Productivity of freshwater Rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus and Marine Rotifer, B. rotundiformis in the Semi-continuous High Density Culture (Rotifer 반 연속 고밀도. 배양에 있어서 담수산 rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus와 해수산 rotifer, B. rotundiformis의 생산성)

  • The experiment was carried out to investigate the productivity of freshwater rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus and marine rotifer, B. rotundiformis at various temperatures, initial inoculation and pH in a 5 L semi-continuous high density culture. Rotifers were fed by commercial condensed freshwater Chlorella. When pH was not controlled, average daily productions of freshwater and marine rotifers increased with temperature. The highest production, $44\times10^6$ rotifers, was achieved of B. calyciflorus at $32^{\circ}C$ and the possible production lasting period of B. calyciflorus was shorter than that of B. rotundiformis. Under the adjustment of pH at 7, the possible production lasting periods of B. calyciflorus and B. rotundiformis inoculated with 5,000 inds./mL were longer than those of rotifers inoculated with 10,000 inds./mL, and the daily production rate of the former was higher than that of the latter. The results from this study indicated that optimum density of the initial inoculation for the cultivation of B. calyciflorus and B. rotundiformis was 5,000 inds,/mL under the controlled conditions of pH 7 and at $32^{\circ}C$ in a semi-continuous high density culture, in terms of production rate and food cost aspects.

  • Sampling techniques is very important in digital elevation model. There are scanning and digitizing method of sampling techniques. This study is limited in digitizing method. Continous sampling method use contour lines as same entity and grid method is a direct reading of sample elevation in each grid. Triangulated irregular method is needed to identity topographical lines to sample elevation data. As a results, authors know that continous sampling method has economic in input system and triangulated irregular method has a small memory size.

  • HMM (hidden Markov model)을 이용한 음성인식은 현재 가장 널리 쓰여지고 있는 방법으로, 이 중 CDHMM (continuous observation density HMM)은 상태에서 관측심볼확률을 연속확률밀도를 사용하여 표현한다. 본 논문에서는 가우스 혼합밀도함수를 사용하는 CDHMM의 상태천이확률과, 관측심볼확률을 표현하기 위한 인자인 평균벡터, 공분산 행렬, 가지하중값을 유전자 알고리듬을 사용하여 최적화하는 방법을 제안하였다. 유전자 알고리듬은 매개변수 최적화문제에 대하여 자연의 진화원리를 모방한 알고리듬으로, 염색체 형태로 표현된 개체군 (population) 중에서 환경에 대한 적합도 (fitness)가 높은 개체가 높은 확률로 살아남아 재생 (reproduction)하게 되며, 교배 (crossover)와 돌연변이 (mutation) 연산 후에 다음 세대 개체군을 형성하게 되고, 이러한 과정을 반복하면서 최적의 개체를 구하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 상태천이확률, 평균벡터, 공분산행렬, 가지하중값을 부동소수점수 (floating point number)의 유전자형으로 표현하여 유전자 알고리듬을 수행하였다. 유전자 알고리듬은 복잡한 탐색공간에서 최적의 해를 찾는데 효과적으로 적용되었다.

  • This paper considers a multistage experiment. Response scales can be same or different from stage to stage. When variables are of nested structure, the response variable at each stage can be defined conditionally. For analysing such data with compound scales, this paper suggests a sequnce of dependence models and shows how to set up a sequence of models for the driver's liscense test data.

  • A mutant, or(orange body), and the KNIH(Korea National Institute of Health) strain of the German cockroach, Blattella germanica(L.) (Orthoptera: Blattellidae), were observed continuously in semi-natural conditions through video taping and data processing by computers. Male adults were individually observed for 4-5 days in a rectangular-shaped rearing cage with four different microhabitats, allowing observations of behavior such as resting, feeding, drinking and communicating with other individuals. The frequencies of visits to and times spent within harborage were determined. Although there were relatively large variations among individuals, the average stays withing harborage ranged from 47-61% of the total observation time. The duration of within-harborage time was significantly different between maternal origins, while not distinctively different between the strains. Diel differences were observed in body strains. The time spent within harborage was longer in photophase than in scotophase. visiting frequency, which represented local activity around harborage, appeared slightly higher in the or strain than in the KNIH strain, and was significant in the or strain while it was not significant in the KNIH strain. Although there were variations among individuals, similar temporal patterns in some progenies from the same maternal origins were observed in time spent within harborage and in visiting frequency.

  • 데이터 특성이 연속적이고 애매할 때 퍼지규칙으로 분류 규칙을 표현하는 것은 매우 유용하고 효과적이다. 그러나 일반적으로 정확하지 않은 데이터 특성에 대해서 소속함수를 결정한다는 것은 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는 진화알고리즘을 이용하여 효과적인 퍼지 분류 규칙을 자동으로 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서 규칙의 정확성과 이해성을 고려하여 최적화된 소속함수를 생성하기 위해 진화알고리즘을 사용한다. 먼저 지도 군집화로 진화를 위한 초기 소속함수를 생성한다. 진화알고리즘은 전역적 최적 해를 찾는데 효과적이다. 그러나 시간에 대한 효율성이 낮다. 특히 모델 최적화 문제에서는 개체 평가 단계에서 많은 시간이 소요된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전체 데이터를 여러 개의 부분 데이터들로 나누고 개체들은 전체 데이터 대신 매번 부분 데이터를 임의적으로 선택하여 개체를 평가함으로써 수행 시간을 단축시킬 수 있는 진화 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 퍼지 분류 규칙 생성 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위한 실험 데이터로 UCI에서 제공하는 데이터들을 사용하였으며, 실험 결과는 기존 방법에 비해 평균적으로 더 효과적임을 확인하였다.

  • The fundamentals of FRBR model are based on the International Cataloging Principles and the AACR 3. This study investigated the adaptability of the FRBR model to serials by reviewing how the entity, attribute and relationship concept in the FRBR are applied to serials. Also This study discussed problems associated with applications of the FRBR to serials cataloging.

  • This paper addresses a state consensus controller design technique of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model-based multi-agent systems in a continuous-time domain. We express the interconnection topology among the agents through graph theory. The design condition is represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • This paper suggests the method for saving the digital map which was made through aerial photography to ORDBMS (Object Relational Database Management System) and analyze its efficiency through experiments. The digital map has been used by file units because of managing or providing it to others. But this way can not get sequential graphic entities and just use it which was included in only one map. In this paper, we saved the digital map to ORDBMS at a time after converted the digital map entities based on the tile to the things can be inserted to ORDBMS. And, we also proved the possible methods to extract the graphic entities what we need from entire blueprint through experiments.
