Purpose: This paper aims at improving inefficiency of an existing posterior preference articulation method proposed for dual response surface optimization. The method generates a set of non-dominated solutions and then allows a decision maker (DM) to select the best solution among them through an interval selection strategy. Methods: This paper proposes an iterative posterior preference articulation method, which repeatedly generates the predetermined number of non-dominated solutions in an interval which becomes gradually narrower over rounds. Results: The existing method generates a good number of non-dominated solutions not used in the DM's selection process, while the proposed method generates the minimal number of non-dominated solutions necessitated in the selection process. Conclusion: The proposed method enables a satisfactory compromise solution to be achieved with minimal cognitive burden of the DM as well as with light computation load in generating non-dominated solutions.

the reduction of the interior nosie level has been the main interest of NVH engineers in the development of vehicles. However, the consumer's perception on the car noise is affected largely by the psychoacoustic characteristics of the noise, as well as the sound pressure level. In this study, the quality of the vehicle interior nosie is analyzed by employing the subjective evaluations and by representing them in temrs of the objective quantities. The subjective evaluatins were performed for the seven vehicles in the range of subcompact to luxury cars. The methods of paired comparisons and semantic differential were used to study the preference, the quality of interior noise and their correlation. The linear regression models were obtained for the subjective evaluation and the sound quality metrics.

This paper proposes method to find the subjective satisfaction index of an air-conditioner using consumer's sensory evaluation for an air-conditioner. A satisfaction index of an air-conditioner is presented the annoyance and freshness as ${\alphs}$, ${\beta}$ exponents of 1/f slope and is changed the annoyance and freshness as exponents of 1/f slope are changed. The satisfaction index of an air-conditioner is not improved if SPL is above the proper level although the 1/f slope has optimal ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ values. Therefore, this paper proposes the satisfaction index of an air-conditioner considered both SPL and ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ exponents of 1/f slope.

A weighted sound pressure level has been used to evaluate sounds test or sound quality test for a refrigerator up to present but the customer had different satisfactions of refrigerator sounds with different listening position. It means that there was a sound directivity caused by a position of fan or compressor. In this paper, we proposed a sound power spectrum guideline that represents total sound of refrigerator.

화력발전기의 주간운용계획을 수립함에 있어 여러 에너지사용에 관련된 제약조건의 지배를 받는 발전기를 효율적으로 고려할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 개발하였다. 우선 이를 위하여 에너지제약을 고려한 운용계획문제를 Lagrangian Relaxation법에 의해 모델링하였다. 또한 에너지제약을 만족하는 최적의 화력발전기의 기동정지계획 및 발전출력을 원문제 내에서 구할 수 있도록 하였으며, 쌍대문제를 효율적으로 풀 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발하여 보다 빠르고 정확한 해를 구할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안한 방법을 시험계통 및 대규모 실계통에 적용하여 유용성을 검증하였다.

Recent advances in linear programming solution methodology have focused on interior point methods. This powerful new class of methods achieves significant reductions in computer time for large linear programs and solves problems significantly larger than previously possible. These methods can be examined from points of Fiacco and McCormick's barrier method, Lagrangian duality, Newton's method, and others. This study presents a primal-dual log barrier algorithm of interior point methods for linear programming. The primal-dual log barrier method is currently the most efficient and successful variant of interior point methods. This paper also addresses a Cholesky factorization method of symmetric positive definite matrices arising in interior point methods. A special structure of the matrices, called supernode, is exploited to use computational techniques such as direct addressing and loop-unrolling. Two dense matrix handling techniques are also presented to handle dense columns of the original matrix A. The two techniques may minimize storage requirement for factor matrix L and a smaller number of arithmetic operations in the matrix L computation.

Mean squared error (MSE) is an effective criterion to combine the mean and the standard deviation responses in dual response surface optimization. The bias and variance components of MSE need to be weighted properly in the given problem situation. This paper proposes a systematic method to determine the relative weights of bias and variance in accordance with a decision maker's prior and posterior preference structure.

기존의 일관성 개념은 임의적인 평가를 가정하고 있으며, 실제 AHP procedure에 반영되는 개념의 기준이 아닌 RI를 통해서 정의 내리고 있다. 수식적인 관점에서도, 경험적인 상대 비율을 통해 CR이 계산되어지고 있으며, 타당한 평가행렬이 Discard될 수도 있다. 이상적인 평가기준을 제시하는 것이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 기존 AHP 절차에 있어서 일관성 기준의 개념 및 적용과 9점 척도의 한계성에 의한 문제점을 제시하고 이 문제점을 개선할 수 있는 새로운 쌍대 행렬 평가기준을 제시하고자 한다.

스톤은 스톤 쌍대성에 의하여 완비 불 대수는 극단적으로 비연결인 콤팩트 하우스도르프 공간에 대응되어 불 대수의 범주 Bool에서 단사 대상은 완비 불 대수인 사실에 의하여 0차원 콤팩트 공간의 범주 ZComp의 사영 대상은 극단적으로 비연결인 콤팩트 공간임을 증명하였고, 완전 정규 공간 X가 극단적인 비연결 공간이기 위한 필요충분조건은 X에서 실직선로의 연속함수의 순서집합 C(X, )이 데데킨트 완비인 사실[6]이 드모르간 틀에서도 성립함을 증명하였다[2]. 이 논문에서는 드 모르간의 역사를 조사하고, 드모르간 틀을 도입하여 극단적인 비연결 공간과의 관계와 드 모르간 틀과 불 대수 사이의 관계를 연구한다.

AHP는 수학적 이론이 간명하고 실제 적용이 용이하여 다양한 분야에서 폭 넓게 활용되고 있는 의사결정 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 AHP의 수학적 배경을 고찰하고, AHP가 수학교육의 목적인 실용성, 도야성, 심미성, 문화적 가치 등을 실천하고 있음을 논의하였다. 또한 이러한 논의를 통하여 수학 교육과 학습에 대한 하나의 대안을 제시하였다.
