Design and Analysis of Continuous Media Representation Mechanism to minimize the Variance of Latency Time (지연시간의 변화를 고려한 연속미디어 표현 메카니즘의 설계 및 분석)

  • In this paper, a mechanism to enhance the utilization of the tertiary storage devices such as optical disk, digital tape and so on is proposed. For this purpose, we suggest a storage structure with a CD-ROM and multiple disk and design an efficient mechanism to represent the continuous media stored in CD-ROM. The continuous media storage structure proposed in this pater can enhanced the retrieval capability of information by sending data using a shared bus with high bandwidth. And a continuous media representation mechanism not only can reduce the discontinuity of representation using parallel operation of fetch and representation but also minimize the variance of service time and the missing ratio of re-reference requirement by residing frequently accessed object on the disk.

Development of Value Teaching-Learning Program in Geographic Education (지리교육에서의 가치교수-학습 프로그램의 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop value instruction program which can deal with geographic value problem(GVP) in geographic education. This program is organized into seven stages: identification of GVP(reading of content of GVP, and categorization and description of action which involved in content), analysis of GVP(comparison and analysis of GVP, and ordering of value positions), decision making, justification of decision making and actualization. The processes of decision making and their related activities are emphasized in this program. In experimental classroom, it took effects to providing subjective experiences with students, developing decision making ability, and giving responsibility of decision making. Therefore this study suggests that this program helps students to improve their social participation ability as the democratic citizenship.

  • This study is a follow-up study of the previous research for teacher education(Kim Nam Hee, 2006, 2009, 2013, 2014). This study was conducted with third grade students of the college of education in 2016. In this study, we guided to allow pre-service teachers to develop their teaching research ability and teaching practical skills using the results obtained from the in-service teachers training courses. Processes mainly performed in this study are as follows; learning the theory on Socrates' method, case study for thought experiment activities, instructional simulation using a Socrates' method, class analysis, textbook analysis, peer evaluation, self-assessment. Observing tutorial examples by in-service teachers, pre-service teachers were expanding their limited knowledge and experience. By analyzing the results obtained from this research processes, we checked the points to put more attention in future pre-service teachers education.

  • 목적: 본 연구는 실무 현장과 교육 현장의 조사를 통한 종합적인 의견을 수렴하여 합리적인 치과기공사 양성 및 배출을 위한 개선안을 도출하고자 한다. 방법: 3회에 걸쳐 설문조사가 진행되었으며, 1차는 개방형 문항으로 조사되었고, 2차, 3차는 폐쇄형 문항으로 조사되었다. 델파이 조사를 위한 조사 인원 선정을 100명(정책집단: 20명, 교육집단: 20명, 임상가 집단: 60명)으로 지정하였다. 1차 개방형 조사결과를 토대로 2차 설문문항을 작성하였으며, 2차 설문조사 결과를 토대로 3차 설문문항을 작성 후 조사하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 통계패키지 프로그램 SPSS Ver. 21.0를 활용하여 델파이 기법(Delphi Method)을 활용한 연구 결과에서 전문가 집단의 의견을 수렴하기 위해 빈도분석과 기술통계분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 현 교육체계의 문제점은 임상현장과의 차이와 실무능력저하, 국가시험위주의 교육이 문제점으로 대두되었으며, 현행 평가제도의 문제점은 임상현장을 충분히 반영하지 못한 점, 실무능력이 미 반영된 실기평가로 지적되었다. 결론: 결론적으로 치과기공사의 교육과정과 평가제도는 현실적인 내용을 고려하면서 임상 실무와의 연계성을 높이는 방향으로 개선되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

A Study of the Curriculum Design Modelling Focused on the Combination of National Competency Standards and the Already-Accredited Course in the Department of Social Welfare in the Junior College (과정이수형 자격제도 운영 학과의 NCS 기반 교육과정 설계모형 연구 - 전문대학 사회복지과를 중심으로)

  • National Competency Standards or NCS is an educational system that emphasizes developing job-related abilities. Therefore it will be an effective solution in training field-oriented work forces if properly applied. However, in the department of social welfare, it is not easy to apply NCS to the curriculum since most academic subjects concerning social welfare focus not on practice but on theory and in addition, most of social welfare departments in junior colleges have an accredited curriculum for the 2nd degree of the social worker qualification. This means it is preposterous if NCS is applied to the curriculum without prior changes in the existing qualification system. So, this paper proposes a draft model to apply NCS to the already-accredited curriculum for the 2nd degree social workers in the junior colleges and details are as follows. Firstly, the competency units will be customized for the existing academic subjects in the curriculum rather than developing new subjects in accordance with NCS competency units. Secondly, some client-related competency units including children, seniors, the disabled are newly developed and then applied to the curriculum, which are crucial for the career development at the junior college level. Thirdly, the competency units are categorized into three types in accordance with the degree of job relevancy - type 1, type 2, type 3. Fourthly, four out of 11 basic job abilities are selected and then developed into academic subjects. Fifthly, all competency units concerning the main job market are regarded as one virtual competency unit and then arranged in the order of type 1s, type 2s and type 3s and then the scope of their study is adjusted to the job abilities required at the main job market.

