Survey Design of the Workplace Panel Survey in Korea (사업체패널조사의 조사설계)

  • Workplace Panel Survey(WPS) is the representative panel survey of workplace in Korea. WPS was newly sampled in 2005 and is to be used for the subsequent biennial survey. The main survey is divided into a questionnaire for human resources(HR) manager, a questionnaire for labor relations manager and a questionnaire for representatives of unions. The population of WPS 2005 included workplaces across the country with 30 or more employees. The WPS 2005 was composed of 1,905 workplaces including 290 workplaces in the public sector. The sample was selected by the stratified random sampling. Weighting process for the survey data was introduced to compensate for differential sampling and non-response rates. Personal interviews were conducted using the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing(CAPI) system during visits by interviewers, along with survey via mail and e-mail concerning employment and financial issues. The CPAI system introduced for the WPS 2005 can by used for automatical detection for errors and inconsistencies which may occur during the survey process. The CAPI system played an important part in enhancing the reliability of the survey data.

  • Today, the name of Changjiang (Yangtze) Delta Region is used to designate an economic region which consists of sixteen cities including Shanghai City. The region has achieved the highest rate of economic growth in the world as well as in China since China its opened its toward the world market. The aim of this study is to examine the modern transition of spatial structure in the region after the opening (1978) and the membership of WTO (2000). In the examination, the study divides the spatial structure into three aspects: industrialization, urbanization and economic integration. The outcome of examination suggests that spatial division of industry, horizontally and vertically, has not reached a satisfactory level even if it is still in progress. The study proposes that the intervention of government in the market and company activity has hindered the spatial division of industry including service sector between the cities, and thus the economic integration. It further suggests that the specialization of urban function has not entered into the maturing stage, with the shortage of mid-size cities that would mediate spatial-economically between the large-size cities and the small-size cities in the urban hierarchy.

How can Authentic Leadership Affect Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Job Performance?: The Role of Organizational Climate as a Mediator (진성리더십이 조직시민행동 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향: 조직분위기 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzes the effect of authentic leadership on organizational climate, organizational citizenship behavior, and job performance to suggest the implications behind the growing importance of authentic leadership. In particular, this study substantiates existing arguments that organizational climate moderates the tension between leaders and employees by investigating the mediating effects of organizational climate on the relationship between authentic leadership and job performance. A survey was conducted on employees of various business areas in Korea, and 444 responses were used in statistical analysis which was performed using SPSS/WIN 24.0 and STATA 14.0 statistics package and verified using structural equations. The analysis results showed that 1) authentic leadership has positive effects on organizational climate, organizational citizenship behavior, job performance; 2) organizational climate has positive effects on organizational citizenship behavior and job performance; 3) organizational citizenship behavior has a positive effect on job performance; and 4) organizational climate performs a mediating role in the relationships among authentic leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and job performance. By including organization climate's mediating effect as a factor in the research on authentic leadership, this study presents a new perspective for future studies on leadership.

The Effect of Customers' Perceived Organization Citizenship Behaviors of Frontline Employees on their Attitudes (서비스산업에서 접점종업원의 조직시민행동에 대한 고객지각이 고객의 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we measured customers' perception of organization citizenship behaviors of employees which are known as the important factor for improving performance of companies, and examined the path relationship among related variables such as service quality, customer satisfaction, trust, and positive word of mouth. Although there have been many studies of OCB in the marketing field, the majority of these studies measured employee's OCB from the organization's perspective. This study has extended the prior studies by measuring employee's OCB from the customer's perspective. Customers of beauty salons and public houses were researched such that OCB may be applied to more various customer contact situations. The result is as follows. First, employees's OCB had a direct effect on perceived service quality and trust, and had an indirect effect on customer satisfaction. It means that customers evaluate the service quality of employees and trust frontline employees when they observed employees helping other organizational members, orientated customer facilitation beyond the regulated role and showed positive attitudes for their organization. As a result, customers feel more satisfied. Secondly, OCB had an indirect effect on positive word of mouth through mediation of service quality, satisfaction, and trust. Finally, consumer facilitation had the largest effect on consumer attitude among three dimensions of OCB-consumer facilitation, organization involvement, and sportsmanship. We understood the relationship between frontline employee's OCB and customer attitudes, and the necessity of multidimensional approach in measuring employee's OCB from the customer's perspective.

