초고압 전력기기의 기술동(전력케이블을 중심으로)

  • 현대 사회는 전기 에너지 없이는 하루도 유지될 수 없는 사회이다. 최근의 대도시 인구집중현상으로 전력수요의 밀도가 급격히 높아짐에 따라 전력전송의 중요성이 날로 증대되고 있으며, 이를 위한 전력 케이블은 전기 에너지를 전달하는 현대 문명 사회의 동맥으로 인정되고 있다. 전력 케이블은 1812년 러시아에서 shilling이 고무 절연선을 최초로 사용한 이후 절연 재료 및 생산 기술의 발전에 힘입어 현재에는 신뢰성 높은 제품이 송전 및 배전 선로에 사용되고 있다. 이러한 전력 케이블은 지절연 케이블과 고체절연 케이블로 대별되며, 케이블 상호간의 접속 및 가공선 또는 전기 기기와의 접속을 위해 접속함과 함께 실선로에 포설된다. 본 고에서는 전력 케이블과 그 접속함에 대한 기술 동향에 대하여 서술하고자 한다.

  • <2001 스페이스 오디세이(2001 : A Space Odyssey, 1968)>는 인간이 달에 도달하기 이전에 만들어진 영화임에도 불구하고 우주에서의 사운드를 현실적으로 표현하려고 노력했다. 우주에서 주인공이 우주복을 입었을 때 숨소리가 과장되게 들리게 함으로서 청자들에게 새로운 공간에 대한 사운드를 제시했고 소리가 전달되지 않는 우주의 특성을 활용해 과감하게 '사일런스(침묵)'를 앰비언스 개념으로 사용함으로서 이후에 나온 우주를 배경으로 한 SF영화에 음향적으로 많은 영향을 끼쳤다.

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전 전력을 스위칭 손실 없이 승압하여 밸런싱 회로를 통해 균일하게 전압을 양극성 직류배전망으로 전달하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템에 대한 컨버터 설계와 제어를 수행하고 이를 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • 영화는 시청각 예술이고 다양한 시청각적 기법을 활용하여 영화에서 이야기하고자 하는 주제를 전달한다. 형체가 없는 이야기는 시각과 청각을 통해 형상화되고 그 과정에서 나타나는 등장인물의 심리변화 역시 시청각적 도구를 활용해 표현할 수 있다. 본고에서는 영화 "펀치 드렁크 러브"를 연구대상으로 삼아 영화에서 숨겨진 심리를 표현하기 위한 음악적 기법 중 하나인 라이트모티브(Leitmotiv)를 통한 표현기법을 고찰한다. 이는 영화음악에서 인물 심리의 상징적인 표현에 대한 예시와 관점을 제시한다.

  • A cross drilling/milling Unit is an important mechanical part which is widely used in many kinds of machining tool, and various gear trains with good accuracy and reliability features are widely used in power transmission systems. A study on a novel power transmission optimization method for driving gear trains in cross drilling/milling units is presented in this paper. A commercial program for gear system simulation, Romax Designer, was used in this research to intuitively observe the gear meshing and the load distribution conditions on the gear teeth. We obtained the optimal modification value through comparing the results of repeated experiments. For validation, optimized gears were fabricated and then measured with a precision tester.

The effects of UIC Cooperation Programs on Youth Employment (정부 산학연협력 지원의 고용효과 분석)

  • In the rapid trend of social change, such as the 4th industrial revolution and the realignment of job structures, university-industry cooperation(UIC) is emphasized as a key factor in enhancing national competitiveness. The level of UIC in Korea is insufficient compared to national competitiveness, and despite the world-class R&D investment, there is a lack of linkage between the result of technology development and the industrial field, and the knowledge-transfer between university and industry is also insufficient. This paper analyzed the employment effects of UIC program supported by government, especially youth employment effects. The companies participating in the UIC program showed higher employment effect than the non-participating companies. In addition, the result of examining the employment growth rate of participating companies only for projects aimed at 'education and human resource development', show that employment growth rate after one year (total, youth employment) was significantly higher than that of non-participating companies, while employment growth after two years was not significant. UIC program need to have sustainability and systemicity so that they can be directly linked to the employment effects.

  • Purpose: This study was to determine the possible effects of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and epidermal growth factor (EGF) through cell survival genes of the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway when applying an hydrophobically modified glycol chitosan (HGC)-based nanocontrolled release system to human gingival fibroblasts in oral soft tissue regeneration. Materials and Methods: An HGC-based nano-controlled release system was produced, followed by the loading of TCA and EGF. The group was divided into control (CON), TCA-loaded nano-controlled release system (EXP1), and the TCA- and EGF- individually loaded nano-controlled release system (EXP2). A total for 29 genes related to the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway were analyzed after 48h of culture in human gingival fibroblasts. Real-time PCR, 1- way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results: Cell survival genes were significantly upregulated in EXP1 and EXP2. From multiple regression analysis, ITGB1 was determined to be the most influential factor for AKT1 expression. Conclusion: The application of TCA and EGF through the HGC-based nano-controlled release system can up-regulate the cell survival pathway.

Evaluating Pre-defined Kinetic Typography Effects to Convey Emotions (키네틱 타이포그래피를 통한 텍스트 기반 커뮤니케이션에서의 감정 전달 연구)

  • Kinetic typography has been suggested to express emotions in computer-mediated communication (CMC) by empowering static texts with dynamic attributes, where conversations occur primarily in text-based forms. In this work, we investigate whether pre-defined kinetic typography effects are capable of delivering emotions, and further, which specific attributes of kinetic typography arouse such emotions. The results show that emotional response of users were corresponding to the emotions intended by experts, indicating that pre-defined kinetic typography is an applicable way to express emotions consistently in CMC. Also, results demonstrate some key attributes that derive certain levels of mood and energy respectively. Energy level turned out to be affected by the font size, transparency, direction of movement, amount of movement, velocity, and acceleration of the text, while mood level was influenced by the transparency, direction of movement, regularity in movement, and speed of the text.

  • Transdermal and topical drug delivery with minimal tissue damage has been an area of vigorous research for years. Our research team has initiated the development of an effective method for delivering drug particles across the skin (transdermal) for systemic circulation, and to localized (topical) areas. The device consists of a laser ablation based micro-particle acceleration system that can be integrated with endoscopic surgical techniques. We have successfully delivered 3μm size cobalt particles into gelatin models that represent soft tissue with remarkable penetration depth.

  • As Graphic Information is a intuitive, simple and definite media to transfer information to human, It is widely used and deserved as a information exchange and store media. But the graphic information is so abstract that a human may misunderstand that's real meaning. So In order to transfer a Exact information to a human, a additional picture and description is needed. So, in this paper, A authoring system is suggested that it can be able to give a additional information at each region in graphic information, and to structurize relations between each region and to give linking information between each region using XML Linking Notation. In this paper, An suggested authoring system is implemented to support a authoring facility which is to display graphical information of CGM(Computer Graphic Metafile) and BMP, and to define structural information by selecting each region of graphics image on screen directly, and to save that structural information and linking information with XML Linking notation, and to support a browsing facility which to find hot spot using a structurized graphic information and then to show a proper graph.
