  • The purpose of this study is to identify the difficulties of learners who started programming after entering college and to search an effective software education method as university liber arts for non-science major students. In order to do this, we analyzed the difficulties of learners in Python programming classes composed of students from various majors at H University through questioning and taught them using flipped class model with pre-questions. The questions that students submit are collected online before class every time, the data on the degree of the difficulty of feeling and the understanding of feeling were obtained through the questionnaire. As a result, for learners who are new to programming, the learners should allocate the process of making the problem into a logical abstraction at the beginning of the curriculum before learning the basic concept of computer language, each lesson should be practiced through the bottom-up problems enough to provide a logical understanding before actual coding. In addition, detailed curriculum should be developed according to characteristics of learner's major, contents and conducting level.

  • In this paper, we propose the educational model for a convergence minor by fusing culinary arts with robot technology to develop coding ability for the students in the culinary arts major which is not originally related to software field. It is meaningful that the educational model follows the trend along the development of the fourth industrial revolution technology and has the function to make the students who are not in software major grow as software experts. However there are difficulties in designing the convergence minor because the culinary arts major is distant to the robot technology in the view of technology. To overcome this difficulty the convergence minor is designed to attract the interest for the students in culinary arts major by construct educational subjects systematically such as cooking, dessert making, barista working, autonomous serving and so on based on robots. Also the practices in which various robots are utilized are included in the convergence minor to develop actual coding ability. By comparison to the other models of convergence minors, the proposed model shows enhanced educational effects in 20% than the others.

  • The purpose of this study is a method to discover problems and improve them by analyzing the status of software education of A primary school conducted by online class. The coronavirus infection-19(COVID-19) pandemic, which began in early 2020, has continued to delay the start of the new semester. Finally, on April 9, 2020, the first semester began with online class. While progressing non-face to face online class, most students said they had difficulties. Students solved difficulties in class with Internet searches or program hints, not teachers. In the post-class self-evaluation, most students answered that there was no increase in coding skills. To solve this problem, the school rents additional smart devices to student. schools should have real-time interactive classes. After covid 19, online class became a paradigm for classes. Therefore, software education will also require research and development of curriculum and teaching learning methods suitable for online classes.

  • Though programming education has been stressed recently, the elementary, middle, and high school students are having trouble in programming education. Most programming environments for them are based on block coding, which hinders them from moving to text coding. The traditional PC environment has also troubles such as maintenance problems. In this situation, mobile applications can be considered as alternative programming environments. This paper addresses the design and implementation of coding applications for mobile devices. As a prototype, a Scheme interpreter mobile app is proposed, where Scheme is used for programming courses at MIT since it supports multi-paradigm programming. The implementation has the advantage of not consuming the network bandwidth since it is designed as a standalone application. According to the benchmark result, the execution time on Android devices, relative to that on a desktop, was 131% for the Derivative and 157% for the Tak. Further, the maximum execution times for the benchmark programs on the Android device were 19.8ms for the Derivative and 131.15ms for the Tak benchmark. This confirms that when selecting an Android device for programming education purposes, there are no significant constraints for training.

  • The purpose of this study was to offer fundamental data to manage countertransference, and to research into countertransference management ability by aspects in therapists' experiences in countertransference and their professional characters. For the paper, a survey was conducted on 62 music therapists who provided professional music therapy after finishing graduate school of music therapy through clinical practice and internship, and the result was drawn as follows. Around 84% of participants answered that they had been in trouble by countertransference in the analysis of a questionnaire regarding experience in countertransference. 48% among them first experienced countertransference during the practice in graduate school. 27% and 14% respectively answered that they experienced it within 3 years after graduation and during internship. Also, the result showed that therapists usually had difficulty with adults with mental disease, and the second most difficult clients were children with developmental disabilities. 76% of participants who had difficulty by countertransference answered that they were able to manage it to some degree, and almost all who answered thought that research into countertransference and management were necessary. About the question as to how to manage countertransference, 54% suggested self-analysis and self-therapy. 33% answered that countertransference should be treated through supervision. Finally, 13% of participants answered that it should be handled in graduate school. In this paper, which empirically examined therapists' experience in countertransference and countertransference management ability had meaning in providing essential basic data for music therapists to apply and manage countertransference for therapists themselves, as well as for clients.

  • This study developed HanScript, which is an educational Hangul programming language, in order to make programs easily and conveniently and applied it to the school fields. To evaluate HanScript, additionally, the researcher divided the properties of educational programming languages into easiness to read, easiness to write and easiness to debug and, based on them, compared HanScript with Visual Basic. According to the result, HanScript was expressed in Korean language style, so was easier to read and debug than Visual Basic. But it was not different from Visual Basic in debugging. Due to fewer libraries compared to Visual Basic, however, it was difficult to implement complex functions using HanScript. In addition, HanScript did not include an editor to edit source codes. Thus, if HanScript is equipped with rich libraries, detailed debugging information and an editor for source code edition, it will be a useful educational programming language.