The Effect of the Supervisor's Transformational Leadership on Employees' Work Engagement : Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Psychological Contract Breach and Organizational Anomie (변혁적 리더십이 직무열의에 미치는 영향: 심리적 계약 위반과 조직아노미의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The goal of this study was to verify that effectiveness of transformational leadership in impacting work engagement with the psychological contract breach among members of the organization and organizational anomie as mediating factors. The mediating effect of psychological contract breach and organizational anomie on the relationship between transformational leadership and work engagement was explored using a theoretical approach based on Social Exchange Theory, Social Information Processing Model and Job Demands- Resources Model. To avoid common method bias, the dependent variable was surveyed using employee peer review. 277 surveys were collected from 18 companies in diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, and finance. The results of the analysis showed that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employees' work engagement, while having a significant negative effect on psychological contract breach and organizational anomie. In addition, psychological contract breach and organizational anomie were found to act as partial mediators in the relationship between transformational leadership and employees' work engagement. Overall, this study showed that if leaders at organizations can assist employees to overcome negative factors such as psychological contract breach and organizational anomie through transformational leadership, it is possible to improve employees' work engagement.

Comparison of Environmental Efficiencies and Shadow Prices of Pollutants in Korean Cities (한국 도시의 환경효율성과 오염물 잠재가격 비교)

  • The purpose of this paper is to grasp levels of cost burden in pollution treatment by measuring efficiencies and shadow prices by pollutants in Korean cities. The efficiencies and shadow prices of pollutants will be compared for cities divided by Seoul metropolitan area and non-Seoul metropolitan area. Annual shadow prices of NOx, SOx, and PM10 emissions in the cities of Seoul metropolitan area are 0.846, 0.318, 0.816, respectively for 1999-2005. The annual shadow prices in the cities of Non-Seoul metropolitan area are 0.848, 0.272, and 0.789, respectively over the same periods. The shadow prices of SOx showed similar levels between two areas but those of NOx and PM10 of cities in Seoul metropolitan area were higher. NOx emission quantities of both areas have similar increasing patterns because the NOx has mainly increased with augmentation of transportation regardless of Seoul metropolitan and non-Seoul metropolitan areas. It seems that the reason the shadow prices of two pollutants for the cities of Seoul metropolitan area are higher, is because environmental regulation is stronger in the cities of Seoul metropolitan area, the cities of Seoul metropolitan relatively show higher quantities of pollution reduction under given desirable outputs, and generally have industrial sectors with small pollution emission. In the future we need to reduce pollutants in the various respects such as adjustment of overall industry structure, energy consumption pattern, and reviews of arrangement of living space for the cities located on the downward-sloping segment of production frontier.

A Study on the Current Situation Analysis of Korean Logistics Industry and the Characteristics of Logistics Firms (국내 물류시장의 현황과 물류기업의 특성에 관한 연구 -내부거래비중을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to have a main change of korea logistics industry analysis and take in the whole situation and the characteristics about a logistics firms. In korean logistics industry, The rate of a carriage is among the low-level as compared with the increasingly high prices for diesel. besides, a national logistics cost and the sales in the transportation industry has increased steadily. On the other hand, the number of trucks and transfer companies has decreased steadily. This change is attributed to expansion of logistics firm size through the limit on a raise in the number of trucks and introduction of a direct consignment system. But medium and small logistics firm size is dwindling in numbers. In the meantime, 2PL since early 2000s has rapidly rose as powerful players in logistics industry by a strong Support of the parent companies. Government and academia have long noted the limit and problems of 2PL system and emphasize on the necessity of activating the 3PL system. So this study divided broadly into two groups that the primary characteristics of korea logistics industry are 2PL and 3PL. Through the results of this study, the management and financial perspectives mean that there is a considerable difference between 2PL and 3PL.

