A Development of mobile broadcasting monitor for improving reliability on IP-TV Platform based on TIT (TIT 기반에 IP-TV 플랫폼의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 방송 모니터 개발)

  • In korea, TIT(Transport Information Technology) based IP-TV services have been provided in Saemaeul trains and some sections of subway trains, But the software systems for the service performed in alternated fashions and suffered from many problems such as suspension, memory leaking and overflow, These problems increased playback loss time and resulted in bad reliabilities, In this paper, a software TIT monitor is designed and implemented for Monitoring module and Reset module in physically poor environments, The designed system formalized monitoring time intervals for effective monitoring, Through the real experiments, playback time is improved in 7.2% comparing to existing system.

  • The traditional face detection method is to use difference picture method are used to detect movement. However, most do not consider this mathematical approach using real-time or real-time implementation of the algorithm is complicated, not easy. This paper, the first to detect real-time facial image is converted YCbCr and RGB video input. Next, you convert the difference between video images of two adjacent to obtain and then to conduct Glassfire Labeling. Labeling value compared to the threshold behavior Area recognizes and converts video extracts. Actions to convert video to conduct face detection, and detection of facial characteristics required for the extraction and use of AdaBoost algorithm.

  • Recently, manufacturing work has been transformed to small scale production form with various types to act up to user's expectation from mass production with a little items required in the past. Then FMS using NC type machinaries has been applied actively also in domestic manufacturing line to meet thus tendency, but there are many machining troubles occured during work process not be settled yet. Nowdays high efficiently has been required no less than high precision in grinding work for the improvement of productivity. In this study, to represent more advance FMS can be adapted to thus situation In-process type monitoring method using AE and Current sensors is suggested to investigate the machining condition in grinding process. As results form this experimental study, it is recognized well that grinding conditions and dressing point of in time cab be estimated effectively using monitoring method suggested. Furthermore, surface shape of grinding wheel on voluntary point of in time can be predicted indirectly through the observation and comparison of AE signal waveform obtained as performance of continuous dressing work.

  • Moving object tracking improves the efficiency and qualification for observation system, broadcasting system, video conference, etc. This paper propcses an improved Bayes decision method for detecting and tracking moving objects in active camera environment. The Bayes decision based tracking approach finds the region of moving objects by analyzing the image sequences statistically. The propcsed algorithm regenerates the probability density function to accord with moving objects and background for active camera. Experimental results show that the algorithm is accurate. reliable and noise resistant. The result is compared with those of the conventional methods.

  • In the ubiquitous environment, the real-time remote control and monitoring technology for intelligent robot creates service as a sharable and independent of time-location for various contents to get from a sensor or camera of the robot. In this paper, We propose the real-time monitor and control mechanism for intelligent robot called URC(Ubiquitous Robotic Companion). URC are intelligent robots designed as to interact with external digital device that can communicate through wire or wireless by integration the network and information technology into traditional robot. It has been carried out by implementing this technology into the target robot called ISSAC4 and proving its practical worth. We designed feasibly to control on remote site by web-browser. It guarantees a continuity of real-time image transferring by Client-Pull method.

  • In this paper, We are proposed the real-time monitor and control mechanism for intelligent robot called URC(Ubiquitous Robotic Companion).   • In this paper, we have implemented an FMCW radar for a near distance measurement. In the structure of the FMCW radar, it is a key problem to solve the VCO nonlinearity. In this work, we have adopted a VCO nonlinearity compensation algorithm using the spectrum correlation of beat signals. The radar experimented in this work uses an X-band(9.55~10.25GHz) microwave signal, and realizes precision of 3% in the range of 30m. The prototype can be applied to the front surveillance radar such as in vehicle anti-collision and probing robot mission.

  • HL7 is well-Known standard protocol for text data generated in hospital information systems. In this paper, we have to design to obtain useful vital sign information, which is generated at data receiver modulor of HIS, that is offered by the central monitor. Vital sign informations of central monitor is composed of the row data of several bedsite patient monitors. We are willing to maintain vital sign information of real time and continuity that is generated from the bedsite patient monitor. It is able to apply to remote medical examination and treatment. we proposed integration method between vital sign database systems and hospital information systems. Through the proper exchange and management of patient vital sign information, real time vital sign information management will offer better workflow to all hospital employee.

  • Tissue biosensor for mearsuring sodium channel blockers, such tetrodotoxin(TTX), saxitoxin (STX) and paralytic shellfish poisoning(PSP) consisted of frog bladder membrane, and $Na^{+}$ electrode. The proposed biosensor was applied to determine Chinese drug and dry or wet Porphyra yezonesis $Na^{+}$ channel blockers below the detection limit of the standard mouse bio-assay while the observed detection limit didn't cause human poisoning. The proposed biosensor system may be used for future $Na^{+}$ channel blockers monitoring within the marine environment.

  • This paper proposes integrated diagnosis system of motor for a ship. It carried out the safety diagnosis for insulation-resistor and current. The motor exposed to sea breeze and oil all the time is able to have problems as a over-current, reduction of the insulation-resistor and so on. These problems impact on the safety navigation, and occur a heavy casualties and loss of property. The proposed system is designed to verify continuous values of the insulation-resistor and current, and transfer them to a remote control room. The validity of the proposed system is verified through experiments on the 3-phase induction motor.
