Relationship of Interrole Conflict and Role-related Stress among Registered Nurses Pursuing Advanced Nursing Degrees (상급학위과정에 등록한 간호사들이 느끼는 역할갈등과 역할관련 스트레스와의 관련성)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 대학원 또는 RN-BSN과정에 등록하여 학업을 계속하는 간호사들이 학업과 직업, 가정에서 다양한 역할을 수행하면서 발생하는 역할갈등과 역할관련 스트레스의 관련성을 파악하는 것이다. 연구방법: 국내4개 간호대학 RN-BSN과정 또는 대학원에서 수업을 받고 있는 간호사 149명을 대상으로 역할갈등, 역할스트레스를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며 서술통계, 빈도분석, 상관관계분석과 함께 위계적 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과: 연구대상자의 work-school to family 갈등은 평균 $2.77{\pm}0.93$점, family-school to work 갈등은 $3.27{\pm}0.77$점, family-work to school에 대한 역할갈등은 $3.08{\pm}0.83$점이었다. 역할관련 스트레스는 평균 $5.99{\pm}1.66$점이었으며, 스트레스의 하위영역 중 가정스트레스 $4.77{\pm}2.62$점, 직장스트레스 $6.66{\pm}2.12$점, 학업스트레스 $6.84{\pm}1.87$점이었다. 위계적 다중회귀분석 중에서 직위가 스트레스변인의 2%를 설명하였고, 2단계에서 갈등요인 3변수가 추가 입력되었을 때 스트레스 변인의 23%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 학업과 근무, 가정으로부터 다양한 역할을 수행하는 간호사는 다양한 역할에서 오는 갈등과 스트레스의 연관성이 확인되었으므로, 이를 근거로 업무만족과 성취를 높일 수 있는 정책이 개발되어야 한다.

How Does Technostress Influence Employees' Role and Performance in An Organization?: The Moderating Effect of Innovation Support (조직 내 기술스트레스가 역할과 성과에 미치는 영향: 혁신지원의 조절효과)

  • This study applies the concepts of sociotechnical theory and role theory in order to verify the effects of stress (that is, technostress) created from information and computer technology (ICT) concerning role stress and performance. We suggest diverse perspectives concerning the elements leading to technostress along with the stress-creating process of ICT among organizational members. The following four major hypotheses are proposed: (1) Technostress is positively related to role stress (e.g., conflict and overload of roles), adverse psychological outcomes, and adverse IS use related outcomes, (2) Role conflict is positively related to adverse psychological outcomes and adverse IS use related outcomes, (3) Role overload is positively related to adverse psychological outcomes and adverse IS use related outcomes, and (4) Innovation support will play as a moderator between technostress, roles tress, adverse psychological outcomes and adverse IS use related outcomes. A partial least square (PLS) with data gathered data from ICT users of organizations was used to verify the proposed hypotheses. The results supported our claims excluding the hypothesis associated to the relationship between technostress and role stress. We suggest a theoretical implication based on the verification of technostress related to the current concept of stress experienced by individuals within organizations. We also propose that a practical implication concerning the opposite effect of technostress, can be utilized as a method of reducing role stress, and suggests a diagnostic tool for assessing the degree of technostress within organizations.

The Impacts of Broadcasting Staff's Role Stress, Job Insecurity, Self-efficacy on Job Engagement (방송 종사자의 역할스트레스, 고용불안정성, 자기효능감이 직무열의에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is to look into the role stress, job insecurity, self-efficacy and job engagement among broadcasting staffs. It is the ultimate goal for this study to probe how their job engagement affected by three factors - role stress, job insecurity, self-efficacy. 343 respondents participated and the results show they are suffering for the role stress, especially role conflict. Their awareness of the self-efficacy and job engagement is above average, meanwhile of job insecurity is comparably low. It is revealed that the less role ambiguity and the more self-efficacy affect their job engagement and the most influential factor is self-efficacy.

  • This study investigates the factors of job stress from working environment of employees' in the IT relative industry and explore its effects on both job involvement and affective commitment. 15 companies and individuals(IT freelancers) working in Seoul and Gyeonggi Provence were chosen for this study. Data were collected for 4 weeks from May 27 to June 28, 2019. A total of 400 employees' were attended in this research and finally 352 samples were used for the empirical analysis. The result of this study showed that 'role ambiguity' factor and 'role conflict' factor among the job stress factors influence on job involvement. Moreover, all factors(overload, role ambiguity, role conflict) among job stress influence on affective commitment.

