The Impact of Nomad Physical Activity Through Online Videos of Active Seniors on Physical Self-Perception and Successful Aging (엑티브시니어의 온라인 동영상을 통한 노마드 체육활동이 신체적자기지각과 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide academic basic data by identifying the effects of active seniors' online video physical activity on physical self-perception and successful aging. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 10 active seniors in D city were selected, and after receiving consent to participate in online video physical activity, it was divided into pre and post, and from March 14 to April 22, 2022, Kakao Talk group chat was opened to watch online physical activity videos during the 12th session, download 2 videos a week, and exercise from Monday to Friday. To solve the research problem, frequency analysis and paired t-test were conducted using the SPSS Ver20.0 statistical program. As a result, first, as a result of analyzing the pre- and post-tests of physical self-perception through physical activity of active seniors, all of face satisfaction, body satisfaction, change in physical strength, and change in disease increased on average. Second, as a result of pre- and post-analysis of active seniors' successful aging through physical activity, acceptance of others, orientation toward self-fulfillment, self-acceptance, and satisfaction with children increased, but autonomous life and active participation in life decreased. Through these results, in the COVID-19 period, when activities were restricted due to social distancing, active seniors' online video physical activity has a positive effect on physical self-perception and successful aging, and various programs that can be active on their own should be developed in the future.

An Analysis of Recognitions of the Programs Offered by a 'Science Education Institute' as a Type of Informal Science Education Institution (학교 밖 과학 교육 기관으로서 '과학교육원' 운영 프로그램에 대한 인식 분석)

  • In this study, we analyze the strengths and limitations of student convergence education and teacher-training programs offered by a science education institute in the capital region and provide suggestions for organizing and running similar programs in other science education institutes and schools. Reviews of relevant literature and interviews with internal and external expert groups were conducted, and an analytic framework was developed. Based on the framework, we collected data using focus group interviews and email communications with experts. The data were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods within two areas, namely, convergence education programs for students and teacher-training programs. The data analysis results revealed the status of student convergence education and teacher-training programs in the institute. Furthermore, we also provided suggestions for improving programs in other informal science education institutes and schools through the interaction between the two areas in the framework and educational and social needs.

  • 인성 교육은 창의성 교육과 더불어 교육 개혁 과제의 핵심이자 새 학교 문화 창조의 밑바탕으로 일선 교육 현장에서 최우선으로 해결해야 할 당면 과제이다. 교육의 궁극적인 목적이 '인간에 의한, 인간을 위한, 인간의 교육' 임을 알고 있으면서도 다양한 체험 활동을 통한 인성 교육을 등한시하고 지식을 중시하는 지식 편중의 교육 활동을 전개하는 실정이다. 오늘날 교육은 웹의 풍부한 자원의 활용으로 새로운 교육형태, 학습모형 등이 점차 확산되어 가고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 학생들에게 풍부한 학습환경 제공과 비례하여 극단적인 이기풍조는 여전히 우리의 삶을 위협하고 교육을 저해하는 요인이 되고 있다. 이러한 교육적 현실로 전통적인 학습방법에서 탈피하여 사이버 공간의 학급홈페이지를 이용한 인성교육의 프로그램을 개발하여 좀더 능동적이고 시간과 장소에 제약을 받지 않는 자유로운 마음열기 대화활동을 통해서 아동들의 적성과 능력을 극대화하고 자아실현의 기쁨을 느끼게 하는 올바른 심성의 장 학급홈페이지 설계 및 구현을 통해 온라인 상에서 이루어지는 학생과 학생, 학생과 교사 등 상호작용의 장으로서 그 역할을 담당하고 쉽고 친숙한 학급홈페이지의 활용면에서 있어서도 성과가 있을 것이다.

An Analysis on Artificial Intelligence Education for Disadvantaged student (소외계층 학생의 인공지능 교육 실태 조사)

  • 본 논문에서는 인공지능 교육에서 소외계층의 지원 방안을 도출하기 위하여 소외계층과 일반 학생의 인공지능 교육과 관련된 여러 요인의 실태를 조사하였다. 실태 조사 결과를 소외계층과 일반 학생을 비교하여, 소외계층의 인공지능 교육에서 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 인공지능 교육 관련 실태를 조사할 수 있는 설문을 구성하였으며, 온라인을 통해 설문을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 소외계층 662명과 일반 학생 1,482명이 설문에 참여하였다. 소외계층은 일반 학생보다 인공지능에 대한 관심이 높았으며, 프로그램이 언어나 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 경험한 학생 비율이 높았다. 또한, 인공지능 직&·간접적 경험의 비율은 일반 학생과 비슷한 수준이었다. 하지만 인공지능 교육 경험 비율은 일반 학생이 약 20% 높았다. 이러한 내용을 종합하였을 때, 인공지능 교육에 대한 관심은 높지만, 인공지능 교육을 받는 학생의 비율은 낮은 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The alms of this study is to analyse the user's behavior, satisfaction, difficulties and selection of retrieval keywords for the use of Web-based OPAC in the College students. The methods of the questionnaire and the interview was applied to get the data and processed by using SPSSWIN 10.1. Several research results was proved the hypothesis such as differences between major subject of students in their fields. Furthermore, based on the result of this analysis, another purpose is to come up with the Improvements of functions prompting difficulties and answers to problems found in the Web OPAC, helping them to use the Web OPAC efficiently.