Comparison of Satisfaction on Each Major Dept. of Health-Related Universities Located in Busan and Gyeongnam (부산, 경남 지역 보건계열 대학(교)의 전공학과별 전공만족도 비교)

  • This study is to investigate the satisfaction rate and relative factors from the students majored in Radiology, Clinical Pathology and Physical Therapy, which can provide basic knowledge of satisfaction and guide the university life and further careers. The survey was performed with respect to 107 students of Radiology, 97 of Clinical Pathology and 89 of Physical Therapy at three-year or four-year colleges(universities) located in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. The results show that the satisfaction rate through whole majors was $3.40{\pm}0.57$ point. The scores of each major are: $3.38{\pm}0.62$ for Radiology, $3.37{\pm}0.56$ for Clinical Pathology, and $3.45{\pm}0.50$ for Physical Therapy. The score of social status was highest and the environment of major was the lowest. The satisfaction of three-year colleges was higher than that of four-year universities. Academic system, social status and adaptation to major affected satisfaction on major. In addition job outlook affected on all majors. Thus, we propose that every major must be equipped with specialized environment different from general colleges (universities), and provide environment where students can cause self-motivation. In addition, we found the special way to improve social status and satisfaction by using career guidance, offering career information and performing university-industry collaborations. Especially, it is important to improve the satisfaction on major of students at four-year universities.

  • 항공기의 플러터 현상을 예방키 위한 개발시의 주요 공학적 임무로는 플러 터 해석, 풍동 플러터 시험, 실기체에 대한 지상진동시험 및 비행 플러터 시 험이 있다. 이들 업무는 군용 항공기의 경우에는 군사 규격서, 민간 항공기 의 경우는 FAR 규정 등에 항공기 개발 및 개조시에는 필히 수행토록 명시 되어 있으며, 특히 개발항공기의 인증을 받기 위해서는 초도 비행전까지 필 수적으로 완료되어야 하는 업무이다. 이중 항공기 지상진동시험은 개발항공 기의 초도 비행전에 실기체를 대상으로 하는 구조 동특성 규명시험으로써 플러터 해석 모델의 정확도를 입증하고 그 해석모델을 수정하거나 개선시키 는데 필요한 구조의 동특성 변수들을 실험적으로 규명하는 시험이다. 이 시 험은 개발된 항공기의 초도비행허가를 획득하고 비행속도제한을 설정키 위 해서 초도비행 직전에 초도 개발 비행기를 대상으로 필수적으로 수행되어야 하는 필수적 시험이다. 이에 따라 개발된 항공기의 전기체 지상진동시험을 수행하였고, 시험데이터의 모달해석을 하였다. 이 시험을 수행하기 위해 3개 의 가진기를 사용하였고, 모두 159개의 지점에서 주파수응답 함수를 얻었다. 최대 48 채널의 데이터 획득시스템을 사용하였으므로, 네번에 걸쳐 측정위치 를 옮겨 전체데이타를 획득하였다. 지상진동 시험의 최종해석 결과는 유한요 소 모델의 유효성을 검토하는데 사용되었고, 시험 데이타를 이용한 가진응답 해석(Forced Response Analysis)을 통하여 비행플러터 시험시에 사용되는 플러터 가진기의 위치선정 및 가진력의 크기를 결정하는데 이용하였다.ncy)가 저주 파수대로 천이(Lower Shift)하는 현상이 나타났으며, 일정한 작업량이라도 작업중량을 줄이고 작업 빈도를 높여서 작업할 경우에 이러한 현상이 더욱 두드러졌다. 작업시간의 경과에 따른 MVIS의 감소 현상은 작업빈도가 높고 비대칭형 작업일 때 가장 크게 나타났다. 총손실을 줄이고, 상대적 비용절감효과를 갖게할 수 있다고 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 성인 여성기성복의 치수적합성을 높이기위하여 출산 후 중년에 접어 들면서 체형이 변화되는 것을 고려하여 연령을 분류하고(18세-34세, 30세-51세), 각 연령 집단에 따른 체형을 각각 3가지로 분류하였다. 이에 따라 의복 생산시의 총손실을 줄이기위한 상의, 하의생산시 필요한 부위별 최적규격치 간격을 제시하였다.적인 기능으로 보여지는 것에 좁혀서 작업능력의 연령증가 변화에 대하여다원적 평가를 하는 것이 실제적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인간이 가지고 있는 다수의 기능중에서 수지교 치성과 연령증가와의 관계를 조사한다. 만약 연령증가 만으로 수지교치성을 평가 할 수 없는 경우에는 어떠한 요인이 수지기민성의 변화에 영향을 미치는가를 검토한다.t list)에서 자동적으로 사건들의 순서가 결정되도록 확장하였으며, 설비 제어방식에 있어서도 FIFO, LIFO, 우선 순위 방식등을 선택할 수 있도록 확장하였다. A Study on the Education and Training system in Korean Animation Industry - Suggestions about Curriculum in a Department of Animation in Korean Universities from the Perspective of Arts and Cultural Management (한국 애니메이션 인력 양성 시스템에 대한 연구 - 대학 애니메이션 교육 과정에 대한 예술경영적 제언)

