The purpose of this study was to develop and to explore the possibility of the virtual reality based communication training program(VR-CTP) for students with intellectual disabilities. To do this, sentences and dialogue of program were extracted from the National Common Basic Curriculum of Special School and the contents design of program were developed based on the consultation by special education experts. To explore the possibility of applying the VR-CTP, a usability evaluation was conducted with 30 special school teachers and 44 students with intellectual disabilities. The results showed that the VR-CTP had a high level of usability as the special school teachers received 4.23 and the students with intellectual disabilities received 4.44 out of 5. But there is no difference of usability evaluation on the special teachers' school level and teaching experiences without arrangement of school. Also, there is no difference of usability evaluation on the students' IQ, school level, and arrangement of school. As a result of this study, we can draw a conclusion that there is a possibility of applying the VR-CTP to language education for students with intellectual disabilities.

Hearing - impaired children who have difficulty hearing and hearing go through pronunciation training. The purpose of this study is to provide the pronunciation training system based on digital contents that can be used for repeated hearing training while maintaining interest in hearing - impaired children. For this purpose, we conducted an interview survey for users and experts. Based on the results, we developed a digital content based pronunciation training system. Finally, to verify the effect of the digital service implemented, the user test was conducted for the hearing - impaired children. As a result of the interview, repeated training and interest factors were found to be essential factors affecting pronunciation training. In implementing digital services, we have used fairy tales and a variety of interactive elements to derive children's interests and designed a user flow that can train multiple words and sentences for effective repetition training. As a result of the test, this digital content was evaluated positively.

This paper aimed to reveal the needs and intentions of the people with developmental disabilities through AAC for supporting their independent living in the community and furthermore to contribute to realizing an inclusive community. From August 7 to September 11, 2020, trained researchers conducted 1to1 interviews(AAC) with 74 people recommended by specialized institutions. Data were analyzed by frequency-analysis, Chi-square-analysis and T-test using SPSS 25.0. As a result, the creation of community-level conditions(ex. housing and employment) and job aptitudes and preferences are important for the independent living and expectations and desires for social participation were high. It is different from the previous survey results through agents. It means the policy for the developmentally disabled should be based on their needs and aim for 'living in the community as a community member'. Based on these results, the implications of supporting decision-making for the ordinary lives of people with developmental disabilities were suggested.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of teaching communication training using $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip on communication competency and interpersonal relations of nursing students. Methods: The participants were 79 nursing students (41 in the intervention group, 38 in the control group). A nonequivalent control group design was used. The research was carried out from September 7 to November 20, 2015. Teaching communication skills using $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip were provided to the intervention group 180 minutes/session once a week for 9 weeks. Data were analyzed using chi-square test, independent t-test and ANCOVA with SPSS/PC version 21.0. Results: The intervention group reported significantly higher scores of communication competency(F=8.41, p=.005) and interpersonal relations(F=8.97 p=.004) compared to those of the control group at the completion of the intervention. Conclusion: The findings of this study show that $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip is an effective communication training for improving communication competency and interpersonal relations in nursing students. A randomized clinical trial is needed to confirm the value of communication training using $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip for nursing students.

The purpose of this study is to review the effect of internal marketing on job satisfaction in food service industry. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data are gathered and analysed from 438 employees and their superiors for measuring employees' service quality fromKangwon province. Multiple regression is applied to test the proposed 2 hypotheses: the relationship between internal marketing and intrinsic job satisfaction, and the relationship between internal marketing and extrinsic job satisfaction. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, management support, internal communication and employment security have positive relationships with intrinsic job satisfaction. Second, management support, training & education has positive effect on extrinsic job satisfaction and employment security have positive relationships with extrinsic job satisfaction.