  • Many approaches exist for studying travel service quality, employee's satisfaction, and traveler' satisfaction. Although tour conductor play an important role in travel service, there is a lack of research on how to conceptualize and measure tour conductor's role, role stress and service delivery level. So this paper presents a conceptual framework and research approach for examining the role conflict, ambiguity, overload, and service delivery level of tour conductor in group package and the impacts of role stress on service delivery level. Results indicate that there are significant affection on service delivery level of TC among the role conflict, ambiguity, and overload. For the most part, the role conflict and ambiguity more impacted on responsibility and empathy with service encounter, the role overload affected on professional and tangibles. In conclusion, the studies reported here highlight the importance of individual effort as well as organizational police in reducing strain and improving service delivery level.

  • 본 연구에서는 환대산업 종사원들의 직무 스트레스가 조직시민행동에는 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 또한 직무스트레스와 조직시민행동사이에서 가족기능이 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보고자 한다. 환대산업 종사원들의 직무 및 역할과 조직시민행동에 관련한 연구들을 살펴보면 환대산업 종사원들은 보다 나은 업무결과를 위하여, 업무 스트레스를 경험하게 되고 이 업무 스트레스는 조식시민행동을 낮게하는 변수로 작용하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 호텔기업 종사원들의 직무스트레스가 조직시민행동에 어떤 영향관계에 있는지를 실증적으로 분석해보고 그 영향관계에서 가족기능은 어떤 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보고자 한다.

  • 도서관 민원과 이용자 불평행동을 살펴보고, 사서의 직무 불안을 야기하는 이용자 불평행동에 대한 이론적인 접근과 조사를 통해, 도서관 현장에서의 블랙컨슈머와 사서스트레스의 상관성을 분석하고자 한다. 본 논문은 지금까지의 사서의 직무스트레스 관련 연구가 직무스트레스 요인분석, 직무만족과의 관련성을 분석하였다면, 사서 직무에 대한 업무 범위를 좀 더 세분하여 사서의 대민서비스 역할에 주목하고, 도서관의 불량고객의 유형을 파악하여, 감정노동 분야 및 소비자학에서 논의되어 왔던 불평행동에 따른 직무스트레스 부분에 대하여 심도 있게 접근하고자 한다.

The Effect of the Beauty salon worker's emotional labor, job stress, job burnout and social support on turnover intention (미용실 종사자의 감정노동, 직무스트레스, 직무소진 및 사회적 지지가 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the effects of job stress, job burnout, and social support on turnover intention for beauty salon workers in Busan. First, the younger, the higher levels of emotional labor; the younger, the lower education levels, the shorter career, and the lower position, the higher job stress and the higher job burnout; and the younger, the lower education levels, and the fewer days off, the higher turnover intention. Second, directors, designers and the staff had emotional labor, job stress, job burnout, and social support associated with turnover intention. Third, owners and designers had their turnover intention in general affected by emotional control, role stress, supervisor support, and colleague support and had their workplace-related turnover intention affected by emotional control, role stress, colleague support, and depersonalization, while the staff had their turnover intention in general and workplace-related turnover intention affected by supervisor support, colleague support, and depersonalization and had their job-related turnover intention affected by supervisor support.

Mediation Effect of LMX Quality on the Relationship between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction (직무 스트레스와 직무만족의 관계에서 LMX 질의 매개효과)

  • Job stress of Korean workers is 87.8% which is the highest level among OECD countries(average 80%), and job satisfaction is 69% which is the lowest satisfaction much lower than the average(81) of OECD. This study aims to analyze the effect of LMX; Leader-Member Exchange regarding job stress and job satisfaction empirically. According to the result of the study of employees in special hotels in capital areas and Jeolla province, the difference between job stress and intensity showed partial differences in marital status. In addition, the mediating roles of the LMX quality showed that the only organization-related stress consisting of role conflicts and role ambiguity factors was found to be mediated by the quality of LMX in terms of the effect on job satisfaction. Also, the effect of job authority-related stress and job environment stress on job satisfaction showed that the quality of LMX didn't have an influence.

  • The objective of this study is to examine the relevance between Job Characteristic and Organizational Effectiveness by Job Stress. The proxy variable of the Job Characteristic are skill variety, task identity, task significance, task autonomy, and task feedback. The proxy variable of Job Stress are role conflict, role ambiguity, and role overload. And the proxy variable of Organizational Effectiveness are job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. The sample consists of 379 data belonging to manufacturing and service industry located on Busan, Ulsan, and Gyungnam in 2015. The result of this study shows that there is difference on the relevance between Job Characteristic and Organizational Effectiveness according to the Job Stress. Therefore, it is more important to reduce the job stress to enhance the Organizational Effectiveness.
