Using a psychometric paradigm, risk perception of 30 hazards was investigated for three social groups-college students, experts of technologies, and employees of environmental organizations. The aim of this study was to examine psychological dimensions of risk perception, namely, to replicate the psychological dimensions - dread and knowledge -, which Slovic et al(1978; 1984; 1987) found and to forker explore discrepancies between societal groups. The results confirmed the same psychological dimensions Slovic et al have found. However, there are a number of significant differences in perceived risk such as perceived social benefits and other risk characteristics between three groups that suggest differences in ecological attitudes. The results were compared with those of Slovic et af and the nature of differences in risk perception among three groups were discussed.

The conclusions shown by this study are as follows: Firstly, Despite the similarity of the objective distance caused by the geographic distance and cultural similarities. it is found that the psychic distance factor still exists. Secondly, a new affective factor of psychic distance has been noted. As to the shaping method, even though culture and psychic distance involve homeogenic factors, psychic distance is more complex in that it is affected not only by cultural changes but also by other affective factors. Culture is a very significant factor, which can have an effect on forming psychic distance, but it is short of being a measurement variable for measuring psychic distance. Thirdly, psychic distance can have a direct effect on customers' buying response. If it is just a belief shared among the people of a nation, it can't become an important notion.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of romantic competence on the relation between romantic attachment and psychological well-being. A sample of 206 college students was employed. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations and hierarchical regressions. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, romantic attachment was negatively associated with psychological well-being and romantic competence. Also, romantic competence was positively associated with psychological well-being. Second, there was partial mediating effect of romantic competence on the relation between romantic attachment and psychological well-being. This study explored the direct effect of romantic attachment on psychological well-being and the indirect effect of romantic attachment on psychological well-being through romantic competence. The results imply that personal relationship skills should be considered to enhance psychological well-being when planning programs or counseling for college students.

The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between psychological capital and job performance of social workers at welfare centers for the disabled. For that purpose, a self-reported questionnaire survey was conducted on 900 social workers at welfare center for the disabled nationwide, and a total of 864 copies of data were used for the final analysis. As a result of the main analysis, first, there was a positive(+) correlation between self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resilience which are the sub-elements of psychological capital, and contextuality and task performance, which are the sub-elements of job performance. Second, among the sub-elements of psychological capital, self-efficacy and hope showed statistically significant positive(+) effects on task performance. Third, it was found that optimism as well as self-efficacy and hope had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on contextual performance. Based on those findings, this study suggested practical and policy alternatives to improve the job performance of social workers at welfare centers for the disabled.

In this paper, we study the conflict management plan of the organization in the age of convergence. More specifically, we reveal the impact of the conflict according to behavior of the leader. To this purpose, The behavior of the leader were classified as Supportive Leader and Controlled Leader, and forms of Resistance wert classified as Functional Resistance and Dysfunctional Resistance that results of the conflict. Also, Psychological Contract Violation and Breach was set up as a mediate variable. The results were as follows. First, When employee resistance comes up in the organization, Support behavior of Leaders leads to desirable changes in the organization through the functional and constructive resistance. In contrast, Controlled behavior of Leaders leads the destructive and dysfunctional resistance of employee. Second, Since the perception that the follower is receiving assistance to leaders, it reduces the perception of psychological contract violation, but Controlled leader is largely perceived as the Psychological Contract Violation to the followers. Third, Supportive Leader is not influence the affect of employee, and They resolve the Conflict in objective and positive way. Therefore, the results of this study have many theoretical and practical implications.

