Explicating Motivations & Attitudes Affecting the Persistent Intention to Adopt Binge-Watching (수용자의 몰아보기 이용동기와 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인에 대한 연구)

  • In 2013 the Netflix, an OTT in USA, launched all at once 13 episodes of the House of Cards season. Binge-watching is the word which means watching continuously 2~6 episodes of a TV program with one sitting, the new normal of TV watching behavior, cultural and social currents all over the world. This study has analyzed the factors and motivations which affect to the persistent intention to use binge-watching. It conducted an online survey from 333 Quota sample from Korean age groups between 20th~60th with 81 questionnaires. The 5 groups were induced as motivation factors to binge-watching. The 3 groups which consisted of , , are affecting as positive to intention to use binge-watching. But the other 2 groups which are and doing as negative. The survey has shown that the persistent intention to binge-watching is affected by ages more younger, whom doing binge watching more frequently, whom estimating more higher to the conceived usefulness to use. As a theoretical model, expanded technology acceptance model was adopted and US drama House of Cards. This study could promote the next generation contents planning and S-VOD service industry.

The Influencing Factors of SME's Acceptance Intention to Advance Smart Factory (중소기업의 스마트팩토리 고도화 수용의도에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This study analyzed the factors that influence the domestic SMEs that have introduced smart factories on their intention to accept at a higher level for qualitative advancement. 375 copies collected through an online survey were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS with UTAUT and the extended two-stage information system continuous model. Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions have a statistically significant effect on user satisfaction and user satisfaction and CEO's will have an effect on the intention to accept the advancement. However, the suppliers' technology didn't have a direct effect on the advancement acceptance intention and user satisfaction has a mediating effect between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and the advancement acceptance intention. SME's advancement for smart factory, it is important to improve the satisfaction level and the CEO's will to become smart.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically verify how UI usability of mobile healthcare applications affects the perception of technostress and continuous use of elderly users. Through this, the effect of UI usability of mobile healthcare applications on technostress and continuous use intention was demonstrated for 199 people aged over 60. As a result, all four sub-factors of UI usability had a significant effect on technostress, and the magnitude of the influence was found to be in the order of content, process, design, and system. On the other hand, it was found that technostress had a significant effect on the intention of continued use. Through the above results, a UI design strategy that can lead to continuous use by relieving the technostress experienced by the elderly was suggested. This provides academic and practical implications for the future development and service direction of mobile healthcare applications for the elderly.

  • The government is pursuing plans to create new e-government services. In terms of improving business procedures, dBrain (finance), e-people (personnel), and Onnara (electronic payment and business management) have achieved considerable results, and are currently making efforts to improve existing administrative services using newly emerged ICT. Among them, this paper attempted to study whether self-learning-based intelligent administrative services are efficient in the work process of public officials promoting actual work and affect their continued use. Based on individual perceptions and attitudes toward advanced ICTs such as AI, big data, and blockchain, public officials' influences on administrative services were identified and verified using UTAUT variables. They believe that the establishment and introduction of innovative administrative services can be used more efficiently, and they have high expectations for the use and provision of services as ICT develops. In the future, a model will be also applied to citizens

  • The paper studies the influencing factors of continuous usage intention for a scenario based cognitive FAQ service regrading on private information protection. The research result finds that three major factors are significantly positive to the continuous usage intention for the service. First, search easiness is an essential factor and it can be improved using sophisticate categorization. Second, Scenario based FAQ service is effective on understanding and solving questioner's situation. Related information is helpful for problem solving. The research shows that the new approach to private information protection area can lead to a more acceptable and reasonable problem solving tool.

  • In the last few years, cloud computing has grown from being a promising business concept to one of the fast growing segments of the IT industry. However, as more and more information on individuals and companies are placed in the cloud, concerns on just how safe the computing environment is have gradually increased. In this study, it will be explored if key characteristics of cloud computing services would affect the behavioral intention to use public cloud computing services. A conceptual model is developed and seven research hypotheses are proposed for empirical testing. The proposed model is examined through structural equation analysis. The results show that perceived risk has statistically significant effect on the privacy concern of users and the privacy concern has a negative influence on the trust. Finally, the trust has a positive effect on the attitude and the attitude has statistically significant effect on use intention. Implications of these findings are discussed for both researchers and practitioners and future research issues are raised as well.

