This study aims to enhance child care teachers' ability to offer health care by developing an educational program for children's health care and safety. This study was carried out using a one-group pretest-posttest design based on a survey of 400 child care teachers in 3 cities. The educational program for child care teachers consisted of three parts: child health observations, disease management for child and emergency care for children. The educational program was conducted 3 times for 3 hours, totaling 9 hours. The educational program showed better grades of child care teachers in child health observation, emergency care for children, and disease management for children. The finding indicates that more child care teachers will adopt a health care education program to improve the quality of child care service.

This paper constructs a real-time monitoring system that can identify the individual positions of infants and their proximity to other infants using an Internet of Things (IoT)-based nameplate. The system consists of a precision location tracking module, a data transmission system for calculating gateway location information, a service platform server, and a data analysis processing module considering the development of infants and young children. The purpose of this study is to extract information about how infants interact with each other. The information gathered through this system can be used as important information to improve the peer relations of all infants and toddlers, from neglected infants to infants with no social development problems, to more popular infants. It is possible, based on the proximity information between infants and toddlers, that the teacher can identify positive interactions or negative interactions, and can educate infants on how to improve their peer relationships. These results can be used for consultation with parents, and the information collected through this system can be used as a database to establish a system for improving the relationships between infants and toddlers.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine levels of knowledge, attitude towards infant oral health, and related health behavior of parents. Methods: The sample consisted of 380 parents who were providing care for a child ranging in age from 11 to 16 months. Results: Participants obtained information on infant oral health via the internet, infant care books, and friends. While showing the correct attitude towards infant oral health, the parents were ill-informed regarding infant oral health and engaged in low levels of appropriate health behavior. There were statistically significant differences in infant oral health knowledge according to parents age, education, income, and age of infant. Attitude towards infant oral health was significantly different according to parents education and income. Also, there were significant differences in health behavior practice for infant oral health according to parents age, income, caregiver, and infant age. A significant positive relationship was found between knowledge and attitude to infant oral health. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that for maintenance and improvement of infant oral health, the parents and caregivers of infants should be provided with information and specific methods for infant oral health care.

다양한 삶의 질이 높아진 지금 인천국제공항에서는 영유아와 함께 비행기를 탑승하는 가족구성원을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다. 워라벨이 중시되고 긴 명절연휴를 맞아 해외 여행을 가는 것은 손쉬운 일이 되었다. 2013년 아시아나항공 213편 샌프란시스코 추락사고를 기억할 것이다. 당시 15개월 아기띠를 하고 있던 승객은 아기띠가 없었다면 아기를 잃었을 것이라는 인터뷰를 했다. 많은 국가가 영유아 안전벨트를 도입 및 장려를 하고 있지만, 아직 국내항공사는 영유아를 위한 안전벨트 도입에 소극적인 것을 알 수 있다. 유럽항공청 EASA에서 승인되어 사용하고 있는 영유아 안전벨트의 시스템을 살펴보고 예기치 못한 사고의 피해를 줄이기 위해 영유아 안전벨트의 필요성을 연구하고자 한다. 또한 도입에 따른 장애요인을 파악하고 대응 방안을 모색하여 국내항공사가 영유아 안전을 더욱 강화 할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영유아기는 자신에 대한 긍정적 사고를 바탕으로 남과 더불어 살아 갈 수 있는 능력의 기초를 이루는 사회 정서적 발달의 결정적 시기로서 영유아기의 발달이 성인기까지의 성공적인 삶에 영향을 미치지만, 잘못되는 경우 세대를 넘어서까지 전이되는 문제를 유발할 수 있다. 영유아의 발달에 영향을 미치는 요인 중에서도 가장 중요한 것은 어머니와의 상호작용이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 어머니가 자녀에게 미치는 영향은 지금까지 지속적으로 연구되어 왔으며, 그 중에서도 어머니의 양육태도에 연구의 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 그러나 양육자가 보이는 일반적인 경향을 나타내는 양육태도보다는 부모역할지능이 오히려 부모의 양육행동을 구체적으로 평가할 수 있는 현실적인 도구라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 맞벌이 가정의 증가로 보육시설에서 생활하는 시간이 많은 영유아의 내재화 및 외현화 문제에 어머니의 부모역할지능이 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 부모들이 점차 줄어드는 영육시간에도 불구하고 보다 성공적인 영유아 발달을 꾀하는데 도움이 되는 정보를 제공하는 한편 영유아의 보육시설에서도 영유아의 문제행동을 치유할 수 있는 프로그램의 개발에도 유익한 정보를 활용되도록 하고자 한다.

