  • The effects of mentoring education bring positive effects such as mentees' capacity building, knowledge improvement and positive attitude. The major difficulties that nursing college students experience in clinical practice are low adaptability, lack of confidence, etc. Therefore, this study developed mentoring education program to improve the problem-solving ability, learning attitude, and confidence in nursing skill before clinical practice for nursing college students and evaluated their effectiveness. In order to develop the program, a group of experts consisting of professors and clinical nurses selected 11 topics after discussing nursing skills and knowledge, which were most required in clinical practice. The program involved 14 mentors who operated practice, counseling, video clips, and contextual discussions for two days to a group of 9 to 10 people. Nursing college students who received the mentoring education program showed a significant increase in learning attitude and confidence in performance of nursing skills, but there was no statistically significant difference in problem-solving ability. This study is meaningful in that it has improved the educational effect by using mentoring methods, away from formal in-school practice education. In the future, it will be necessary to evaluate whether the mentoring education program affect the problem-solving ability of nursing students by applying it before, during, and after clinical practice rather than in a short period.

  • This paper introduces computer based practice for engineering education through using NI-ELVIS and virtual instruments of LabVIEW as application software. Different laboratory experiments "Labs" will be presented as convenient paradigms of adopting computer based practice for the efficacy of engineering education. Remote labs as web/internet or network-enabled controlled by remote server computer have been extensively used by a number of universities, national laboratories and companies for different kind of application around the globe. Overtime, as technology proceed in its progress, more developed techniques are being used particularly in the field of engineering education.

  • For an e-learning class, many voice and video technics for enhancing student teacher interaction. But for programming exercise courses, it's very difficult to add interactive components via web browser. In this paper, we make an online algorithm bank to manage and search algorithms, build an programming exercise interface on web. Students can edit, compile and execute programs included in online algorithm bank. Online program compile and execution enhance e-learning effectiveness for programming courses, and make students feel ease for computer algorithms.

  • In order to overcome practical limitations in installing, managing and operating MRI machines with expensive equipment, this study developed and utilized virtual reality (VR) experience education by combining virtual reality (VR) with magnetic resonance imaging devices. The Students who experienced virtual reality-based educational systems were surveyed to identify possible side effects during the experience and self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy surveys were conducted to analyze the impact of virtual reality-based practice on learning. In the analysis of the self-directed learning ability survey there was no difference in the average between the student group who experienced education and the student group who did not but there was a significant difference in the average for each group. Virtual Reality-based practical education is expected to provide an efficient practice system by providing new learning methods and opportunities for education that can be repeated anytime, anywhere regardless of time and space.

  • Field practicum is the core of Social Work education and plays a key role in the integration of theory and practice. To maximize the effectiveness of field education, it is important that both the faculty field liaison and field instructor are cooperated. However, the current field education is almost dependent on the supervision by field instructors. This study explores the perception on the areas of supervision by using the Q-methodology. As a result, the perception of faculty field liaison was categorized into three types and field instructors' was two. Their types of perception were partially overlapped rather than contrast. Findings of the study suggested the need for greater collaboration between academia and agencies.

  • This study is a qualitative research attempted to understand meaning and essential structure of experience of nursing students who received simulation training and video watching education. The collected data were analyzed using the Colaizzi method among the phenomenological methods. The results of the study showed that the simulation practice was divided into three categories (experience of clinical nursing in advance, benefit of simulation exercise, limitation of simulation exercise) and 14 themes. Video watching education was derived from three categories (convenience of education, increase of educational effect, lack of knowledge transfer) and 6 themes. In conclusion, it is suggested that the simulation training and the video watching education should be reflected the results of this study in order to apply to the nursing curriculum effectively.

  • This study analyzes the present condition and the environment of the university education centered on the practice in the film field and suggests the effective development plan for the new or improved practice. Recently, as a new breakthrough in infant education in the rapidly declining educational environment, the introduction of arts education, on-site self-study, and practice-centered laboratory exercises are increasing students' satisfaction. However, compared to trend, our practical education and creative education programs are lacking in reality. In this study, we analyze and study the effective development method of education through researching the satisfaction pattern and the education program of the students who are the center of the production practice shown in the movie image production, and building the paradigm, I would like to suggest a direction for the production education.

  • This research is to design basic framework for developing teaching and learning method in the field of art and design major in university. Especially taking off from oneway e-learning teaching method, it is focused on increasing reality of student learning situation with applying AR contents process to augment virtual condition on reality condition. The processing of framework design and developing teaching and learning method are about practice education based on AR for model experiment research which was published "The E-Learning for Practice Training Using Augmented Reality in the College Education". This thesis is supposed to be a precedent study of the pre-published, and the purpose of those two studies were for experiment test in earnest in studying effect research. The classification of learning method divided basically as Face-to-Face Learning(FFL), Blended Learning(BL), fully E-Learning(EL), and Augmented Reality based E-Learning(AREL). This research compares and analyzes each frame of FFL, BL, and EL. And then, designed framework lead to the over-all conclusion with the type of AREL. Additionally, AREL for PBE suggests the ways of advanced teaching learning.

  • This study was done to compare the educational effects of two nursing students groups, CPR theoretical and practical education versus CPR theoretical education only. It would be used as a basis for more effective CPR training of future nursing students. The subjects in study were 72 nursing students in D college D city, from august 22 to august 24, 2011. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 18.0 program for the frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test, t-test and paired t-test. On the findings of this study, CPR training improved not only CPR performance but also self-efficacy in the both groups. Especially, the combination with theoretical and practical education was seen as a more effective methods. Therefore, combinational training would be required for more effective CPR training, rather than focusing on training for improving their simple knowledge. Furthermore, it will help nursing students to perform quickly and accurately CPR in unforeseen situations.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of mental simulation practice training using standardized patients for nursing students. This study is a single-group pre- and post-design study, and for data collection, a structured questionnaire was provided to 95 nursing students from a university located in J. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 27.0 program. Results of the study The mental simulation practice training program using standardized patients improved the subject's learning motivation (t=-2.011, p=.046), learning self-efficacy (t=-2.225, p=.027), and learning satisfaction (t=-). 3.428, p=.001) and transfer motivation (t=-2.628, p=.009). In addition, as a result of analyzing the self-assessment contents by text mining, words related to mental simulation practice education using standardized patients included situation, experience, acting, communication, scenario, and mental nursing clinical practice, and words related to satisfaction were actual, There was help, response, understanding, variety, etc. As a result of this study, an environment similar to the actual situation was implemented, and the mental simulation training program applying various cases was found to be effective in practical education of nursing students, so it is necessary to actively utilize it to improve the ability to adapt to the field in the future.
