Regularization Length in Single Plane Cable-stayed Concrete Bridge (1면 케이블 콘크리트 사장교의 응력 불균일 영역길이)

  • 세그먼트 자중 등에 의한 휨모멘트와 케이블 수직압축력에 의한 합성응력이 발생되고 바닥판 경간비가 변하는 사장교의 시공단계에서는 전단지연의 영향범위가 다를 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 1면 케이블 콘크리트 박스 사장교를 대상으로 시공단계시 보강형에 고려되어야 할 합성응력에 의한 유효플랜지폭을 분석하였다. 그 결과 바닥판 경간비가 0.38 이하의 범위에서 보강형의 전폭을 유효플랜지폭으로 적용할 수 있는 것으로 해석되었다. 따라서 시공단계시 변화되는 바닥판 경간비의 크기에 관계없이 전폭을 유효플랜지폭으로 반영하는 실무관행은 안전측 설계가 되지 못할 수 가 있다. 바닥판 경간비가 작아짐에 따라서는 전폭과 캔틸레버 구조계로 유효플랜지폭을 결정하는 것이 타당하다. 이 연구에서는 수직력에 대한 도로교설계기준의 유효플랜지폭 규정에 대한 평가도 수행하였다.

Punching Shear Performance Evaluation of Foundation by Enforcement-length of Shear Head Reinforcement (전단 보강재의 보강길이에 따른 기초판의 뚫림전단 성능평가)

  • This study was made to examine the motion characteristics according to the reinforcement of the reinforcement length and stiffener reinforcement for shear reinforcement to the foundation structure reinforced with shear reinforcement steel plate. Experimental study was made after specimen was installed on the ground as the same as in the practical site. Reinforcement lengths of the steel for shear reinforcement are divided into 1,000 mm, 1,200 mm and 1,400 mm in the specimen and as for reinforcement method of the stiffener, 4 stiffeners with interval of 100mm reinforced with the same materials as the shear reinforcement were manufactured for the experiment. Considering result of the experiment, it is expressed that no effect of the stiffener reinforcement was found and regarding the reinforcement length of shear reinforcement material the crossed point of the two converted lines of the value that the shear force is expressed in the bearing power in the expanded dangerous section and the value that the shear capacity receivable by the reinforcement materials in the dangerous section is proposed as effective reinforcement length.

  • 본 논문은 IPTV, VoD와 같은 대용량의 비디오 스트리밍 트래픽을 처리함에 있어 큐 길이 변화를 최소화할 수 있는 SCQ(Smoothly Changing Queue) 스케줄링 방안을 제안한다. SCQ는 벌크하게 유입되는 스트리밍 트래픽에 대해 유입되는 패킷 양 및 속도를 고려하여 서비스율을 제어함으로써 큐 길이 변화율을 최소화할 수 있다. 벌크 특성을 갖는 스트리밍 서비스 전달에 있어 종단간 낮은 지연변이를 유지할 수 있으며 제안 방안을 이용할 경우 보다 안정적으로 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 제안 방안의 유효성을 확인하기 위해 우리는 큐잉 모델을 이용하였으며, 그 결과 기존 평균 큐길이 기반 스케줄링 방안보다 낮은 큐길이 변화율을 보임을 확인하였다.

  • 암석의 파괴인성계수(fracture toughness)는 균열의 성장에 대한 암석의 저항을 나타낸다. 실험실에서 측정한 파괴인성계수는 일반적인 암석의 불균질성이나 이방성 외에도 시험편의 형상이나 하중조건에 의하여 크게 영향을 받는다. 따라서, 제한된 수의 시험편을 사용하여 측정된 파괴인성계수는 자료의 분산이 심하므로 실제 적용에 있어서 문제가 된다. 균열감응도란 파괴인성계수의 측정에 사용되는 시험편의 형상에 따라 결정되는 지수로서, 시험편의 파괴가 균열의 성장에 의한 것인지, 혹은 인장강도에 의한 것인지를 판별하는 기준이 된다. 이러한 균열감응도를 파악하여 암석의 파괴인성계수 측정에 유효한 시험편의 크기나 초기균열 길이의 범위를 설정할 수 있다. 이는 또한 실험실에서 측정된 차괴인성계수의 유효성 여부를 판별하는 기준으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 암석의 파괴인성계수의 측정에 흔히 사용되는 몇 가지 형태의 시험편들에 대하여 균열감응도를 계산하고 이에 따른 초기균열 길이의 범위를 제시하고자 한다.

Accurate RF Extraction Method for Gate Voltage-Dependent Carrier Velocity of Sub-0.1㎛ MOSFETs in the Saturation Region (Sub-0.1㎛ MOSFET의 게이트전압 종속 캐리어 속도를 위한 정확한 RF 추출 방법)

  • A new method using RF Ids determined from measured S-parameters is proposed to extract the gate-voltage dependent effective carrier velocity of bulk MOSFETs in the saturation region without additional dc Ids measurement data suffering parasitic resistance effect that becomes larger with continuous down-scaling to sub-$0.1{\mu}m$. This method also allows us to extract the carrier velocity in the saturation region without the difficult extraction of bias-dependent parasitic gate-source capacitance and effective channel length. Using the RF technique, the electron velocity overshoot exceeding the bulk saturation velocity is observed in bulk N-MOSFETs with a polysilicon gate length of $0.065{\mu}m$.

