressive newspapers are the social celebrities and persons of fame in society.

We analyzed romance of the three kingdoms written by Luo Guanzhong by using complex network to compare its properties with those of social network. The three kingdom network has a scale free and hierarchical network properties. Human-human interaction networks are dramatically changing in response to time and space. Due to lack of the dynamic interacting data, the researches only focus to analysis for properties of the statical networks. The romance of the three kingdoms is a Chinese historical novel based upon events from the end of the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms era of China, and the reunification of the land. There are over a thousand characters, over a three thousand human-human interactions, and the dynamic changed in human-human interactions in the historical novel. Here, we introduce that a possible method for analyzing about dynamic changing of the complex network.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for reconstructing middle school morality textbooks by analyzing the character traits introduced in the middle school Morality 1 course textbook according to the content and achievement standards. The study method was analyzed according to the analysis framework. The conclusion is as follows. First, in a case study of Kyohaksa, a total of 83 people were introduced, and in the case of MiraeeN, 65 people were introduced. Second, in the case of sincerity by core value, 50 students, 60.2%, future 29, 44.6%, consideration 22, 26.5%, future 29, 44.6%, justice 11 students, 13.3%, 7 in the future, 10.8%. Third, in the content and core values of Kyohaksa, there were concepts of morality that were not included: citizenship, social justice, understanding of North Korea, or a consciousness of unification ethics. Fourth, there are contents that are not covered in the content system and achievement standards in the textbook.

Although society has become increasingly diverse, on a few studies analyzed elementary science textbooks in terms of race or disability. Therefore, this study analyzed character illustrations presented in elementary science textbooks in terms of multiculturalism and disability. It identified 14 approved elementary science textbooks for the 2015 revised curriculum, which are used during the first and second semesters in the third grade. First, analysis of the race of character illustrations in elementary science textbooks indicated that 8.2% of them are multicultural, which is higher than the actual proportion of foreigners living in Korea. In addition, most of them were white illustrations, whereas Asian foreign illustrations made up the least, which suggests a different distribution in the Korean context. The study observed significant differences in distribution according to publishers. Second, the gender distribution of multicultural character illustrations differed by 59.0% and 41.0% for men and women, respectively, and the gender variation between publishers was relatively large in which a few publishers accounted for 80% of male multicultural figures. The third pertained to the function of illustrations, that is, the distribution of illustrations of Koreans and multicultural figures was similar in terms of the order of illustrations with explanatory functions followed by exemplary, decorative, and supplementary functions. Finally, from the perspective of diversity in disability, the proportion of illustrations with disability was 2.0%, which was less than the actual proportion in Korea. The study discussed the need to consider the situation and diversity of Korea in terms of race and d isability.

With the help of information technology for a film, characteris both the composition of the story and one of the most important elements that lead the story. Character has a close relationship with personality description, and the character's age, background, education, and occupation help decide his or her personality. Charades are important in that by describing a character's psychology using charade techniques, it gives a stronger impression than by describing with merely lines or narration. When a man's thought changes, their behavior changes; when a behavior is repeated, it becomes habit; when a habit is repeated, it becomes nature. The nature is the person's personality, otherwise called character. Therefore, charade techniques describe a character's psychology well, and consequently, it has maintained its importance. Because human nature and in-depth psychological description have a connection with a character's personality development, I would like to discuss the topic through this research. By using Director Shunji Iwai's "April Story" as the text, the effects of charade techniques on a character's personality development in film will be analyzed by seeking and presenting the methodology shown within the work through charade-acting techniques used by the characters for the development of character's personality.

본 연구의 주제는 정보의 관계를 사용자 중심으로 시각화하는 것이다. 생활속에서 제공되는 대부분의 정보들은 보이지 않는 연결성을 가지고 있다. 이런 정보들의 공통적인 특성 및 관계의 연구를 통해 정보의 중요도를 측정할 수 있고, 각 정보의 개체 간의 연결성이 형성되어 인접정보의 접근이 용이해진다. 특히 인간관계는 사회 연결망의 주된 관심사이며, 사회의 각 개체 간 관계를 분석하여 도식화하는 여러 방법론이 제시되어 있다. 이번 연구를 위하여 제한된 사회라고 볼 수 있는 그리스 신화를 소재로 선정하여 등장인물들 간의 관계를 파악하는데 사회연결망 이론을 적용하였다. 하지만 시각화 측면에서 볼 때 현재 제공되는 사회 연결망 분석 도구는 사용자를 고려한 디자인 부분이 배제되어 단순히 정보를 일방적으로 보여준다는 한계를 지니고 있다. 미톨로지아에서는 분석된 자료를 바탕으로 사용자가 정보를 파악하는데 좀더 효과적이고 용이한 시각적인 구성을 가질 수 있도록 시도했다. 사회 연결망 분석법으로 그리스 신화의 인물들이 가진 신분, 출현 빈도, 감정관계 등을 수치화하여 인물의 연결성을 분석하였다. 또한 정보와 사용자 간의 상호작용 기능을 제공함으로써 사용자의 이해도를 높였다. 기본 인터페이스는 인물노드에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 4 가지 분류에 의한 인덱스의 형태를 가지며, 인물 간의 세밀한 관계는 선택에 의한 줌-인(zoom in) 기능을 통해 볼 수 있다. 이는 기존의 필터링 기능과는 차별적인 요소로서 직접 관련된 정보 이외의 정보들은 시각적으로 제한되어 사용자가 인물 관계를 빠르고 직관적으로 파악할 수 있다. 미톨로지아는 개괄적인 관계를 보여주는 레이아웃과 부분적이며 상세한 정보를 파악하기에 적합한 인터랙션 방법을 제시한다.
