  • As the delivery service market continued to increase, the number of delivery workers also increased, but the corresponding safety education is insufficient. Therefore, this study is going to explore the importance of safety education by grasping the relationship between safety awareness, accident experience, and safety behavior of delivery workers. With the help of the delivery workers' online community site, this study conducted a survey on the status of delivery workers' safety education for a total of 114 delivery workers. As a result of the association analysis, more than half of the general agency workers said they did not receive safety training, and delivery workers who completed safety training were 2.36 times more frequent than delivery workers who did not complete safety training. In addition, through correlation analysis and simple regression analysis, safety education had a positive effect on safety perception of delivery workers, and there was a significant correlation between safety perception and safety behavior. Through these, the relationship between safety education and safety awareness, safety behavior, and the number of accident experiences was noticed, and it was concluded that safety education should be mandatory on all delivery platforms to prevent accidents.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose development plan for systematic design and management of disaster and safety education curriculum in accordance with the revision of Framework act on the management of disasters and safety. The curriculum is intended for current disaster management professionals. Prior to analysis, disaster and safety professionals were classified into three categories: disaster practitioner, disaster manager, and disaster higher manager. And based on 24 disaster safety functions and 13 disaster management competence items, priorities of their task ability were derived. Considering practical effect of disaster and safety education, the course curriculum is divided to target groups of disaster practitioner, disaster manager, and disaster higher manager. Disaster management education curriculum and its design are based on the results of disaster prevention education contents development planning to reflect the elements of advanced disaster management education and to consider brand making of the curriculum and operation pattern.

  • This paper discusses the concept and continuously evolving applications of metaverse technology in the field of safety education, and proposes methodologies for employing metaverse technology in safety education. Additionally, it analyzes educational cases using the metaverse to explore specific directions for the advancement of safety education. Therefore, this study aims to propose methodologies for safety education utilizing metaverse technology. Recently, the metaverse has emerged as a new platform in various fields, including education. In particular, safety education using metaverse technology is carried out because it can provide an engaging learning experience by fostering understanding and immersion through interaction, moving away from one-way didactic teaching. This paper proposes a three-stage educational process for safety education using metaverse technology and presents various implementable projects and activity examples for each stage. This approach can contribute to developing practical response skills for various situations, going beyond traditional safety education methods. Future research is expected to deeply explore the long-term effectiveness of this educational methodology and its practical applicability in educational settings.

  • Existing safety education delivered to construction workers has limitations in concentration and immersion, so delivery power and interest are low. In order to improve the unstable behavior of construction workers and prevent safety accidents through education, a paradigm shift to hands-on education is necessary. Experiential safety education aims to contribute to the prevention of safety accidents and induce safe behavior by construction workers to recognize risks faster, select safe working methods suitable for the working environment, and improve emergency response and proactive response. Experiential education facilities have a follow-up learning effect in case of danger. The experience facility, which consists of the same working environment as the actual construction site, is designed to experience falls, equipment contraction, fire, and electric shock. In order to achieve the results of safety education that has invested a lot of time, construction workers must have motivation to participate, and "experiential safety education" through playful, deviant, and aesthetic experiences reduces serious accidents.

The basic study on extracting experiential type safety education programs for establishing safety-experience-education-facilities - focused on 「school safety education 7 standards」 - (학생 안전체험교육시설 구축을 위한 체험형 안전교육프로그램 도출 기초연구 - 「학교 안전교육 7대 표준안」을 중심으로 -)

  • This study was conducted to extract the student-centered experiential safety education activities in order to establish safety-experience-education-facilities based on "School safety education 7 standards" announced by the Ministry of Education in 2015. For this purpose, we established the concept of safety-experience-education-facilities, and conducted surveys twice targeting experts of each 7 fields based on the learned results of 758 sessions through "School safety education 7 standards". First, through the surveys, it was organized by 150 sessions out of 758 education class that extracted from safety-education-program sessions on experts, conducted a second expert survey for the validation of selected educational programs in Delphi format, the result of 5 sessions of the program is deleted, and 145 sessions was surveyed to be maintained. It was ascertained that 145 sessions of education program, 21 sessions of life safety area, 22 sessions of traffic safety area, 18 sessions of violence and personal safety area, 5 sessions of drugs and cyber addiction area, 36 sessions of disaster safety area, 10 sessions of occupation safety area, 33 sessions of first-aid area, is the experiential safety education activities that have to be applied to the safety-experience-education-facilities.