  • This pilot study evaluated the reach and efficacy of nurse training program to provide palliative care to patients with advanced chronic diseases. A mixed method was used (an one-group pre-post research design and a group interview). To examine the changes in knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy, paired t-test were used with SPSS 21.0. To obtain pivoting information in real settings, a content analysis was conducted in the data obtaining from a group interview. There were significant improvements on knowledge and self-efficacy scores after the program. Additionally, high retention rate and program satisfaction were found in the participants while recruitment strategies, especially nurses working for tertiary hospitals, need to be modified in future research. A full-fledged research is warranted to find effective strategies to implement and disseminate the program for nurses working in diverse settings.

Development and Evaluation of Home Economics Maker Education Program for High School Students: Focusing on the Contents of 'Hanbok and Creative Clothing' (고등학교 가정과 메이커 교육 프로그램 개발과 평가: '한복과 창의적인 의생활' 내용 요소를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest valuable maker education programs by implementing and evaluating a Home Economics(HE) maker education program developed based on the content of "Hanbok and Creative Clothing" for high school students. The results of this study are as follows. First, the HE maker education model for high school students was designed and developed. The HE maker education model was developed by integrating and modifying the TMSI model of the maker education model and Laster's HE practical action teaching model. The HE maker education model consisted of 4 steps: tinkering(T: 4-hour class), practical reasoning(P: 3-hour class), making together(M: 4-hour class), and sharing and spreading(S: 1-hour class) with a total of 12-hour lesson plans. The theme of the developed HE maker program is 'Practice and spread of creative traditional culture of life (Hanbok)'. Second, the results of online survey of 240 high school students who participated in this maker class showed that HE maker class had positive effects in the order of experiential(4.26), cognitive(4.22), emotional(4.18), social(4.18), and practical(4.10). It is expected that the findings of this study will contribute to diversifying the curriculum of Home Economics, thereby improving the quality of Home Economics Education.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze Korean and Japanese junior high school and high schools students to inquire into the attitudes these students have towards credit, the importance of credit related education, and the necessity of education on online credit. This will provide an insight into the problems associated with teenage credit related consumer education, and allow a solution to be brought up. The results of the research and the proposal are as follows. First, younger Korean teenagers are more passive in consumption than the same age group in Japan. Second, for Korean teenagers, the amount of allowance and savings were an important factor in the attitude towards credit. In Japan there was a discrepancy between gender groups in the attitude towards credit. Third, personal education sessions for teenagers and follow up is necessary. Fourth, since the current teenage population have been familiar with the internet all their lives, credit education should utilize this medium as a tool. Fifth, when looking into the requests Korean and Japanese young teenagers made on credit web sites, the contents and quality of information is more important than the outlook of the site itself. Sixth, there is a need to provide teenagers, who are accustomed to visual data, information, an experience opportunity, and access to related web sites.

Development and Effect of the Creative Problem Solving Capacity Education Program for University Freshmen Using Game component (게임적 요소를 활용한 대학 신입생의 창의적 문제해결 교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과)

  • This study analyzed the effectiveness by developing an online program to enhance collaborative problem-solving capabilities for college freshmen using gamification. According to the research results, the operational model of the online program for enhancing collaborative problem-solving capabilities using gamification was presented in five stages: 1 preparation, 2 team building, 3 assessment, 4 feedback, and 5 achievement sharing. The results of the "pre-test" and post T-test of creative problem-solving capabilities, the variables related to creative problem-solving skills, academic challenge, creative thinking ability, and convergence value creation have been significantly improved. What should be discussed in the future is the need to experience collaborative problem solving process online, and to develop game design and platform that can discuss and communicate.

Analysis of the Effectiveness on Online Fusion Science Program in Undergraduate General Education for Students Majoring in Science and Engineering: Focus on the NOS and STEAM Literacy (대학 교양교과 온라인 융합과학 프로그램이 이공계열 학생에게 미치는 효과 분석: 과학의 본성(NOS) 및 융합인재소양(STEAM Literacy) 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how fusion science program for undergraduate general education influences the understanding of Nature of Science (NOS) and STEAM Literacy of students majoring in science and engineering in college. The students participated in the pre/post NOS survey(Lee, 2013) and the STEAM literacy survey(Choi et al., 2013) in the program. The results of this study are as follows. First, the fusion program was effective in understanding the NOS because there is a statistically significant difference between the pre/post tests.(p < 0.01). Second, while there were no significant differences between genders, however, there is a significant difference in students' majors in NOS understanding(p < 0.05). Third, it showed that improvement in STEAM Literacy in Convergence and Creativity domains is significant(p < 0.01). By contrast, the Caring domain of STEAM Literacy was decreased statically significant(p < 0.01). In the end, there is no difference in STEAM Literacy between genders as well as among students' major(p < 0.05).
