A Study of VPN Performance on HFC Network (HFC망에서의 VPN성능에 관한 연구)

  • 어디서나 접속할 수 있는 인터넷의 광역성과 최근 들어 인터넷을 통한 전자상거래의 급진전, 네트웍을 통한 다양한 형태의 원격 접속 확대 등으로 이제 많은 기업들이 통신비가 상대적으로 저렴하면 서도 기밀성이 보장되는 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network(IP VPN) 도입을 서두르고 있다 VPN은 공중망 인프라를 공유하여 구축된 가상 사설망을 의미한다. IP VPN으로 기업은 본사와 지사를 연결하는 Intranet, 협력사와 연결되는 Extranet 그리고 최근 들어 급증하고 있는 이동 근무자와 재택 근무자를 회사에 안전하게 연결시킬 수 있는 원격 접속 등을 경제적으로 구축할 수 있다. 또한 광케이블과 동축케이블이 혼합된 Hybrid Fiber & Coaxial(HFC)망이 초고속인터넷, 디지털방송, 주문형비디오(VOD) 등의 멀티미디어 서비스를 수용하기에 가장 좋은 방안으로 최근 각광을 받고 있다. HFC망은 기존의 CATV망을 기반으로 하므로 신규 투자비가 적게 들면서도 다양한 형태의 고속 데이터 통신이 가능하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 HFC망에서의 IP VPN의 성능을 전송 프로토콜과 암호화 알고리즘을 달리 하면서 어떤 요소가 성능에 얼마나 영향을 주는지와 요소간 상호작용이 어떻게 일어나는지, 또한 어떤 조합으로 VPN 통신을 할 때 가장 좋은 성능을 보이는지를 비교 분석한다.

Social Perception of the Invention Education Center as seen in Big Data (빅데이터 분석을 통한 발명 교육 센터에 대한 사회적 인식)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the social perception of invention education center using big data analysis method. For this purpose, data from January 2014 to September 2021 were collected using the Textom website as a keyword searched for 'invention+education+center' in blogs, cafes, and news channels of NAVER and DAUM website. The collected data was refined using the Textom website, and text mining analysis and semantic network analysis were performed by the Textom website, Ucinet 6, and Netdraw programs. The collected data were subjected to a primary and secondary refinement process and 60 keywords were selected based on the word frequency. The selected key words were converted into matrix data and analyzed by semantic network analysis. As a result of text mining analysis, it was confirmed that 'student', 'operation', 'Korea Invention Promotion Association', and 'Korean Intellectual Property Office' were the meaningful keywords. As a result of semantic network analysis, five clusters could be identified: 'educational operation', 'invention contest', 'education process and progress', 'recruitment and support for business', and 'supervision and selection institution'. Through this study, it was possible to confirm various meaningful social perceptions of the general public in relation to invention education center on the internet. The results of this study will be used as basic data that provides meaningful implications for researchers and policy makers studying for invention education.

Embedding algorithms among hypercube and star graph variants (하이퍼큐브와 스타 그래프 종류 사이의 임베딩 알고리즘)

  • Hypercube and star graph are widely known as interconnection network. The embedding of an interconnection network is a mapping of a network G into other network H. The possibility of embedding interconnection network G into H with a low cost, has an advantage of efficient algorithms usage in network H, which was developed in network G. In this paper, we provide an embedding algorithm between HCN and HON. HCN(n,n) can be embedded into HON($C_{n+1},C_{n+1}$) with dilation 3 and HON($C_d,C_d$) can be embedded into HCN(2d-1,2d-1) with dilation O(d). Also, star graph can be embedded to half pancake's value of dilation 11, expansion 1, and average dilation 8. Thus, the result means that various algorithms designed for HCN and Star graph can be efficiently executed on HON and half pancake, respectively.

Analysis of Public Perception and Policy Implications of Foreign Workers through Social Big Data analysis (소셜 빅데이터분석을 통한 외국인근로자에 관한 국민 인식 분석과 정책적 함의)

  • This paper aimed to look at the awareness of foreign workers in social platforms by using text mining, one of the big data techniques and draw suggestions for foreign workers. To achieve this purpose, data collection was conducted with search keyword 'Foreign Worker' from Jan. 1, to Dec. 31, 2020, and frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis, and degree centrality analysis and 100 parent keywords were drawn for comparison. Furthermore, Ucinet6.0 and Netdraw were used to analyze semantic networks, and through CONCOR analysis, data were clustered into the following eight groups: foreigner policy issue, regional community issue, business owner's perspective issue, employment issue, working environment issue, legal issue, immigration issue, and human rights issue. Based on such analyzed results, it identified national awareness of foreign workers and main issues and provided the basic data on policy proposals for foreign workers and related researches.

  • The main purpose of this study was to use Deep Learning based Topic Modeling and Semantic Network Analysis to examine research trend of arts management-related papers in korea. For this purpose, research subjects such as 'The Journal of Cultural Policy', 'The Journal of Cultural Economics', 'The Journal of Culture Industry', 'The Journal of Arts Management', and 'The Journal of Human Content', which are the registered journal of the National Research Foundation of Korea directly or indirectly related to arts management field. From 1988 to 2017, a total of 2,110 domestic journals' signature, abstract, and keyword were analyzed. We tried Big Data analysis such as Topic Modeling and Semantic Network Analysis to examine changes in trends in arts management. The analysis program used open software R and standard statistical software SPSS. Based on the results of the analysis, the implications and limitations of the study and suggestions for future research were discussed. And the potential for development of convergent research such as Arts & Artificial Intelligence and Arts & Big Data.

