The Convergence effect of job stress of counselors on sexual orientation -Focusing on ego resilience- (성폭력 관련기관 상담원의 직무스트레스가 이직 의도에 미치는 융합적 영향 -자아탄력성 매개중심으로-)

  • The research is aimed at finding out the relationship between vocational stress and willingness to engage in vocational stress, which measures vocational stress and the ability to cope with the job, and how the job stress relates to job mobility. First of all, the job stress and willingness to transfer jobs related to sexual harassment related agencies have a positive correlation, while self-exploitation, job stress, and willingness to move jobs have shown negative correlation. Second, the self-assessment of self-assessment of ego resilience has served as a complete parameter in relation to the relationship between employee motivation and willingness to leave the job, which is the job of occupational duties. Based on this study, it is important to note that self-reference is an important factor in determining the role of job stress in the workforce because of its self-reference of job stress and motivation in relation to job stress.

  • Abnormal spinal disease and function, in addition to simple musculoskeletal problems, can disrupt homeostasis and cause direct and indirect physiological side effects. Part or all of the immune function can be compromised, exposing you to more disease, especially if the nerves running through your spine do not deliver the proper signals to the organs that regulate your immune system. This study focuses on basic anatomic and physiological knowledge and seeks to consider potential mechanisms by which spinal function may potentially help maintain or improve immune function. To this end, we examine the roles of the spine in relation to hematopoiesis, stress, respiration, spine-nerve relationships, and the immune system, and confirm that these roles may influence immune function.

The Anxiety, Diabetes-Related Distress and Posttraumatic Growth of Parents Who Have Child with Type 1 Diabetes (1형 당뇨병 자녀를 둔 부모의 불안, 당뇨관련 스트레스 및 외상 후 성장)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the anxiety, levels of diabetes-related distress, and post-traumatic growth of parents who have children with type 1 diabetes and determine the correlation between the differences and variables based on the general characteristics and disease-related characteristics. This is a descriptive survey research and data collection was conducted from January 4th-29th of 2016 with an online survey in an internet community for type 1 diabetes. Seventy seven individuals were included in the final analysis. Statistical analysis was carried out with a t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The study results showed that posttraumatic growth was significantly high (p<.05) under parents with a religion, and that parental anxiety and stress were high with children under 6 years of age (p<.05), with cases of hypoglycemia (p<.05), and with high levels of glycated hemoglobin (p<.05). Anxiety and stress had a positive correlation (r=.684, p<.001), and anxiety and stress exhibited a negative correlation with posttraumatic growth (r=-.401, p<.001; r=-.327, p<.05). This suggests that posttraumatic growth can reduce the negative emotions sufficiently, and that a mediating mechanism is needed that promotes posttraumatic growth while decreasing the level of anxiety and stress.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship among the factors of tax officials' occupational stress, job satisfaction and psychological well-being. It also aims to provide the effective management ways of tax officials' job. The result of the study showed that the factors of their occupational stress in performing their duties had negative effects on their job satisfaction, the higher their job satisfaction degree was, the higher their psychological well-being was and it could improve the efficiency of the tax administration performance. It also had the positive effects to improve tax payers' satisfaction degree of taxation service. Therefore, the welfare expansion considering the tax officials' roles and importance, wage supplement from provincial governments and institutionalized supplement to improve their job satisfaction are needed for the increase of the efficiency of taxation service.

Overexpression of NtROS2a gene encoding cytosine DNA demethylation enhances drought tolerance in transgenic rice (시토신 탈메틸화 관련 NtROS2a 유전자 도입 형질전환벼의 건조스트레스 내성 증진)

  • DNA methylation regulations gene expression, thus having pivotal roles in a myriad of physiological and pathological processes. In this study, the morphology and stress tolerance of transgenic rice overexpressing NtROS2a were determined. Transgenic plants exhibited less and shorter lateral shoots. Under various treatments, rice overexpressing NtROS2a showed alleviation of damage symptoms with higher survival rate. After drought and re-watering treatment, transgenic rice seedlings restored their normal growth. However, wild type plants could not be rescued. These findings indicate that overexpression of NtROS2a gene in rice seedlings can increase their tolerance to drought stresses.

