Purpose : To investigate the percentage of colonies wi1h16or more cells distribution of human skin fibroblast according to in vitro aging, and to evaluate the relationship between percentage of colonies with 10 or more cells and in vivo donor age in human skin fibroblast culture. Material and Method : C1, C2, C3a, and C3b human skin fibroblast samples from three breast cancer patients were used as subjects. The C1, C2, and C3a donor were 44, 54, and 55 years old, respectively. C3a and C3b cells were isolated from the same person. Single cell suspension of skin fibroblasts was prepared with primary explant technique. One hundred cells are plated into 100m1 tissue culture flask and cultured for two weeks. The colony size was defined as colonies with 16 or more cells. The cultured cell was stained with crystal violet, and number of cells in each colony was determined with stereo microscope at $\times$10 magnification. Passage number of C1, C2, C3a and C3b skin fibroblast were 12th, 17th, and 14th, respectively. Results : Percentage of colonies with 16 or more cells of skin fibroblast samples decreased with increasing in vitro passage number. In contrast, cumulative population doublings of skin fibroblast sample increased with increasing in vitro passage number. Percentage of colonies with 16 or more cells also decreased with increasing population doublings in human skin fibroblast culture. There was strong correlation with percentage of colonies with 16 or more cells and population doublings En C3a skin fibroblast sampie. At the same point of population doublings, the percentage of colonies with 16 or more cells of the young C1 donor was higher level than the old C3a donor. Conclusion : The population doublings increased with increasing in vitro passage number but percentage of colonies with 16 or more cells decreased. The results of this study imply that percentage of colonies with 16 or more cell is useful as a indicator of in vitro human skin fibroblast aging and may estimate the in vivo donor age.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between filial piety, family exchange, and social exchange and perception of intergenerational solidarity and to find the differences of those relationships among different age groups. '2017 Age Integration Survey' data, which were collected under the support of Social Science Korea (SSK) project of National Research Foundation of Korea. 300 participants for each three age group such as the young, middle-aged and older adult were randomly selected among 1,017 and data were analyzed by structural equation modeling method. Findings were as follows. Firstly, filial piety, family exchange, social exchange affected the perception of intergenerational solidarity. Secondly, there is a significant difference in those relationships among different age groups. Family exchange and social exchange were statistically significant variables to explain the perception of intergenerational solidarity in the young age group; filial piety, family exchange, and social exchange, all three variables were related statistically significantly to the perception of intergenerational solidarity in the middle-aged group. For older adult group, filial piety and social exchange appeared as the significant variables. Based on these findings, several suggestions in policies and practices were made to increase the perception of intergenerational solidarity by reflecting the characteristics of each age groups.
Self-employment rate is high in Korean labor market, while the income gap within self-employed is also high. Although, there are very few studies that addressed on the income inequality of self-employed. Thus, this study has measured the earnings inequality of self-employed by generalized entropy indices and decomposed inequality factor and trend. The empirical study is based on Korea Welfare Panel Study wave 1~4. The main result from this analysis is summarized in three points. Firstly, earnings inequality of self-employed is severely high and the earnings polarization within self-employed has become more serious in Korea. Secondly, this study provides the evidence that the main factor of earnings inequality of self-employed is the status of self-employment, education level, age group, workplace scale and industry. Thirdly, the contribution of relative changes in the incomes of the status of self-employment is the largest to the inequality trend. In terms of education level, age group and industry, the increase of inequality within group(pure effect) mainly attributes to the rise of earnings inequality of self-employed and the change effect of group composition contributes to deterioration of inequality.
This study aims to understand public perceptions of aging Korean society and related factors in the context of population aging and generational difference. Data are from 1,498 individuals older than 20 who were recruited through the quota sampling technique. Results indicated that the respondents reported less then three as the number of positive aspects of aging Korean society. Among the factors related to population aging, such as knowledge about aging, perceptions about family care, anxiety about later life, and perspectives about generational conflict, anxiety about later life was shown to be negatively associated with perception of aging Korean society across age groups. Respondents 65 and older showed more positive perception about aging Korean society and this association was conditioned by perspectives about generational conflict. Perspectives about generational conflict revealed positive associations with perception of aging Korean society among respondents aged 20-44 and 45-64, while no association was found among those 65 and older. Discussions focused on ways to alter perceptions of aging Korean society and needs for future research on this topic.
The purpose of this study was to examine whether there was a difference in the recognition and teaching strategies for the young child's behavioral problems according to teachers' socio-demographic variables and ego-resiliency level by analyzing survey responses from 238 teachers of 3, 4, and 5-year-old children. This study found that the group of teachers with the education level of junior college graduation or higher showed higher degree of recognition of children's behavioral problems than the group of teachers with a lower level of education. And the group of teachers at kindergartens showed a higher degree of recognition of children's behavioral problems than the group of teachers at day care centers. Regarding the difference according to the level of ego-resiliency, the group of higher ego-resiliency showed higher degree of recognition of children's behavioral problems than the group of lower ego-resiliency. In terms of teachers' teaching strategies for the behavioral problems, differences were recognized at sub-categories. To explain, differences were recognized in accordance with the teachers' age and career as well as their education level and work place; the higher the teachers' age, career, and education the more often they used the positive prevention strategy I. And teachers at kindergartens resorted to the negative response strategies more often than those at day care centers. Finally, the teaching strategies for the behavioral problems according to the teachers' ego-resiliency, group differences were seen in all the sub categories. The result of this study suggested that the need to develop and apply such programs for pre-service teachers and for teacher reeducation reflect those variables.