  • This study derives evaluation terms by analyzing the semantic relationship between design elements and sentiment terms in regards to fashion design. As for research methods, a total of 38,225 texts from Daum and Naver Blogs from November 2015 to October 2016 were collected to analyze the parts, frequency, centrality and semantic networks of the terms. As a result, design elements were derived in the form of a noun while fashion image and user's emotional responses were derived in the form of adjectives. The study selected 15 noun terms and 52 adjective terms as evaluation terms for men's striped shirts. The results of semantic network analysis also showed that the main contents of the users of men's striped shirts were derived as characteristics of expression, daily wear, formation, and function. In addition, design elements such as pattern, color, coordination, style, and fit were classified with evaluation results such as wide, bright, trendy, casual, and slim.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 다중 컴퓨터의 위상으로 하이퍼-스타 그래프를 제안하고, 하이퍼-스타 그래프에 대하여 주요 망 척도인 분지수, 연결도, 확장성, 라우팅, 지름, 임베딩 등의 특징을 분석한다. 하이퍼-스타 그래프 HS(2n,n)에 에지를 한 개 추가한 folded 하이퍼-스타 그래프 FHS(2n,n)은 2nCn개의 노드를 갖고 널리 알려진 상호 연결망인 하이퍼큐브에 비해 상대적으로 분지수와 지름이 작은 값을 갖는 연결망이다. Folded 하이퍼-스타 그래프 FHS(2n,n)가 하이퍼큐브 Qn이 같은 노드 수를 가질 때 분지수$\times$지름에 대한 척도에 있어서 은 n2/2보다 작고, 하이퍼큐브 Qn와 그의 변형들보다 연결망의 망 비용에 있어서 우수함을 의미한다. 또한 하이퍼큐브 Qn과 n$\times$n 토러스를 하이퍼-스타 그래프 HS(2n,n)에 연장비율 2에 임베딩하는 방법을 보인다.

A Study on the Semantic Network Structure of the Regime in the Image Contents (영상콘텐츠분야의 정권별 의미연결망 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the semantic network analysis to understand image contents and to examine the degree to which words, word clusters contributed to the formation of semantic map within image contents. For this research, from 1993 until 2016 the field of the image contents were collected for a total of 2,624 cases papers. The word appeared in Title analyzed the social network by using the R program of Big Data. The results were as follows: First, The field of image contents is based on researches related to 'image', 'media' and 'contents'. Second, there is a three-step flow ('education' -> 'media' -> 'contents') of research in the field of image contents. Third, researches related to 'broadcasting', 'digital', 'technology', and 'production' were continuously carried out. Finally, There were new research subjects for each regime.

Effects of selfie semantic network analysis and AR camera app use on appearance satisfaction and self-esteem (셀피의 의미연결망 분석과 AR 카메라 앱 사용이 외모만족도와 자아존중감에 미치는 영향)

  • Image-oriented information is becoming increasingly important on social networking services (SNS); the background of this trend is the popularity of selfies. Currently, camera applications using augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are gaining traction. An AR camera app is a smartphone application that converts selfies into various interesting forms using filters. In this study, we investigated the change of keywords according to the time flow of selfies in Goolgle News articles through semantic network analysis. Additionally, we examined the effects of using an AR camera app on appearance satisfaction and self-esteem when taking a selfie. Semantic network analysis revealed that in 2013, postings of specific people were the most prominent selfie-related keywords. In 2019, keywords appeared regarding the launch of a new smartphone with a rear-facing camera for selfies; in 2020, keywords related to communication through selfies appeared. As a result of examining the effect of the degree of use of the AR camera app on appearance satisfaction, it was found that the higher the degree of use, the higher the user's interest in appearance. As a result of examining the effect of the degree of use of the AR camera app on self-esteem, it was found that the higher the degree of use, the higher the user's negative self-esteem.

A Study of the Consumer Major Perception of Packaging Using Big Data Analysis -Focusing on Text Mining and Semantic Network Analysis- (빅데이터 분석을 통한 패키징에 대한 소비자의 주요 인식 조사 -텍스트 마이닝과 의미연결망 분석을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the consumer perception of packaging using big data analysis. This study use text mining to extract meaningful words from text and semantic network analysis to analyze connectivity and propagation trends. Data were collected by dividing the 'packaging(Korean)' and 'packaging(English)'. This study visualized the word network structure of the two key words and classified them into four groups with similar meaning through CONCOR analysis. The group name was specified based on the words constituting the classified group. These groups are a major category of consumers' perception of packaging. Especially cosmetics and design have high frequency of words and high centrality. Therefore it can be expected that the packaging design is perceived as important in the cosmetics industry. This study predicts consumers' perception of packaging so it can be a basis for future research and industry development.