The subjects of this study were 64 young children aged 12 to 36 months old and their mothers and teachers. The attachment Q-set and an instrument for teachers' responsivity were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0, and Cronbach's and Pearson's r were calculated. The results were as follows. Teachers' consistency, warmth, and sensitivity were significantly correlated with the children's attachment to teachers. In addition, teachers' warm and sensitive responses were related to the children's attachment to mothers. Teachers' warm, sensitive, and responsive characteristics are emphasized for quality interactions between young children and teachers, since they contribute to the children's secure attachment to their mothers as well as teachers.

This study examined the influence of child care teachers' playfulness on teacher-child interactions. The mediating influence of the teacher's efficacy on these relationships was also examined. The study subjects were 293 child care teachers in Busan and Gyeongnam. The collected data were analyzed with a structural equation model to verify the structures and paths among the variables overall. The results were as follows. First, teachers' playfulness directly affected the teacher-child interactions. Second, the teacher's efficacy had a direct effect on the teacher-child interactions. Third, teachers' playfulness not only influenced the teacher-child interactions directly but also influenced teacher-child interactions through the teacher's efficacy. The study concludes with a discussion of the implications of the influence of child care teachers' playfulness on teacher-child interactions mediated by the teacher's efficacy.

코로나 바이러스-19 감염증 상황이 지속됨에 따라 영유아 비대면 상담이 증가하였다. 비대면이라는 제한된 환경에서, 보다 정확한 상담을 위해 영유아의 감정을 예측하는 보조도구로써 CNN 학습모델을 이용한 감정분석 결과를 활용할 수 있다. 하지만, 대부분의 감정분석 CNN 모델은 성인 데이터를 위주로 학습이 진행되므로 영유아의 감정인식률은 상대적으로 낮다. 본 논문에서는 영유아와 청소년 데이터의 감정분석 정확도 차이의 원인을 XAI 기법 중 하나인 LIME을 사용해 시각화하여 분석하고, 분석 결과를 근거로 영유아 데이터에 대한 감정인식 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine which variables of interest predicted young children's adjustment to childcare centers. The variables of interest in the study include children's individual variables(gender, age, and temperament), peer competence, and relationship with teachers. The subjects were 130 preschoolers aged 2 to 3 and their mothers and teachers. SPSS 15.0 program was used to analyze the data of the study. The results showed the statistically significant differences in children's adjustment to childcare centers by gender. Also, statistically significant relationships were found between children's adjustment to childcare centers and their temperament, peer competence, and relationship with teachers. Finally, the results of regression analyses revealed that children's conflicts with teachers, closeness to teachers, and leadership in peer competence were found to be the influential predictor of children's adjustment to childcare centers. Implications for research and practice were discussed in the light of the study results.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate web-sites related to infant health at day-care centers. A total of 87 web-sites were ultimately selected through Internet search engines, and educare sites. The basis of assessment in which standards and items were amended for the assessment of health information in previously used, and purpose, content, pertinence, accuracy, confidence, utility, authority, interactivity and continuance was assessed. Though the total score were 32 point, mean score was relatively low, 20.39 point. The score of accuracy and authority was relatively low while that of confidence and interactivity was high. As a result, it was revealed that there were no specific infant health related web-site with reliability guaranteed. Therefore, there is a need to develop a web-site providing accurate health information for infant at day-care centers. It is expected that these results can be utilized as a data for developing reliable web-site related infant health.
