  • ATM 스위치에서 입력 트래픽의 링크 이용의 불확실성과 입력 트래픽에 대한 예측 오류 등으로 인한 폭주가 발생될 가능성을 완전히 배제할 수 없기 때문에 스위치내부에서 폭주 발생을 억제할 수 있는 방법이모새되어야 한다.본 논문에서는 스위치 내부 링크의 대역 사용량을 측정하여 폭주 및 트래픽 제어를 수행하고 링크 이용률을 최대화하기 위한대역 할당 알고리즘을 제안한다. 폭주가 발생한 링크에 대하여 짧은 시간 내에 폭주를 해결하고 폭주가 발생하지 않은 링크에서는 사용하고 남은 여분의 대역을 공평하게 할당함으로서 링크의 이용률을 극대화할 수 있으므로 트래픽 관리를 보다 쉽고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있다.

Sentiment Prediction using Emotion and Context Information in Unstructured Documents (비정형 문서에서 감정과 상황 정보를 이용한 감성 예측)

  • With the development of the Internet, users share their experiences and opinions. Since related keywords are used witho0ut considering information such as the general emotion or genre of an unstructured document such as a movie review, the sensitivity accuracy according to the appropriate emotional situation is impaired. Therefore, we propose a system that predicts emotions based on information such as the genre to which the unstructured document created by users belongs or overall emotions. First, representative keyword related to emotion sets such as Joy, Anger, Fear, and Sadness are extracted from the unstructured document, and the normalized weights of the emotional feature words and information of the unstructured document are trained in a system that combines CNN and LSTM as a training set. Finally, by testing the refined words extracted through movie information, morpheme analyzer and n-gram, emoticons, and emojis, it was shown that the accuracy of emotion prediction using emotions and F-measure were improved. The proposed prediction system can predict sentiment appropriately according to the situation by avoiding the error of judging negative due to the use of sad words in sad movies and scary words in horror movies.

The Effects of Personality Traits and Motivations on Utilization of Graphical Emoticon in Mobile Messenger: Focusing on KakaoTalk (성격 특성과 이용 동기가 모바일 메신저 그래픽 이모티콘 활용에 미치는 영향: 카카오톡 사례를 중심으로)

  • The objective of this study is mainly to examine factors affecting utilization of graphical emoticons in the environment of mobile messenger. For this purpose, this research identified several determinants including demographic variables that have influences on utilization of graphical emoticons by an overview of prior research on Big 5 model and Uses and Gratification (U & G). An online survey was employed to collect data, and hierarchical regression analysis was used for data analysis. The results showed that females and younger respondents have higher utilization of graphical emoticons than males and the older. The findings also showed that extraversion as personal traits has influences on the utilization. And they indicated that people increase their utilization of graphical emoticons when they want to communicate with others efficiently and succinctly, and to follow the trend. The practical and theoretical implications of the findings in this study are also discussed.

  • The paradigm of communication is changing by the generalization of mobile computers and the extension of network service. In the mobile messenger communication, people are increasingly using character emoticons to substitute linear text. This means that the character emoticons are functioning as narrative characters so that they are becoming the nonlinear techno-code, which can substitute for the alphabet code. As Vil$\acute{e}$m Flusser said, the post-modern communication is arrived. In this kind of communication, storytelling with character emoticons are effective enough to tell various stories. In this point of view, this paper tries to prove the functions of character emoticons and suggests the classification of the character emoticon series. This paper also structures the post-modern communication model as a new paradigm of visual communication.

Non-verbal Emotional Expressions for Social Presence of Chatbot Interface (챗봇의 사회적 현존감을 위한 비언어적 감정 표현 방식)

  • The users of a chatbot messenger can be better engaged in the conversation if they feel intimacy with the chatbot. This can be achieved by the chatbot's effective expressions of human emotions to chatbot users. Thus motivated, this study aims to identify the appropriate emotional expressions of a chatbot that make people feel the social presence of the chatbot. In the background research, we obtained that facial expression is the most effective way of emotions and movement is important for relationship emersion. In a survey, we prepared moving text, moving gestures, and still emoticon that represent five emotions such as happiness, sadness, surprise, fear, and anger. Then, we asked the best way for them to feel social presence with a chatbot in each emotion. We found that, for an arousal and pleasant emotion such as 'happiness', people prefer moving gesture and text most while for unpleasant emotions such as 'sadness' and 'anger', people prefer emoticons. Lastly, for the neutral emotions such as 'surprise' and 'fear', people tend to select moving text that delivers clear meaning. We expect that this results of the study are useful for developing emotional chatbots that enable more effective conversations with users.

