  • 안드레아 팔라디오는 후기 르네상스 시대의 대표적인 건축가로서 서양 건축사에 있어서 가장 유명한건축가의 한 사람이다. 그가 세상을 떠난 1580년 이후 그의 작품은 여러 번에 걸쳐 부활되었다. 팔라디오의 건축 작품과 저서는 서양 건축의 흐름에 영향을 끼쳐서 현재까지 이르고 있다. 오늘날 팔라디오가 인기를 모으고 있는 이유는 이탈리아 북부 지방에 남아 있는 그의 작품들을 직접 가서 보기 쉽다는 점에 기인한다. 여기에 더해서 팔라디오의 건축 작품이 놓여 있는 자연환경이나 도시적 상황이 우수하다는 점도 중요한 요인이다. 팔라디오의 빌라나 팔라초, 교회 그리고 기타 공공 건물 등 많은 작품을 남김으로써 그의 훌륭함을 찬양할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 이보다도 그의 작품은 양보다는 질에 있어서 고전 부활 양식 이라는 독특한 건축 접근 방식에 대한 가장 훌륭한 예가 될 것이다. 무엇이 팔라디오의 작품을 먼 이국의 땅에 유행시켰나 하는 문제는 그의 건축의 우수성에 우선 기인하겠지만 또 다른 원인이 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 르네상스 후기의 인문학 발전과 더불어 팔라디오의 작품에 세계성을 부여한 요소를 미디어의 발전과 연결하여 분석하여 보았다.

A Qualitative Study on Safety Rule Violation Motives at Manufacturing Plants (제조사업장의 안전규정 위반요인에 대한 정성적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence safety rule violation at work. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 337 participants from nine manufacturing plants. The results of the content analysis revealed the following six categories: Individual characteristics, safety commitment, safety support and resources, safety competence and communication, production pressure, and problems with rules. Among the 14 factors in the six categories above, indirect accident experience in the individual characteristics category and no action for complying with laws in the problems with rules category had not been identified in previous studies. However, some factors, such as age, peer pressure, pay type, the lowering of risk, a masculine way of working, and supervisor position were not found in this study. The implications and limitations are discussed.

  • 에듀테인먼트는 여러 가지 소재와 다양한 기술이 결합된 종합적인 예술이라 할 수 있다. 에듀테인먼트에서 사용하는 시각적인 매체와 청각적인 매체에 대한 선호는 주관적인 성향이 강하므로 소프트웨어 품질을 평가하듯이 어떤 기준에 따라 평가하기 어려운 요인이 있으므로 에듀테인먼트용 품질평가는 지표가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 에듀테인먼트를 평가 지표를 개발하고 중학생들에게 인기가 높은 온라인 에듀테인먼트를 대상으로 개발된 평가 지표를 기준으로 평가하고 이를 분석하였다.

  • 초고속 정보통신망을 비롯한 정보 인프라의 구축이 확대하면서 인터넷을 비롯한 다양한 정보 서비스들이 활성화되고 있다. 최근 인터넷의 사용자 수가 크게 증가함에 따라 웹 서버에 걸리는 부하와 통신망의 트래픽이 급증하고 있으며, 이들은 응답시간을 지연시키는 주요 요인이 되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 인기 있는 정보는 클라이언트에 가까이 위치한 프록시 서버에 캐슁함으로써 웹서버의 병목현상을 완화시키고, 통신망의 트래픽을 줄이며, 서비스 응답시간을 줄일 수 있다. 또한 여러 프록시 캐쉬들에 저장된 정보들을 클라이언트들이 공유함으로써 인터넷 성능을 보다 향상시킬 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 실제 웹 트레이스를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 프록시 캐쉬들을 계층적으로 접속한 인터넷 환경에서 캐쉬 크기에 대한 캐쉬 적중률을 분석하였다.

해양치유정책 추진방향 연구

  • 이 연구는 국내외 환경 변화와 관광트렌드 변화에 따른 웰니스와 치유관광의 부상, 국내 치유 휴양관광정책 현황을 살펴보고 국내 해양치유정책의 추진방향을 모색하고자 했다. 기후변화와 고령화, 일과 삶의 균형 추구와 같은 환경 변화 및 융합관광, 슬로우트래블 등의 인기를 배경으로 치유와 휴식에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 국내에는 문체부 복지부 중심의 의료관광, 산림청이 주도하는 산림치유가 활성화되고 있다. 해양치유는 해양과 배후자원을 활용한 치유행위를 말하며 국민의 삶의 질 향상과 산업유성 및 일자리 창출을 목적으로 해양수산부가 추진하고 있다. 해양치유에 대한 낮은 인지도, 사회문화적 여건 미성숙, 법제도적 기반 미비, 해양공간의 특수성과 같은 제약 요인을 고려하여 향후 국내 해양치유정책은 법제도 기반 마련, 공간 및 인프라 구축, 자원 발굴 및 홍보를 중심으로 전개해나가야 할 것이다.