본 연구는 동일 제품범주 내에서 상호 대체가능성(substitutability)을 중심으로 연구 되어 왔던 상표간의 사용상황 대체(substitution-in-use) 이론을 산업간 경쟁의 차원으로 확대하여 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 소비자의 소비경험이 선택기준의 중요한 요소로 작용하는 서비스부문을 대상으로 소비자의 선택동기, 즉 소비동기의 차원에서 산업간 경쟁구조와 경쟁강도를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구의 범위는 마케팅 분야에서 비교적 소외되어 왔던 엔터테인먼트 부문, 특히 문화예술부문과 스포츠부문에 초점을 맞추었다. 연구방법으로는 이들간의 심리적 거리를 측정하여, 그 근접성의 정도에 따라 산업간 경쟁구조와 경쟁특성을 분석하였다. 분석도구는 그 동안 마케팅의 영역에서 특정 산업 내에의 상표간 경쟁구조를 연구하는데 이용되었던 심리적 거리측정도구를 이용하였다. 이에 따라 구매자의 사용목적에 따른 상표간 대체 가능성을 산업간의 심리적 근접성을 이용해 측정하고 그 거리의 크기에 따라 경쟁강도의 선택의 대체성을 분석하였다. 방법론적 측면에서는 먼저 엔터테인먼트산업, 문화예술과 공연예술산업, 그리고 스포츠 등의 소비동기 유형을 살펴본 후, 이들 중에서 중복가능성이 있는 동기유형을 선별하였다. 이에 따라 다양한 관람 엔터테인먼트산업에서 나타나고 있는 12개의 소비동기 유 형을 발견할 수 있었다. 이후 이렇게 추출된 동기유형을 대상으로 산업간 대체성을 심적 거리좌표를 이용하여 측정하고 측정된 자료를 다차원척도법(MDS)을 이용해 2차원의 공간 상에 투사하였다. 그리고 상호간의 근접성과 경쟁구조를 확인하고 분석결과에 대해 논의 하였다. 분석결과 엔터테인먼트 상품들간에는 근접성의 차원에서 서로 대체될 수 있음을 발견할 수 있었고 이는 이들이 동일한 시장을 대상으로 경쟁관계가 있음을 시사하는 것이다. 개별 관람동기 차원의 분석 결과, 관람 엔터테인먼트 소비자들은 동일한 관람동기를 서로 다른 많은 유형의 엔터테인먼트산업이나 공연예술, 문화예술상품, 쇼나 오락, 관람스포츠 등에 의해 해결하고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 사용한 접근방법과 연구의 결과는 향후 간접적 관계에서 직접적 관계로 경쟁이 확대되는 많은 마케팅분야에 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

서울 강북지역 성인남녀 218명으로 대상으로 한 본 연구에서 이웃관계, 심리적 자본, 지역사회주거환경, 정부나 사회단체로부터 지원받은 경험이 사회자본에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 결과를 통해 개인적인 심리적 자본 외에 지역사회 환경과 사회적 차원의 지원이 필요함을 제안하였다.

This research examined the effect of social anxiety on psychological adaptation. Higher the social anxiety, higher in neurotism & worry but lower in Psychological Well-Being and Satisfaction with Life. Among the sub-factors of social anxiety, negative adaptation was significantly predicted by personal anxiety. However positive adaption were predicted by personal anxiety, fairness anxiety and future anxiety. Among the sub-dimensions of social anxiety, negative and positive adaptation were significantly predicted only by anticipatory anxiety. And there were significant positive correlations between social anxiety and aggressive/give-up response. Particularly, personal anxiety was the predictor of aggressive response, but safe anxiety and political anxiety were the predictors of give-up response. The dimension predicted the aggressive/give-up response was anticipatory anxiety dimension. Finally, respondents used problem solving stress coping strategy most. But the respondents whose social anxiety level especially safe anxiety and political anxiety were high used wishful thinking strategy. Moreover higher the reactive anxiety level, more frequently used the avoidance coping strategy.

This study examined what factors were associated with psychological well-being of grandparents providing daily care to their grandchildren. More focus on the role of various mediators such as caregiving perception and resources were given to investigate the complicated relationships between providing care and psychological function. I used the nationally representative data from the '2008 Korean National Survey of Welfare Need in the Elderly'. Results showed that there were diverse circumstances of caregiving. Grandparents who cared their grandchildren on behalf of dual career parents emerged predominantly from them. Findings also suggested that type of caregiving was related to external factors. Grandparents shouldering greater responsibility for their grandchildren showed lower levels of resources such as financial conditions and social support, and more negative perception of caregiving, which in turn was associated with lower psychological well-being. Finally, more financial resource and neighborhood support directly influenced more positive perception of caregiving. To enhance resources and empower grandparents raising their grandchildren, community-based intervening mechanism incorporating various environments and effective services to meet the needs of grandparents should be discussed in future studies.

쾌적한 음환경을 창조하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 음이 갖는 심리적 속성과 인지구조 를 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 이 연구는 여러 가지 환경음중에서 유쾌음에 대한 심리적 속성, 그리고 그 속성과 음과의 관계를 정성적으로 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 특히, 음에 대한 감정 및 정서표현에 사회문화적 차이가 있다는 점을 감안하여 한국어 표현어를 심층적으로 조사·분석하고, 36종류의 표현어와 34종류의 유쾌음에 대해서 평정척도법을 이용한 심리평 가 실험을 실시하였다. 실험의 분석결과, 유쾌음의 심리적 속성은 활동성, 안정성, 박력성의 3가지 요인이 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 음과 표현어사이의 관계를 파악하기 위해 다 차원척도법을 이용한 선호도분석에 의해서 3가지 요인과 음과의 관계를 파악해 보았다. 이 결과는 유쾌음에 대한 평가시 중요한 심리적 속성으로서, 음의 물리적 평가방법 및 음환경 의 쾌적성 창조를 위한 중요한 실마리를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.