  • 환경오염과 이상기후의 영향으로 인한 수자원의 고갈과 함께 국내의 경우 수자원 개발 계획 및 수요량을 감안할 때 향후 7 년 내에 물부족 현상을 겪을 것이라는 보고가 있 었으며, 환경부담을 줄이기 위해 폐수의 배출기준은 강화되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 제조 특성상 타 업종에 비해 폐수 발생량이 높은 편인 국내의 제지산업은 여러 해전부터 이에 대 한 방안을 모색하여 왔다. 일반적으로 폐수 수질 관리와 청수 사용량의 절감을 위해 고가의 폐수 처리 장치를 설치하거나 폐수 재활용을 통해 공정을 극도로 폐쇄화하는 방안으로 연구 가 진행되어 왔다. 이 중 용수의 재활용이 가장 경제적인 방법이지만, 재활용이 지속될수록 각종 무기염과 콜로이드성 유기물질이 축적되어 각종 약품의 효능 저하, 탈수속도의 저하 및 생산 제품의 품질 악화 등의 문제를 유발한다고 알려져 있다. 이를 해결하고자 하는 노 력으로 펄프 원료에 따른 공정수 내 용해성 물질의 분석과 재활용 횟수에 따른 각종 SS와 D DS의 축적 정도에 대한 기초 연구가 수행되었으며, 고폐쇄화된 공정에서 성능을 발휘할 수 있는 첨가제의 개발과 적용 방법에 대한 연구도 수행된 바 있다.여러 지종 가운데 골판지 원지는 용수의 재활용률이 상당히 높은 지종이기 때문에 공정수의 재활용이 진행될수록 열악한 저급 원료로부터 각종의 다양한 물질이 용출 혹은 배 출되며, 이러한‘물질은 골판지 원지의 강도 발현에 더욱 악영향을 미칠 것으로 판단되었다. 미세분으로 구성된 SS의 경우 이미 많은 연구를 통해 특성이 파악되었기 때문에 본 연구에 서는 ss를 제외한 공정수를 두 가지로 크게 나누어 고려하였다. 즉, ss로 측정되지 않지만 닥도를 유발할 수 있는 미세 무기물질과, 용해성의 무기염, 첨가제 및 추출물 둥으로 이루어 진 용해성 성분으로 나누어 분석하였으며, 또한 각각이 초지 특성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보 고자 하였다.을 해석코자 하였으며, 그 방법으 로 수치해석기법을 도입하였다. 또 실제 캘린더링 전후의 두께 변화를 측정하여 유리전이온도 의 도달 깊이와 비교하였다. 지필의 압축 정도는 롤의 직경과 닙 폭을 이용하여 MD 방향으 로 함수화하였으며, 열전달 계수로는 겉보기 값을 사용하였다. 이때 지펼은 균질한 것으로 가 정하였다. 함수율은 유리전이온도를 좌우하는 가장 큰 인자이나 본 연구에서는 항온항습처리 를 통해 유입지의 함수율을 고정시켰으며 캘린더링 시 함수율의 변이는 없다고 가정하였다. 그 결과 열침투깊이가 증가할수록 지필은 보다 변형되기 쉬운 상태가 되어 주어진 압력 조건에 대해 소성변형 정도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 캘린더링 전후에 두께 변화를 측정하여 정량적으로 평가할 수 있었다. 수치해석기법을 통해 같은 압력 조건에서 온도가 증 가함에 따라 혹은 같은 온도 조건에서 압력이 증가함에 따라 지필 내의 유리전이온도의 침투 깊이가 증가함을 알 수 있었으며 이는 캘린더링 전후의 두께 변화의 측정 결과와 일치하였 다. 또 NRT가 증가함에 따라서도 유리전이온도 침투 깊이가 증가하였다.합편에 비해 일부 우수한 양상을 보였지만 본 실험의 범위내에서는 통계적 정량적 차이를 제시할 수는 없었다. 향후 보다 광범위한 동물 실험이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.된다.하고도 완전교정술 도달 확률이 높은 치료전략이라는 사실을 입증하였으며 주대동맥폐동맥혈관부행지의 크기나 숫자가 단일화하기 쉬운 형태학적 특징을 지닌 경우에는 조기에 일단계완전교정술을 시행하여 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있다는 사실을 발견하였다. 반면 본 환아군 중 단일화술을 먼저 시도한 군에서는 비록 단계적인 단일화를 시도한 군에서 단일화술과 관계된 수술사망율이 약간 낮기는 하였으나 완전교정술까지 완료될 가능성에는 차이가 없었다. 그러나 이 경우 보다 정련된 적응 환자의 선택을 통한 단일화 우선전략의 시도와 장기 추

Development of a Fleet Management System for Cooperation Among Construction Equipment (건설장비 협업을 위한 플릿관리 시스템 개발)

  • In construction jobs, a combination of various kinds of machinery is used to perform earthworks at a large-scale site. Individual equipments essentially cooperate with each other on task such as excavation, load, transfer and compaction. While other area have studied cooperation system, related study in domestic construction is in poor condition. In this study, construction equipment fleet management system is developed for solving this problem and find way to improving efficiency in earthworks site. The entire concept of the fleet management system, including its components and process, has been systematically outlined in this paper. An operational methodology has also been suggested, where a number of machines, such as the excavators, trucks and compactors, are chosen and further grouped into a cluster. A case study verify fleet management system's effectiveness on performing task package by comparing existing work method with methodology in this study. Fleet management system in this study is expected to curtail fuel consumption by the reduction of working time and moving distance. Furthermore, it can be anticipated to declining carbon emission effect.

