Objectives : The purpose of the study is to investigate the oral health behaviors between students studying in Vancouver, Canada and college students in Daejeon, Korea. Methods : A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 239 students in November, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of oral health behavior including tooth brushing methods between two countries. Chi-square test and t-test were analyzed. The analyses were conducted using R version 2.14.2(R Foundation for statistical Computing, Vienna, Austria). Results : The number of tooth brushing in Korean students was higher than those in Canada. Fifty nine percent of the Koreans brushed their teeth 3 times a day while 62.3% of students in Canada brushed their teeth 2 times a day(p<0.0001). Those who were taught on oral health education tended to brush the teeth more frequently that those who had not. Koreans and Japanese tended to brush teeth more frequently after breakfast than the Taiwanese(p=0.005). Koreans also brushed teeth after dinner more frequently than Japanese, Taiwanese, and other foreigners(p=0.012). In this study, the information literacy educational program currently used by Korean universities was applied to foreign ones and its educational effect was analyzed and their degree of satisfaction and demands were understood. As a result, the educational effect was shown, but the average knowledge of academic information used still remained low, but the satisfaction degree of education for information literacy was high, which means that such education is absolutely needed for foreign students. The analyzed results and contents carried out in the experiment will be very helpful for designing a differentiated information literacy educational program for foreign students.

This study investigated physical and physiological changes of normal young adults, who are cadets of the Air Force Academy, have kept long-term physical activities and healthy behavior. The physical and physiological indices were the blood and body composition. Data were collected at the first year period, and then 4th year period from same group of cadets. The amounts of blood components were not changed, but variation among cadets was significantly reduced in the 4th grade period. The red blood cells(RBCs) were significantly reduced and the concentration of hemoglobin(HGB) were significantly increased. The body weight was significantly decreased in the 1st grade period since the body fat was rapidly decreased after the basic military drill, and then it was recovered with building up of the skeletal muscle in the 4th grade period. Asymmetry of the arms was decreased with the increased physical activities and usage of various equipments. The muscular endurance were significantly enhanced in the 4th grade period. The long-term physical activities and healthy behaviors may keep the physical strength through enhanced blood stream and oxygen supply by reduction of the RBCs and increased HGB concentration, and fat and muscle control.

This study aims to compare and analyze the work-based learning programs of the U.K. in order to find out the successful strategies of the Korea's youth internship which has not got employment effects. Furthermore, to seek a fundamental improvement plan of the Korea's work-based learning programs. The implications through comparative analysis are as follows. For internship performances, the curriculum should be standardized on the basis of industry-specific job criteria, which can be reflected by industrial demands and be correspond to needs at the workplace. Also, it is imperative that the curriculum is linked to national qualifications to guarantee the job ability. Additionally, an infrastructure for effectively monitoring, managing, and evaluating programs should be established. However, these strategies are still constrained in improving the job ability of vulnerable targets and fostering the future-leading manpower in the new industry. In order to reform the work-based learning program, it needs to be structured with a variety of programs suitable for different levels of participants by introducing traineeship, apprenticeship and further education.