Analysis of Global Success Factors of K-pop Music (K-pop 음악의 글로벌 성공 요인 분석)

  • Psy's Gangnam style in 2012 showed K-pop's potential for global growth and BTS proved it by reaching three consecutive Billboard No.1. The success in the global music market brings tremendous economical and cultural power. This study is conducted for the continuous growth of K-pop music in the global music market by analyzing the musical factor of K-pop's global success. The top 20 most-viewed K-pop MV on Youtube is chosen as a research subject because Youtube is a worldwide platform that reflects global popularity. For the process of K-pop music creation, the role of the composer is expanded and many overseas producers participate in music creation. All 20 songs are created by the collective creation system and there is a consecutive collaboration between the main producers and certain artists. The top 20 most viewed K-pop songs have the musical characteristics of transnational genre convergence, hook songs, sophisticated sounds, frequent use of English lyrics, a reflection of the latest global trends, rhythm optimized for dance and clear concept. It makes the K-pop song easily remembered and familiar to overseas listeners. K-pop's healthy and fresh theme brings emotional empathy and reflects Korean sentiments. K-pop's global success is not a coincidence, but a result of continuous efforts to advance overseas. Some critics criticize K-pop's musical style is similar and it shows K-pop's limitation but K-pop progressed its musical evolution. By keeping the merits of K-pop's success factors and complementing its weak points, K-pop will continue its popularity and increase influence in the global music market.

A Study On the Effects of Game Players' Environment on their Game Experience and Overindulgence in Games (게임 이용자의 환경이 게임 이용 및 과몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of this study are, firstly, to investigate the relationship between the online and mobile game players' psychological aspects (reference group, government regulation, game contents) and their game experience and overindulgence in games and, secondly, to suggest possible ways to reduce overindulgence in games. The implications of this research are as follows; Firstly, families and school authorities should strive to make sports and other pastime activities popular among peer groups rather than allowing online and video games to become only source of popularity among peer groups. Secondly, it is better for families members to establish a set of rules for controlling their children's time spent on online and mobile games rather than entirely forbidding the games. Family members should also strive to have more family conversations and to find a common source of interests. Thirdly, government should strive to develop policy responses to the overindulgence in games based on practical research and analysis. Fourthly, game makers should pay more attention to the components and expressions used in their games so as to draw game players' interests to the story and design of the games. Game makers also need to consider elements in their games that may potentially cause overindulgence in the development stage. Lastly, game players should strive to find new leisure activities besides online and mobile games that they can enjoy and have good experience with.

The Role of Relational Commitment and its Antecedents in User Loyalty of Mobile Messenger Services (모바일 메신저 서비스에서 관계적 몰입과 선행 요인이 사용자 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • Mobile messenger services (MMSs), such as Kakaotalk, Wetalk, Line, and Whatsapp, are gaining popularity worldwide because of communicating with other people without any cost. We examined key antecedents of user loyalty to understand user's decision-making process in the MMS environment. To capture a long-term relationship with service providers, we posit relational commitment and user satisfaction as key predictors of user loyalty. Moreover, the effects of perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and corporate image on user's decision-making processes were examined. The proposed model was tested by applying partial least squares to data from 220 experienced Kakaotalk users. The findings of this study found that both relational commitment and user satisfaction play an important role in enhancing user loyalty in the MMS context. The analysis results indicate that corporate image influences relational commitment and user loyalty through user satisfaction. The analysis results help MMS providers establish management or marketing strategies to effectively improve user loyalty.

  • The Hallyu, or Korean Wave, has recently been proliferating around the world focusing on Asia. With the development of China's economy and the improvement of their people's living standards, Chinese consumption has been growing quickly. In cosmetic industry, Chinese consumers tend to prefer international brands including Korean cosmetics. There are various ways for Chinese consumers to purchase international brand cosmetics. One of them is overseas purchase via buying agent. This study is designed to exam various determinants of the overseas purchase. Based on empirical findings, product price and functionality can play an important role in terms of the overseas purchase. Also, moderating effects of an external factor(importing country's favorability) was empirically investigated. The results of SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) show that the relationship between consumer openness and overseas purchase via buying agent can be positively moderated by the favorability.

Announcers' Job Satisfaction and Jon Continuity Intention (아나운서의 직업 만족도와 직업 지속의도)

  • The object of this study is to determine and prioritize the factors that affect job satisfaction and job continuity intention of an important media content provider group - TV/radio announcers. In this study, the determinant factors are classified as "internal" factors (i.e. career motivation and identity as a member of an organization) and "external" factors such as reputation and prestige. A survey was conducted among active announcers in Korea, and 106 responded. The data was processed by multiple regression analysis. The result showed that organizational identity affected the job satisfaction and job continuity intention most, and perceived external prestige affected least. In conclusion, announcer's job satisfaction and job continuity intention have more meaningful relationship with internal factors than with external factors.