Construction and Services of Regional Information based on Industrial Complex (산업단지 기반의 경남지역정보화사업)

  • 본 사업은 1994년부터 1996년까지 3년 간 시범사업으로 추진된 지역정보화 사업의 과제인 창원/마산 지역정보 유통망 구축사업을 확대 발전시키고 시스템 운영의 효율화를 도모하고자 DB를 통합하여 확대 재 구축함으로써 전자상거래 기반의 인터넷을 통한 웹 정보 이용 활성화 차원에서 추진되었다. 기 구축되었던 $\ulcorner$창원/마산 지역정보유통망 구축사업$\lrcorner$은 정보화를 통한 지역경제 발전에 일익을 담당하고자 관. 산. 연이 참여한 지역정보화 사업이다. 이러한 창원/마산지역 산업체에 대한 지원효과를 이번에 확대하여 그 동안 Multimedia, Graphics, Web 등 정보화 환경이 크게 변화, 발전됨에 따라 현실적이며 현장적용형 패키지의 개발 지원이 대두된 $\ulcorner$경남지역 정보화확산사업$\lrcorner$은 연구개발정보센터와 창원시, 진해시, 한국기계연구원이 매칭 펀드에 의한 대응자금으로 구축한 시스템이다. 정보수집대상은 경남지역에 소재하고 있는 20개 산업단지 3,700여 입주기업을 정보수집요원이 직접 방문하여 현장에서 필요로 하는 요구정보를 반영하였다. 신규로 구축한 정보는 산업기반 기업체기본정보 DB 및 기업 기술개발 현장적용형 기술정보 패키지정보를 중심으로 구축하였으며, 인터넷 활용교육을 통한 동종 업종간 정보교류체제 구축하였다. 특히 Cyber Market을 구현하기 위해 1,200여건의 기업체정보 및 제조상품 DB를 응용한 제품 Mall 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 본 사업을 통하여 경남지역 산업단지에 입주한 기업체의 정보 활용을 극대화하여 지역경제 발전에 기여함과 동시에 국내 지역정보화 시범모델로서 위상을 확립하고자 한다.을 기업의 타인자본비용과 자기자본비용의 조합인 기회자본비용으로 할인함으로써 현재의 기업가치를 구할 수 있기 때문이다. 이처럼 기업이 영업활동이나 투자활동을 통해 현금을 창출하고 소비하는 경향은 해당 비즈니스 모델의 성격을 규정하는 자료도로 이용될 수 있다. 또한 최근 인터넷기업들의 부도가 발생하고 있는데, 기업의 부실원인이 어떤 것이든 사회전체의 생산력의 감소, 실업의 증가, 채권자 및 주주의 부의 감소, 심리적 불안으로 인한 경제활동의 위축, 기업 노하우의 소멸, 대외적 신용도의 하락 등과 같은 사회적·경제적 파급효과는 대단히 크다. 이상과 같은 기업부실의 효과를 고려할 때 부실기업을 미리 예측하는 일종의 조기경보장치를 갖는다는 것은 중요한 일이다. 현금흐름정보를 이용하여 기업의 부실을 예측하면 기업의 부실징후를 파악하는데 그치지 않고 부실의 원인을 파악하고 이에 대한 대응 전략을 수립하며 그 결과를 측정하는데 활용될 수도 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기업의 부도예측 정보 중 현금흐름정보를 통하여 '인터넷기업의 미래 현금흐름측정, 부도예측신호효과, 부실원인파악, 비즈니스 모델의 성격규정 등을 할 수 있는가'를 검증하려고 한다. 협력체계 확립, ${\circled}3$ 전문인력 확보 및 인력구성 조정, 그리고 ${\circled}4$ 방문보건사업의 강화 등이다., 대사(代謝)와 관계(關係)있음을 시사(示唆)해 주고 있다.ble nutrient (TDN) was highest in booting stage (59.7%); however no significant difference was found among other stages.
