  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between university students' interest in appearance management and various forms of appearance management behaviors converged with beauty trends. The questionnaire was distributed for 15 days from April 15 to 30, 2018 to the students in the G district. The data of 267 students who explained and agreed on the purpose and method of the study were analyzed using SPSS 18. University students' interest in appearance management showed a difference of interest according to university students, male and female students in body composition management, skin care, hair care, and cosmetics use management except for interest in health care. In addition, students with a high level of interest in managing cosmetics use had a positive effect on the degree of interest in managing cosmetics usage in fashion styles, cosmetics style, skin care, and body management behavior factors that were converged with trends. And negative (-) influence on the use of health equipment. Based on the study of the trend management behaviors of college students, I will expect to utilize the reference materials for new product development research of the beauty industry and will continue to study the new management mode of appearance management.

  • This study was convergence study to determine sleep and its factors in university students on the basis of Spielman's 3P model. The participants were 191 graduate and undergraduate students who were scheduled to take the exam after 1~2 weeks. The related variables of quality of sleep were self-control, stress, test anxiety, smartphone dependence, and daytime sleepiness. Chi-square test and t-test were used to make a comparison of the quality of sleep between the good and the bad sleep quality group. Pearson's coefficient correlation analysis was performed for correlation between the quality of sleep and the general characteristics, self-control, stress, test anxiety, smartphone dependence, and daytime sleepiness. Stress and test anxiety as precipitating factors for sleep disturbance, smartphone dependency as a perpetuating factor for sleep disorder, and daytime sleepiness as a sleep-related factor were correlated with the quality of sleep; no statistically significant correlation was found with self-control as a predisposing factor in the biopsychological area. It is necessary to solve such problems with mental health as stress and test anxiety, which are factors for sleep disturbance, and smartphone dependency as a perpetuating factor for sleep disorder, in pursuit of higher quality of sleep for university students.

  • In this study, the factors of the industrial complexes were analyzed in a comprehensive review, and the research model was developed and related variables were adopted to the purpose of this study. Also, the determinants of location are analyzed by three factors of infrastructure stabilization, industrial resource access, and residential neighborhood factors. For the analysis of this study, the hypothesis was analyzed through the path analysis of the SEM through the set hypotheses based on the research model. As a result of analysis, it is analyzed that TI factors and RA factors of infrastructure, IF group, are both influenced by industrial location. In addition, there is a statistically significant correlation in the analysis between the parameters of the NEF and the determinants of industrial location. The results of this study are expected to provide useful guidelines for industrial infrastructure development and industrial complex development projects at national and local government.

  • There is an increasing attention on the sustainable energy in the world as the problem of fossil energy exhaustion and environmental issues appear. This paper addresses technologies and industries related to hydrogen energy in the literature, and develops strategy for the preparation of hydrogen energy infrastructure in Korea by extracting several factors suitable for SWOT analysis after reviewing literature. Research articles and reports about the practical application of hydrogen energy in the literature were investigated and seventy evaluation factors were extracted. Then, survey to eliminate the unsuitability problems of duplication, disproportion and objectivity was performed by scholars and experts in research institutes. Finally, sixteen factors consisting of 4 strength factors, 4 weakness factors, 5 opportunity factors and 4 threat factors were determined as the strategic factors for the infrastructure of hydrogen energy industry.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify convergence factors related to glycemic control in workers with diabetes mellitus. A secondary data analysis was conducted using the data of "The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2009-2013." The survey included 44,085 adults aged over 19 under 65 years with diabetes mellitus and 764 samples with worker were used for this study. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 18.0 program and descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regression analyses were performed. The general characteristics variables shown statistically significant difference between the good and the poor glycemic control group was gender. The Health behavior-related and disease-related variables shown statistically significant difference between the good and the poor glycemic control group were diabetes mellitus duration, diabetes mellitus treatment, hypertension diagnosis, smoking, moderate physical activity, walking exercise practice. Factors related to glycemic control were gender, diabetes mellitus treatment, walking exercise practice. These findings suggest that researchers need more active treatment and walking exercise as important factors affecting glycemic control of Korean worker with diabetes mellitus and intervention focusing on the issues needs to be developed in workplace environment.

  • The purpose of this converged study was to examine the influencing factors on occupational stress in Korean workers. Data were collected with a convenience sample of 207 male workers living in Jeollanam-do region. The structured questionnaires measured the general and job-related factors, social support, and occupational stress. The results were as follows. (1) About half of participants had higher scores in occupational stress. (2) The annual income, supervisors' support, and coworkers' support were statistically significant variables predicting the level of occupational stress among Korean workers, accounting for 36% of the variability. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to establish strategic workforce planning for workers to reduce occupational stress.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing sleep disturbance among benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) patients in South Korea. A trained reporter filled out the questionnaire by explaining and reading the sentences to 164 BPH patients in J city. The questionnaire consisted of international prostate symptom score (IPSS), anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance. There was a statistically significant difference in sleep disturbance of participants according to income, regular exercise, and number of disease. There were statistically significant correlations between sleep disturbance and IPSS (r=.45, p<.001), anxiety (r=.59, p<.001), depression (r=.42, p<.001). The influential factors for sleep disturbance were anxiety (${\beta}=.41$, p<.001), income (${\beta}=-.36$, p<.001), IPSS (${\beta}=.28$, p=.021). These factors accounted for 41.2% of the variance in sleep disturbance. The result of this study can be used as a basic data for development of a management strategy considering convergent relationship between IPSS and anxiety in order to decrease sleep disturbance of BPH patients.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a Disaster Nursing Preparedness Response Competency(DNPRC) Scale in terms of convergence and to verify its validity and reliability. Based on ICN Framework of the Disaster Nursing Competencies, DNPRC was developed through literature review. Participants was 292 nurses. Content Validitys, Construct Validity, and Reliability was verified through the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, Convergent validity was tested by Pearson's coefficient correlation between DNPRC and DPQ-N. DNPRC was 5point likert scale with a total 34 item, consisting of 3 3 factosr, 16item of preparedness,4 factors, 18item of response. The reliability was Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.96$. This study may be useful to identify a disaster nursing competency and its related factors for nurse, and to develop nursing intervention to imprive nurses' disaster nursing competency.

  • This study was conducted to identify convergence factors affecting smoking behavior among college students through the lens of a Health Belief Model. A descriptive study was carried out with 417 college students in Jeju, South Korea. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 19.0 program. The results showed that sex(t=-7.44, p<.001), pocket money(t=-2.06, p=.040), smoking in the family(t=4.43, p<.001), smoking of close friends(t=9.59, p<.001), and perceived barriers(t=0.87, p=.014), cues to action(t=6.33, p<.001) were statistically significant variables influencing smoking. These findings indicate that among smoking-related and health belief-related variables needs to be considered for preventive and therapeutic approach to stop smoking in college students.