  • A large-signal time-domain model is implemented to analyze an FG-LD (Fiber Grating Laser Diode) in which a reflective laser diode is hybrid-integrated with a fiber Bragg grating (FBG). When the length of the externally integrated resonator is 8 mm, in which the effective FBG length of 2.1 mm is included, a static frequency chirp of 0.44 GHz and a dynamic frequency chirp of 6.4 GHz are observed. In addition, it is also observed that the eye of the 10Gbps NRZ signal is well open. The FG-LD is expected to be a cost-effective solution for a 10Gbps-class single wavelength laser covering a span of 50 km range.

Study for Rigid and Flexible Pipe Interaction at the Crossing Point of Underground Pipeline Network (지하 매설 교차 관망 내 강.연성관의 상호작용에 관한 연구)

  • The result of this research explains an interactive behavior of buried steel pipe located below hume pipe using concept of effective depth and effective length against their intersection angle and burial distance. The cover depth of upper rigid (hume) pipe is 1.0m and depth range of flexible (steel) pipe is 0.5m to 5m from beneath bottom of hume pipe. And one more variable is their intersection angle in this study, it was considered from $0^{\circ}$ to $90^{\circ}$. From the results of this study, the effective depth is proportionally increasing with its intersection angle and decreasing with distance increment between two pipes. Finally, the relationship between effective length and summation of occurred bending stress is defined.

A study on the compatibility of implant drivers (임플란트 드라이버의 호환성에 대한 연구)

  • Purpose: In this study, the diameter of each implant driver was measured and compared to find out the compatibility of implant drivers. Materials and methods: Drivers from 12 implant systems being used in Dankook University Dental Hospital were included in this study. The shapes of the implant drivers were segregated, and the effective length and the diameter of upper, middle, lower part of driver tips were measured (n=10). The measured data were mathematically analyzed for its compatibility. Results: A driver with the smallest diameter (1.17 mm) had the highest compatibility at the upper part of driver tip. This driver could be used for a bigger driver up to 1.35 mm in diameter. There were several driver groups which had the same diameter so as to be interchangeable each other. In the middle part, the smallest diameter measured was 1.2 mm and this was able to replace a driver up to 1.40 mm diameter. Since the diameter generally became thicker from upper part (the tip of driver) to the lower part (the shank of driver), some drivers with bigger diameter at the upper part so which was failed to show any compatibility became compatible with a driver which had smaller diameter at the upper part but wider in the middle part. The compatibility of torx shape drivers were affected by the inner diameter of the drivers not only by the outer diameter. Furthermore, the inner diameter of torx drivers decided the compatibility between torx and hex drivers. Conclusion: From the study it was found that compatibility in drivers existed among certain implant systems and to check its compatibility the diameter at a certain effective length should be measured. However, there has been not enough studies about long-term use of compatible drivers, so effects of using compatible drivers on drivers and implants are unknown. Therefore, usage in inevitable cases only is recommended and further study is needed.

An Improved Stability Design of Plane Frames using System Buckling and Second-order Elastic Analysis (탄성좌굴 고유치 및 2차 탄성해석법을 이용한 평면강절프레임의 개선된 좌굴설계법)

  • An improved stability design method for beam-columns of plane frames is proposed based on system buckling analysis and second-order elastic analysis. For this, the tangent stiffness matrix of beam-column elements is first derived using stability functions and a procedure for evaluating effective buckling lengths is reviewed using elastic system buckling analysis. And then the second-order analysis procedure is presented considering $P-\Delta$ effects and is compared with the closed-form solution through numerical examples. Design examples showing the validity of the proposed method we presented and their numerical results are compared with those obtained from the conventional stability design methods. Finally some useful conclusions are drawn.

Experimental Study on Bond Strength between Carbon Fiber Sheet and Concrete (탄소섬유쉬트와 콘크리트의 부착강도 실험연구)

  • Carbon fiber sheet(CFS) has been widely used for strengthening of the concrete building structures due to its excellent physical properties such as high strength, light weight and high durability. Bond strength or behavior, on the other hands, between carbon fiber sheet and concrete is very important in strengthening the concrete member using CFS. Therefore the bond failure mechanism between CFS and concrete should be fully verified and understood. This study is to investigate the bond strength of CFS to the concrete by the direct pull-out test and the tensile-shear test. In the direct pull-out tests, the bond strength under the various environmental conditions such as curing temperature, surface condition on concrete and water content of concrete are evaluated. Also, the effective bond length, lu and the average bond stress, $\tau$y are examined in the tensile-shear tests. Based on the test results, it is concluded that the curing temperature is the most critical element for the bond strength between CFS and concrete. And, the proper value of lu and $\tau$y is recommended with 15 cm and 9.78∼ 11.88 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ respectively.
