The Consumers' Evaluative Criteria of Quality on The Organic Clothes and Their Purchase Intention (오가닉 의류제품에 대한 대학생 소비자의 품질평가기준과 구매의도)

  • This study aims to find evaluative criteria of quality on the organic clothes with college student consumers, categorize them, establish the basis of evaluation criteria, and examine the roles of each attribute according to their demographical characteristics and the association between their quality evaluation and their purchase intention. College students' evaluative criteria of quality factors of organic clothes were three factor; "aesthetic symbolism", "mainterance efficiency", and "functionality". As a result, first this study showed significant differences from the evaluation criteria of organic clothes in sex, major and pocket money among demographical characteristics Second, this study found that college student consumers' experience of purchasing organic clothes considered "aesthetic symbolism", "mainterance efficiency", and "functionality" more important compared to non-purchase group. Third, it was found that there might be differences between future purchase intention group and non-repurchase intention group according to evaluation standard of organic clothes. There was significant differences in "functionality" between the two groups.

The Difference Analysis on the Preference and Desired Image of Skinny Jeans according to Demographic Characteristics (인구통계학적 특성에 따른 스키니 진의 선호도 및 추구이미지의 차이분석)

  • This study aims to draw the factors about the desired image of skinny jeans and to analyze the difference desired image, preference, and wearing satisfaction according to demographic characteristics. The data for this study were collected from men and women in their from 10s to 40s. This study used SPSS 20.0 for windows and factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA were used to perform the statistical analysis on the survey data. The result showed that the desired image of skinny jeans was five. The difference results of skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics showed the significant difference in the comfortable and stylish image, the thin and long image, and the active image according to gender, in the bold and sensual image according to marital status, in the bold, comfortable, stylish, and sensual image according to age, in the bold image according to monthly income, and in the bold, thin, and sensual image according to occupation. The difference results about the preference of skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics showed that the groups of women, teenager, five millions won and over to six millions won in monthly income, owner-operators, service and production workers, office workers, middle and highschool students, and university students have the higher preference than the other groups. The difference analysis results about the wearing satisfaction of skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics showed that the groups of women, teenager, five millions won and over to six millions won in monthly income have higher wearing satisfaction than the other groups.

The Relationship between Perfectionism and Motivational Climate in Competitive Athletes (경쟁적 운동선수들의 완벽주의성향과 동기분위기의 상관관계)

  • This study aimed to identify the relationship between perfectionism and motivational climate in competitive athletes and to provide information for improvement of their performance. One hundred ninety-six athletes who trained in Korea National Training Center participated in this study and they were divided into record and man-to-man events. Also they filled in the questionnaire about demographic factors, perfectionism, and motivational climate. Collected data were analyzed by using cross validation and independent t-test for identifying the difference of two events and structural equation model for testing hypotheses and model fit. Perfectionism and motivational climate in man-to-man events were stronger compared to record event. In record event, perfectionism was more influenced by ego involving motivational climate compared to task involving, while in man-to-man event, perfectionism was affected by only ego involving motivational climate. However, these both study models had a bad fit.

  • To identify the relationship between instructor's image and participation motive, this study conducted a research on 293 elderlies over 65 at 6 sports centers located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions. The research results were as follows. First, in the image of instructor based on demographic characteristic, gender showed significant difference with instructor's talent while gender showed significant difference with instructor's talent, instructing image, and living image. Also, the sports type had significant difference with all subfactors of instructor image. Secondly, in the participation motive based on the demographic characteristic, gender showed significant difference with internal motive while age and sports type demonstrated significant difference with all subfactors of participation motive. third, the instructor image had significant influence on both internal and external motive. While instructing image and human relationship image had significant difference in internal motive, the external motive showed significant difference with instructor talent, living image, and human relationship image. thus, the research result showed that instructor's image is a significant variable which enhances elderly's motive for participating in life sports.

The Influence of the Characteristics of Start-ups on the Performance of Start-up Firms - Based on the Mediated Effects of Start-up Behavior - (창업가 특성이 창업기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향 -창업행동의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • Start-up companies have recently emerged as an important pillar of the national economy, becoming the core of expanding new growth engines and creating jobs for the national economy. Accordingly, this study used the Start-up Behavior (opportunity discovery, opportunity utilization) as the main variable to verify the parameter effects, and empirically analyzed the factors of the start-up characteristics on the management performance of the start-up company. To achieve this goal, 221 technology-intensive start-ups 2 to 7 years old were surveyed and analyzed for 22 days from March 4 to March 25, 2019. In summary, the results of the study are as follows. First, it has been shown that "starting-up characteristics" have a positive influence on "start-up behavior." Second, it has been shown that "creative behavior" has a positive influence on "management performance." Third, the effect of "starting-up characteristics" on "start-up behaviour" was shown to be different according to "population statistical characteristics (gender, educational background). Fourth, the effect of "starting up action" on "management performance" was shown to be different according to the demographic characteristics (gender, educational background). Finally, "Start-up Action" has been shown to have a mediated effect in the relationship between "Start-up Characteristics" and "management performance."