  • This research aimed to find out the homeostatic temperature when there are various organisms. Also, this studies on the impacts the variety of organisms would make on the ecosystem when a species or a number of the species drastically decreases. For this, a new 'Daisyworld' was made. It had a greater variety of plants; and animals and microorganisms were added. This model had a circular ecosystem. It showed the temperature is well maintained when there are various organisms and that the restoration is faster when there are changes in the ecosystem.

The Influence of Players' Self-Esteem, Game-Efficacy, and Social Capital on Life Satisfaction Focused on Hedonic and Eudaimonic Happiness (게임 이용자들의 자아 존중감, 게임 효능감, 사회 자본이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 헤도닉과 유다이모닉 행복 관점을 중심으로)

  • The current study explores a possible mechanism through which game users' integrated sociopsychological factors lead to a higher level of life satisfaction, based on desire-fulfillment theory as well as hedonic and eudaimonic approaches to happiness. Using data from a survey of 789 game users in South Korea, we tested the relationships of psychological variables (self-esteem and game and life-efficacy), social variables (bonding and bridging social capital), and demographic variables (age and gender) with life satisfaction. Results show that self-esteem and game efficacy were an important antecedent to the degree of users' life satisfaction. Both bonding and bridging social capital increased life satisfaction. The importance of perspectives as well as their implications for game users and further associated research is explored.

Analysis of Visual Attention in Mobile Messenger Emoticons using Eye-Tracking (시선추적장치를 활용한 모바일 메신저 이모티콘의 시각적 주의집중 분석)

  • For the success of mobile messenger emoticons, it is important to grab the attentions of users or consumers and identify the influence factors that can satisfy empathy and emotional satisfaction. In this study, first, subjective evaluation of the mobile messenger emoticons of the subjects was examined through a preliminary survey, and then Eye-tracking experiments were conducted to identify the influence factors that can attention of the subject's eyes in the emoticons. The study revealed that emoticons such as Ompangi and Onaeui yeosin highlighting their characters mainly focus on characters(face). Secondly, Gyuiyomjueui and Handprinting emoticons focused on Text. Contrary to earlier studies, such results showed that people are presumed to focus on characteristic elements such as size, form, color and location of visually exposed elements rather than primarily having a keen interest in characters.

  • Learners in web-based learning environment have to keep a stronger will for their study than those in traditional learning environment. Here, this strong will can be told as learner's motivation which is emotional aspects. However, most web-based instructional designs have been based on learner's cognitive aspects. Therefore, this study focused on presenting the strategies for the design of emotional bulletin board and its concrete interfaces.

포항 방사광 가속기의 고주파시스템 설계

  • 현재까지 진행된 저장링 격자의 기본설계에 따라, 고주파 시스템 특히 Cavity와 고전력 고주파시스템의 기본 요구사항 및 기본구조를 보여주었다. 이외에도 저장링의 고주파시스템은 아주 잘 설계된 정밀 고주파회로의 둣받침을 받아야 하는데 이에 대한 설계는 아직 초기단계에 있다. 안정된 500MHz 전원에서부터, Cavity내부 및 외부, 또 Klystron의 출력 등등의 상태를 파악하는 amplitude 및 phase detector들 또한 phase shifter, 신호감쇄기, 튜너 등이 많은 feedback 회로를 통해 서로 연결되어 각종 고, 저전력 시스템을 control하고 Cavity간의 위상을 맞추어 주어야 한다. 또한 이모든 system은 computer control 및 manual control이 가능해야 하고, 고압(-50KV), 고전류(-15A)가 사용되고 또한 Cavity 자체가 전체 저장링의 진공 시스템을 파괴할 수도 있으므로 이에 대한 초고속의 안전 relay 시스템도 설치되어야 한다. 충분한 빔의 수명을 위한 최대전얍은 1.5MV 내지 2.3MV로서 3개 또는 4개의 Cavity가 필요하고, 필요전력은 최소 171KW에서 최대 512KW까지임을 보여주었다. 여러가지 가능한 layout에서 PLS에 적합한 구조를 선택하였으며 기존 가속기들에 사용된 기술수준을 능가하는 특별한 요구사항은 없음을 보여주었다.