  • Author analyzed the relationship among job stressors, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of police officials. And the Author analyzed the moderating effect of social support on the relationship between job stressors, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. First, I found that job stressors associated with characteristics of the job or the organization affect job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job stressors significantly affecting job satisfaction were found to be perceived uncontrol and role ambiguity. Second, the job satisfaction's impact on organizational commitment in the impact relationship was significantly very large. Third, despite the role overload, the group with a high social support had a high job satisfaction. In addition, if there is high level of social support, job satisfaction could significantly increase organizational commitment.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 민간경비원의 조직문화와 직무스트레스 및 조직몰입의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 2011년 수도권소재(인천) 공항에서 재직하고 있는 민간경비원들을 모집단으로 설정한 후 유의표집법을 이용하여 최종분석에 이용된 사례 수는 총 203명이다. 연구에 사용된 설문지는 총 56문항으로 구성되었다. 분석방법은 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 .671이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 조직문화는 직무스트레스에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 개발적, 위계적 문화가 형성 되지 않는다면, 보상경력개발에 대한 직무스트레스는 증가한다. 반면, 개발적, 합의적 문화가 형성 되면, 직무특성, 인간관계, 역할과 관련된 직무스트레스는 감소한다. 둘째, 민간경비원의 조직문화는 조직몰입에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 개발적, 위계적 문화가 형성 되면, 정서적, 근속적, 규범적 몰입은 높아진다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 직무스트레스는 조직몰입에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 보상경력개발이 불공정하게 이루어질수록 정서적, 근속적 규범적 몰입은 낮아진다. 반면, 현재 자신의 직무가 능동적으로 이루어진다면, 정서적, 근속적, 규범적 몰입은 높아진다.

Characterization and Gene Co-expression Network Analysis of a Salt Tolerance-related Gene, BrSSR, in Brassica rapa (배추에서 염 저항성 관련 유전자, BrSSR의 기능 검정 및 발현 네트워크 분석)

  • Among various abiotic stress factors, soil salinity decreases the photosynthetic rate, growth, and yield of plants. Recently, many genes have been reported to enhance salt tolerance. The objective of this study was to characterize the Brassica rapa Salt Stress Resistance (BrSSR) gene, of which the function was unclear, although the full-length sequence was known. To characterize the role of BrSSR, a B. rapa Chinese cabbage inbred line ('CT001') was transformed with pSL94 vector containing the full length BrSSR cDNA. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) analysis showed that the expression of BrSSR in the transgenic line was 2.59-fold higher than that in the wild type. Analysis of phenotypic characteristics showed that plants overexpressing BrSSR were resistant to salinity stress and showed normal growth. Microarray analysis of BrSSR over-expressing plants confirmed that BrSSR was strongly associated with ERD15 (AT2G41430), a gene encoding a protein containing a PAM2 motif (AT4G14270), and GABA-T (AT3G22200), all of which have been associated with salt tolerance, in the co-expression network of genes related to salt stress. The results of this study indicate that BrSSR plays an important role in plant growth and tolerance to salinity.

An Analysis of Relationship Between Personal Factors of Radiological Technologists and Job Stressors (방사선사의 개인적 요인이 직무스트레스원에 영향을 주는 관련성 분석)

  • This study is aimed at analyzing the relationship between personal factors of radiological technologists and their job stressors. For this aim, a survey was conducted by means of 890 questionnaires from the middle of July to the end of August 2003 to the subjects of radiological technologists who are working for 44 general hospitals in 16 cities and provinces across the country. The results of the survey could be summed up as follows: 1. The biggest stressor that affects a radiological technologist personally under the working situation turned out to be position, job satisfaction and physical symptom(p<0.001), while job satisfaction and physical symptom also played an important role in personal relationship(p<0.001). 2. In terms of job conflicts, colleagues, immediate seniors, job satisfaction and physical symptoms appeared to exercise great impact(p<0.001), As for job autonomy, age, position and job satisfaction were known to be heavily influential(p<0.001). 3. With regard to job load, job satisfaction and behavioral symptom turned out to have great influence while, in job stability, position and job satisfaction seemed to be immensely influential(p<0.001). The present study has a limit in that it covers only radiological technologists who are working at the 3rd reference hospitals but excludes those who are working at the first and second reference hospitals. The findings, however, are surely believed to be able to serve as basic data to improve the medical service quality as they will help reduce the stressors of and enhance mental and physical health for radiological technologists who play important roles as teammates with expertise in the medical field. These outcomes could also be referred to in future studies in this area.

Brain Benzodiazepine-like Molecules and Stress-anxiety Response (뇌조직내 Benzodiazepine 유사물질과 스트레스-불안 반응)

  • Benzodiazepines(BZDs) are among the most widely prescribed drugs in the world. They are potent anxiolytic, antiepileptic, hypnotic, and muscle relaxing agents. There is an emerging model of the role of several neural systems in anxiety and their relation to the mechanism of action of BZDs. It has been postulated that BZD drugs exert their anxiolytic action by regulating GABAergic transmission in limbic areas such as the amygdala, in the posterior hypothalamus, and in the raphe nuclei. The involvement of the amygdala in the behaviors triggered by fear and stress has been suggested by many previous studies. In this review, reports about regulatory effects of endogenous BZD receptor ligands on the perception of anxiety and memory consolidation were summerized. These findings further support the contention that BZD receptor ligands modulate memory consolidation of averse learning tasks by influencing the level of stress and/or anxiety that accompanies a learning experience. The findings suggest that the decrease in the limbic levels of BZD-like molecules seen after the various behavioral procedures represent a general response to stress and/or anxiety, since it occurs in proportion to the level of stress and/or anxiety that accompany these tasks. In addition, these findings further support the hypothesis that the $GABA_A$/BZD receptor complex in limbic structures plays a pivotal role in the stress and anxiety.