The purposes of this study is to identify the critical success factors for the 4th industrial revolution through literature review and to empirically evaluate the validity of these factors through questionnaires from executives engaging in the industries of the 4th industrial revolution. Literature review identifies leadership, change management, top management support, strategic fit, training, empowerment, teamwork, organizational culture, communication, and project management as ten critical success factors, Questionnaires were administered to CIOs and CEOs in the industries belong to the 4th industrial revolution. Response rate was 64.4% which shows quite high participation. Respondents rated strategic fit as the most important factor, followed by top management support, leadership, change management, project management, teamwork, communication, training, organizational culture, and empowerment. To successfully pursue the 4th industrial revolution, the followings are recommended. (1) detailed and refined execution strategy, (2) establishment of effective network among government, public companies, research institutes, universities, and industries, (3) strategic and long-term plan, (4) differentiated execution strategy from other countries and global cooperation system.

This paper aims to examine the role of mediating effect of trust to leaders on the relation between internal marketing and customer orientation. A survey was conducted to examine the responses of 570 employees. Reliability, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equal modeling were used for results. The following are the summary of hypothesis test. First, internal marketing has positive effect on customer orientation. Second, internal marketing has positive effect on employee's trust to leaders. Third, trust to leaders has positive effect on customer orientation. Fourth, the mediating effects of trust to leaders partially mediated the relationships among empowerment, training, reward, internal communication and customer orientation and fully mediated the relationship between management support and customer orientation. Therefore, the results of this study have many theoretical and practical implications.

The pilot's role is absolutely critical to the safety of an airline. It can be predicted that there is a difference in the acquisition of pilot competency required in actual flight at the initial flight training stage. In this study, the progress and effects of education and training for each background are analyzed, and differentiated competency-based training is to be studied. By sampling a sample of civil airline pilots, we are trying to determine whether there is a difference in the results of the regular proficiency check among the eight competencies defined by ICAO according to military and civil backgrounds. Accordingly, an independent t-test was conducted to test the average difference between the two groups, from the military and civilian origin, to confirm the average difference in the piloting competency between the groups. Based on these results, it will be helpful to design future training courses.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of assertiveness training on nurses' assertive behaviors, interpersonal relations, communication conflicts, conflict management style and personnel turnover rate. Method: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used in this study, Nurses were assigned into the experimental or control groups, each consisting of 39 nurses. Data was collected between January to March 2004. An 'Assertiveness Training Program' for Nurses developed by Park was used for the study. To emphasize assertiveness practice, 5 practice sessions utilizing ABCDE principles were added to Park's program. To examine the effects of the program, differences between the two groups in assertive behaviors, interpersonal relations, communication conflicts, conflict management style and personnel turnover rate were analyzed using ANCOVA. Results: The assertiveness training was effective in improving the nurses' assertiveness behaviors, but was not effective in improving interpersonal relations, reducing the subjects' communication conflicts, changing the conflict management style or reducing their personnel turnover rate. Conclusion: There have been many studies about factors affecting nurses' personnel turnover rates, but few have been done about methods of intervention to reduce the personnel turnover rate. Thus, this study provides a significant contribution in attempting such an intervention from nursing management perspectives.

Purpose: Communication skills are considered as one of the essential requirements in medical education, and the training often involves exercising medical interviews with standardized patients(SP) or role play. This study investigated the helpfulness of the communication skills training programs for students' performance on the clinical performance examination (CPX). Methods: Fourth-year students who have taken one of two communication skills programs(exercising communication skills with SP or elective communication skill course with role play) completed a questionnaire on their evaluation of the helpfulness of communication skills programs immediately after finishing the CPX. Then, the programs were objectively assessed by comparing all fourth-year students' CPX scores between program participants and non-participants. Results: About 70% of participants answered that the programs were helpful to perform clinical clerkship and CPX. However, there was no difference in either the total CPX score or 2 categorical scores(integrated clinical encounter, communication and interpersonal skill) between program participants and non-participants. Conclusion: Although the students felt that the communication skills programs were helpful to their clinical activities, this study failed to find objective evidence of any effect of the programs on the CPX results. Communication skills training should be continued during clinical clerkship to maintain or enhance the skills, and it is necessary to introduce more effective methods for precise evaluation of students' communication skills.