  • With the development of information technology, the popularization of 5G and cloud computing has accelerated the circulation and digital transformation of information. In the network information society where information is rapidly increasing, it is very important to have the ability to manage and collect the required information. In particular, the information storage and management functions of cloud services are widely used among young people. This research takes the social factors of accepting cloud services as the breakthrough point, and takes young consumers aged 20-30 as the survey object, and designs a research model according to the development of cloud computing technology. The findings verify the influence of social factors on cloud service acceptance and 20-30-year-old consumers' intention to use cloud services. The partial and complete mediating effects of perceived ease of use were verified from the influence relationship between social factors and exploitation intention. Finally, this study provides inspiration for the development direction of cloud computing technology through empirical analysis.

  • The technology of mobile healthcare is steadily growing, but acceptance of consumers is sluggish. Various studies related to mobile healthcare have been conducted, but studies on the characteristics of prisoners are lacking. Therefore, in this study, we examined the effect of diffusion factors of mobile health care on the intention to use, and examined the moderating effect of innovation propensity. The results show that the relative advantage, compatibility, observability, and usefulness of mobile health care affect the intention to use. In addition, the innovation propensity has a moderating effect on the influence of complexity, trialability, and usafulness on intention to use. This study suggests that the use of the concept of innovation propensity has been confirmed as a major control variable in the relationship between innovation diffusion factors and utilization intention. In addition, it suggests that consumers' innovation tendency is a factor to be taken into consideration for suppliers of mobile healthcare.

Effects of Hotel Using Experience on Customers' Purchase and Behavior Intention (호텔이용 경험이 구매의사와 고객행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of the hotel using experience on customers' purchase and behavior intention. For this study, a total of 306 questionnaires among collected data for customers who hotel using experience at five star hotels located in Seoul from April 1, 2015 to April 30, 2015 was to ensure a valid sample. As a result of the experiments which conducted by factor analysis and regression analysis, it shows 1% level positive significant effects in purchase and continual purchase intention of "emotional experiencer", "physical experience factor", "continuous experience factor", and "superior experience factor", but it is 10% level significant effects in continual purchase intention positively effected continual purchase intention of "physical experience factor". Also, it shows 1% level positive significant effects on hotel customers' intention of reused, intention of suggestion, intention of recommendation of "emotional experiencer", "physical experience factor", "continuous experience factor", and "superior experience factor". From the study, it is expected to build hotel-customer relationship and brand level of awareness for activating customers' loyalty.

  • In research on the use of AI-based voice assistant services, problems related to the user's trust and privacy protection arising from the experience of service use are constantly being raised. The purpose of this study was to investigate empirically the effects of individual trust in AI and online privacy concerns on the continued use of AI-based voice assistants, specifically the impact of their interaction. In this study, question items were constructed based on previous studies, with an online survey conducted among 405 respondents. The effect of the user's trust in AI and privacy concerns on the adoption and continuous use intention of AI-based voice assistant services was analyzed using the Heckman selection model. As the main findings of the study, first, AI-based voice assistant service usage behavior was positively influenced by factors that promote technology acceptance, such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and social influence. Second, trust in AI had no statistically significant effect on AI-based voice assistant service usage behavior but had a positive effect on continuous use intention. Third, the privacy concern level was confirmed to have the effect of suppressing continuous use intention through interaction with trust in AI. These research results suggest the need to strengthen user experience through user opinion collection and action to improve trust in technology and alleviate users' concerns about privacy as governance for realizing digital government. When introducing artificial intelligence-based policy services, it is necessary to disclose transparently the scope of application of artificial intelligence technology through a public deliberation process, and the development of a system that can track and evaluate privacy issues ex-post and an algorithm that considers privacy protection is required.
