A study on e-leisure mobile AR in outdoor environments (실외환경에서의 e-레저 모바일 AR에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, new content for e-leisure, including e-sports and e-games, has become necessary. To meet this requirement, e-leisure mobile AR studies which track human are underway. The tracking performance at long distances is important because e-leisure mobile AR is used in outdoor environments. However, conventional mobile AR applications such as SNOW and Snapchat have the disadvantage of low tracking performance at long distances. Therefore, we propose an e-leisure mobile AR in outdoor environments. The proposed e-leisure mobile AR can estimate the position of the head in outdoor environments at long distances by using color markers and the human body ratio, and then augment a virtual object at the estimated position. The performance of the proposed e-leisure mobile AR was evaluated by measuring the tracking performance and processing time.

  • 일반적으로 환경오염 하면 대기, 수질 토양오염과 같은 실외 오염을 의미하며, 우리 나라의 경우 대부분의 환경오염에 대한 연구가 이들에 집중되어 있다. 그러나 실질적으로 일반인이 실외에서 보내는 시간보다도 실내에서 지내는 시간 (70∼80%) 이 월등히 많으며, 외국의 여러 보고에 의하면 대기오염보다 실내공기 오염이 일반인의 건강에 미치는 영향이 훨씬 현저하다(Table 1), 그러나 우리 나라의 경우 환경에 관한 연구는 환경부에서 주도한 관계로 실외 환경오염에 집중되어 있다.(중략)

  • In the case of outdoor moving of robot, it is differ to indoor moving case due to it cannot prepare map early for entire outdoor environments, there is nearly no research based on map because most outdoor robots use GPS. In this paper, we implement outdoor robot localization that using precision GPS and then GPS data applying MCL algorithm in outdoor environments of plane of 2 dimensional without incline section. We also perform a simple mission scenario by using applied robot localization in outdoor robot. We applying OpenRTM based on middleware, we can be controlled and grasped situation of the outdoor robot by remote through server by manager.

  • 본 논문에서는 WCDMA/TDD시스템에서 실외 환경에 셀 간 간섭 모델과 빌딩내의 층 간 간섭 모델을 비교하여 성능을 분석하였다. 실내 빌딩 환경에서 층 간 간섭 분석 모델을 고려 시, 건축 자재에 의한 전파 투과손실로 인해 인접 셀로부터 오는 간섭의 영향이 작아짐으로 실외환경을 고려한 셀 간 간섭 모델에 비해 성능이 좋음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 WCDMA/TDD시스템은 광범위한 교외지역이나 피코 셀로 설계된 도심지역보다 층 간 간섭 모델을 기반으로 둔 빌딩내 사무실 환경을 고려한 시스템 설계에 더 적합할 것이라 사료된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 실외 영상에서의 새로운 접근 방식의 복합 조명 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 복합 조명 알고리즘들이 동시에 두 조명을 추정하는 것에 비해 제안 알고리즘은 먼저 단일 조명 기법을 적용하여 첫번째 광원의 색을 추정한 후에 각 영역에서 유사 패치 쌍을 찾아 두번째 광원의 색을 추정하는 방식이다. 일반적인 복합 조명 환경에서는 적용하기 힘들지만 환경을 실외로 제한하여 실외의 광원인 햇빛과 그늘 사이의 관계를 이용하여 효과적으로 유사 패치를 찾아 두 광원의 색을 추정한다. 따라서 실외 환경을 촬영하여 얻은 raw 파일 영상에 제안 알고리즘을 적용하여 효과적으로 광원들의 영향을 제거할 수 있다.

Outdoor play in preschools in England and Finland: Outdoor environment, management, educators' perspectives (영국 및 핀란드 유아교육기관의 실외놀이:)

  • This study investigated how quality outdoor play is implemented in preschools in England and Finland. The four preschools in each country which were known as high quality in terms of outdoor play were selected as samples. The researcher visited these institutions twice, once in warm season and once in cold season as the outdoor play is implemented differently according to the weather and seasons. She observed children's outdoor play, the environment of outdoor areas, resources and materials provided, the management of outdoor areas in terms of time and space. She also interviewed with the educators in order to find out their perspectives on the importance and values of outdoor play. The results showed that the outdoor areas of these preschools were characterized as 'towards nature', and the outdoor play was implemented for 'wellbeing and health'. The outdoor areas were opened in all weathers and risky play was allowed. However, challenges and safety were co-existed by achieving balance between proper safety check and challenging and risky play. They pursuit the integration of indoor and outdoor activities, beyond just simple outdoor play, through constitution of a variety of areas and various resources and materials in outdoor environment. They encouraged children's autonomy and independence through child-initiative play and activities among children by regarding children's interests and choices. In preschools in our country, we need to consider these characteristics of outdoor play in England and Finland in order to promote children's wellbeing and health, connection and extension of indoor and outdoor play and activities, children's initiatives, imagination, creativity, and problem-solving capacity.

  • Location tracking system represents position by searching objects and humans. In this paper I would like to write about RF chip support Zigbee which is called CC2420. In simulated network circumstance, we can get the information about mobile-node by sending it to sink-node. Position finding is in error by 3m at outdoor environment. The error scale is acceptable within easy range of naked eyes. It can be overcome by using GPS information and Google maps with the wireless networking background.

  • This paper is research paper on the MPD(Magnet Position Device) for the outdoor MGV(Magnet /Magnet Gyro Guidance Vehicle). Usually, MGV is used in indoor environment because of a measurement height of the magnet position device. CMPD(Commercial magnet position device) has 30 mm measurement height, so this is suitable structure in indoor environment like to a flat surface. Outdoor environment is an uneven and irregular, So Outdoor MGV must has a suspension. But CMPD is unsuitable for outdoor environment because of a collision with a surface caused by suspension. Thus, measurement height of the outdoor MPD is positively necessary more than 100 mm. So, we suggest the outdoor MPD using analog magnet hall sensor, moving average filter and Characteristic(rate of the magnet hall sensor) function of the localization. Result of the experiments, the proposed Magnet Position Device for the outdoor MGV has localization accuracy 4.31 mm, measurement height 150 mm and width 150 mm and is efficient more than CMPD.

  • 공간 질의 및 색인에 관한 기존 연구는 주로 실외 환경에 기반을 두고 있다. 실내 환경은 실외 환경과는 달리 질의 특성 및 환경적 요소가 다르다. 실내 환경 질의의 대표적인 특징은 객체의 현재 위치를 파악하고 즉시 응답해야하며, 질의 범위도 지역적으로 제한되어 있는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구가 가진 문제점을 해결하기 위해 메인 메모리 기반의 DBMS를 사용하며, 실내 환경에서 객체의 위치 탐색시 효율적으로 적응할 수 있는 비트맵 인덱스 기법을 제안한다.

  • As quantities of the data that transmitting by the wireless are more increased, the interest and application are extending about 802.11n that uses by combination two existing 20MHz wireless LAN Channel. 802.11n use dual band of 2.4GHz band and 5.8GHz. So this is expected in mass wireless transmission method because of interference evasion effect in compliance with the radio communication of existing 2GHz neighborhood band. Like this 802.11n uses the radio as well and transmits information there is not only a possibility of undergoing an influence in radio wave environment of circumference. Specially the interior environment and outdoor environment is a possibility of saying that will be defined with each other different modeling as affects in radio communication is different. In this paper, we'll compare the influence to RF feature (802.11n) by (Indoor/Outdoor) environment difference through compared with 802.11n RF feature and Network feature in (Indoor/Outdoor) environment and also examine the correlation between RF feature and Network feature.