Objectives:Present study developed the computerized ADHD Diagnostic System(ADS) in order to diagnose ADHD and evaluate treatment effect of it, and conducted a standardization study for ADS. Methods:The normative group was composed of 847 children and adolescents between the age of 5 and 15(boy 429, girl 418) living in the areas of Seoul, Kyunggi-do, and Kangwon-do. 30 ADHD children with age ranged 7 to 9 years were participated present study to evaluate the validity of ADS. To establish the norms for diagnosing ADHD, the means and standard deviations of normative group were used to calculate T-scores for each age group. Results:The reliability coefficient of ADS(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$) was .85. There were significant differences in the measures of ADS except commission error between the normal and the ADHD groups. Three factors were extracted through factor analysis of ADS, which were labelled 'inattention', 'slow information processing' and 'impulsivity'. Discriminant analysis showed that ADS significantly discriminate the normal and the ADHD groups. Percentage of correct classification by ADS variables was 96.7%. Conclusion:These results put together strongly support the reliability and validity of ADS as a diagnostic instrument for ADHD.
The current study examined the effects of teacher efficacy, and level of professionalism in the subject of interaction of teachers and children. The data collected in this study shows the following results. First, teachers over thirty years-old tend to show a higher level of teacher efficacy, level of professionalism and interaction of teachers and children compare to teachers who are under thirty. In categories, such as teacher efficacy and level of professionalism, accreditation experience caused significant difference. The group of teachers who had more than two times of accreditation experience show higher teacher efficacy than the group of teachers that had no experience, and the previous groups' level of professionalism was higher than the rest. Second, teacher efficacy has positive correlation in level of professional- ism and interaction of teachers and children. Level of professionalism of childcare teachers has positive correlation with interaction of teachers and children. Third, when examining the relative effect of socio-demographic variables, teacher efficacy and level of professionalism on interaction of teachers and children, mature teachers have more influence on verbal interaction of teachers and children; the teachers who have longer career have more influence on behavioral interaction of teachers and children. By and large, teachers who are older and have higher teacher efficacy and level of professionalism gain more influence on overall interaction of teachers and children.
The purpose of this study investigates how the audience evaluation on independency of broadcasting and news credibility of KBS and MBC affect their channel brand equity(cognition, image, loyalty, and quality). The results indicate that the audience evaluation on news credibility of KBS and MBC has stronger influence on channel brand equity than the one of independency of broadcasting. On ages, the older generation group has more positive perception on channel image and loyalty of KBS than the college student group and the college student group has more positive perception on channel cognition and quality of MBC than the older generation group. On political traits, the politically conservative groups of both KBS and MBC have more positive perception on independency of broadcasting, news credibility, and channel brand equity than the other groups. Consequently, public broadcasting systems should improve the credibility of news for securing independency of broadcasting. These systems make audience change their perception toward public broadcasting as recovering integrity of news and improving professionalism of news. Public broadcasting systems should conduct a further research to improve the management of channel brand equity by studying audiences' age and political traits.

This study conducted a literature analysis to examine the overall trend of speech-language pathology in discourse research, focusing on studies on the topic of discourse from 2010 to 2023. Twenty-five papers were selected and analyzed in terms of research status, research subjects (age and subject type), and research methods (type and task). As a result, first, looking at the annual status of discourse research, it was confirmed that it is increasing starting from 2015 compared to 2010 to 2014. Second, the age of the research subjects and the types of experimental and control groups in the experimental study were examined. First, when analyzing the age of the subjects, research was actively conducted on school-age subjects (12 studies, 48.00%). When looking at the analysis of the types of experimental group subjects, the Normal group was the most (4 studies (19.04%)), and the control group subject type was also conducted with Normal as the control group (13 studies (61.90%)). It was the most. Third, in the analysis of research methods, it was found that the research type was very biased towards experimental studies, with 21 studies (84.00%). The type of research in terms of time was cross-sectional studies, which accounted for a high proportion of 21 studies (84.00%), and the research project used to evaluate discourse ability with a high proportion was discourse production, with a total of 12 studies (48.00%). This study comprehensively looked at discourse-related research related to language development and language disorders and sought to identify recent trends and the direction in which discourse-related research should move. The analysis of this study was limited to domestic papers. In follow-up research, we hope to understand the flow of research and discuss it, including overseas research related to discourse.
The purpose of this study was to bring together evidence of the operation and impact of legislation to prohibit age discrimination in those countries that have such laws. We identified 5 countries with extensive age discrimination legislation: the US, Canada, Australia, Finland and Republic of Ireland. The objectives and cultural context of age discrimination lesgislation, which plays a large part in each country determining what type of lesgislation is deemed to be appropriate. The effeciveness or impact of the legislation, in terms of progress towards these objectives.