  • This thesis aimed examine the relationship between the health characteristics (musculoskeletal, respiratory, skin, digestive, nervous mental system) of cosmetologists and their demographic, health management, and working environment characteristics to help cosmetologists maintain a healthy work life while solving health problems. These research was carried out via survey and statistics analysis. A total of 279 cosmetologists living in Seoul, Kyeongkido, and Choongchungdo from 8 July to 30 August, 2014 were surveyed. Frequency, mean, factor, and regression analysis were carried out on the data with SPSS(V. 14). The results were as follows; (1) a relationship between health & the demographic characteristics of gender was found;- (2) health and the health management characteristics of interest in health problem prevention, active exterior health support, muscular exercise, interior health support, and stress management were found to be related;- (3) health and working the environment characteristics of working time per day, and work days per week were related.

A Study on the Effects of Lifelong Educator's Empowerment on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment (평생교육사의 임파워먼트가 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects empowerment has on a lifelong educator's job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study was implemented to amass and analyze the data from 160 Daejeon district's lifelong educators using SPSS 20.0. The statistical analysis was conducted with the following measures: frequency analysis for demographic characteristics, descriptive analysis, factor analysis with Varimax rotation for the validity of the measured variables, Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the reliability of the internal consistency between the variables, and Pearson's correlation coefficient to confirm the relevance between the variables. Our hypothesis was then verified through regression analysis. Our research results showed that, first, the level of empowerment differed depending on such factors as gender, age, education level, employee type, work hours, and monthly income. Second, empowerment was shown to have a significant influence on job satisfaction, where higher empowerment levels led to higher job satisfaction. Third, empowerment was a significant factor in increasing organizational commitment, as higher empowerment levels led to higher commitment. Therefore, this study reflected on the concept that empowerment was needed by lifelong educators, thus showing that enhancing job satisfaction and organizational commitment by developing the personal abilities of a lifelong institution educator is favorable to the institution's development and success.

A Study on the Effects of Demographic Characteristics of Consumers on Types of Preferred Menu: Focusing on Daegu and Gyongbuk Region (소비자의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 선호메뉴 유형에 관한 연구: 대구.경북을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of demographic characteristics such as gender, marital status, age, educational level, job and monthly income on the preferred menu classified by type of food, food material, cooking method, taste and food temperature. A survey was performed from the 5th to 10th of January, 2013 among consumers in such places as coffee shops and subway stations located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region, and finally 307 data sets were used for analysis. The results of analysis showed that the strongest effects of demographic characteristics were observed in preferred menu classified by type of food(i.e. Korean, Western, Chinese, Japanese, buffet, herbal and instant foods), and the differences by marital status, age, educational level, job were statistically significant. In particular, the married consumers tended to prefer Korean and herbal foods, while the unmarried ones preferred western, Chinese, buffet and instant food. Moreover, the younger ones tended to prefer western, Chinese, buffet and instant foods, while the older ones preferred to eat Korean food. The younger unmarried ones liked beef and pork dishes, while the married ones over their forties tended to prefer vegetable dishes. The consumers less than or equal to their thirties tended to prefer roasted and fried foods compared to ones over their thirties.

An Analysis on Development Determinants for Revitalization of Marina Development (마리나 개발 활성화를 위한 개발 결정요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to activate marina development by empirically analyzing the development determinants of the marina, to provide the basic date for the effective implementation of 'the 2nd Marina Port Basic Plan' and marina industrial development. To accomplish the study goal, the survey was conducted with 356 locals residing in five marina development regions of three districts. The factors relative to the marina development included general characteristics such as age, income level, interest group, residential area, and the reasons of conflicts such as collectivism, exclusion from the development process, and the environmental problems. The marina development pros and cons (approval or opposition) and marina development conflict types (profit or value conflict) were used as the dependent variables. The following results were obtained by using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program to perform the technical statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and logistic regression analysis. First, as a result of analyzing the marina development pros and cons, age, income level, interest group, residential area, and residence period among demographic characteristics were significant. Second, the factors of collectivism and exclusion of development process among the causes of conflict were significant. Third, age, income level, and residential area among demographic characteristics were significant factors.

  • We present an in-depth analysis on the factors that influence viewing satisfaction and behavior of visitors in the exhibition. The proposed method consists of two steps including, i) classification of factors into demographic and social, psychological, cultural through surveys and ii) analysis the impact of viewing satisfaction and behavior on the characteristics of visitors. The proposed method can find the characteristics of each factor from the general audience, and can be used in planning and the exhibition in the form of an organized database in the future.