  • Perspectives on the basis of arts and cultural management, this study intends to suggest improvements in core curriculums that are required in order for South Korea, a country that has initiated into the animation industry through outsourcing from big-budget animation production countries such as America and Japan, to develop its own strong base in creative animation industry. The perspectives of arts management in this context means an integration nexus between human studies, social science and management, and suggestions are as follow: First, it is crucial to understand the current trend of animation industry structure across the globe, as well as to develop the ability of co-production. Animation industry often requires technical skills, capital strength and human resources, each having equal importance. Therefore, thorough analysis of the three components in worldwide animation industry must be preceded for animation production services. To do so, collaboration with major animation creation countries is the best option and is highly encouraged, so that the national animation curriculum shall be enhanced to meet such demands and hence develop various abilities. The second is a good understanding of new-media and new-platforms. Not only the traditional distributor of animation such as television and theater, the distribution system expands its scope to a variety of online sources including pod-casts and the Internet. Under these circumstances, a deep understanding towards animation distribution system and an analysis of the new consumer channel are also of paramount importance for animation production. Third, a possibility of animation supply chain through diversified routes and media have paved the way for a possible animation production services and distribution without a mega-budget. Thus, new curriculum shall need to reinforce marketing and management aspects that will in turn help individuals to establish a self-employed creative business. Last but not least, this study further includes illustration of current curriculum of animation studies in national universities, followed by detailed suggestions for the curriculum improvements based on the above mentioned three factors. It was observed that the current curriculums have been solely focused on practical works and technical skills of animation and art studies; a four-year-course colleges that provide animation courses usually lack components of human studies, social science and management. Thus, this study proposes essential contexts of management studies that are needed for individual business and also curriculum improvements that are derived from the analysis of the current industry and the new media.

  • The study started from the point that learners should be basically equipped to quickly respond to changes in demand for future human resources efficiently and effectively, and an attitude to take part in learning voluntarily should thus be cultivated. To this end, the author applied the TAI model based on a module as a class strategy to solve problems related to several classes occurred in specialized high schools. This application of the TAI model was also motivated by the necessity for designing an appropriate teaching-learning method that encourages improvement of self-learning capacity, consistent learning motivation, and willingness rather than external factors. Through this work, the author aims to heighten the interest of learners and improve endurance in learning. The study results are as follows. First, the learning unit was structuralized as a module and then learning stages were proceeded with so that capacity to adapt to learning would improve. The achievement standard (learning goal) was structuralized in a module type by analyzing and reorganizing the textbook considering the link between the actual practice field and a curriculum based on subject characteristics. Through the process of module type learning stages, the student's capacity to ascertain characteristics of units and to adapt to learning both improved. Second, through application of a TAI model based on a module, Self-Directed Learning capacity and capacity to adapt to a new field improved. By applying the module, Self-Directed Learning could be accomplished more effectively than in the existing passive learning environment. By grafting cooperative learning of the TAI model, students had greater interest and achievement in classes, self-confidence and community consciousness, and an opportunity to broaden their thinking. In particular, improvement of self-confidence is effective in cultivating the capacity required in industrial society to transcend the learning of simple functions and knowledge, as well as the capacity to adapt to new environments. Third, by solving tasks focused on fields related to industrial sites, not only actual survey capacity but also additional capacity to identify and solve tasks through various experiences improved. Furthermore, it was helpful for students to have interest and motivation about their own life and learning to cultivate the qualities and capacity to adapt to the working world where new knowledge and technology rapidly change. Fourth, by applying a standard-based assessment system for technical subjects introduced in 2012 to model design for learning plans, clearer and more objective assessment criteria were arranged, and individual learning through instruction at each achievement level could be accomplished. This improved achievement level of individual learners was helpful in reaching achievement goals at specific levels by overcoming the disadvantages of cooperative learning in each group.

Perceptions of the Security Management at Critical Facilities in South Korea: College students' attitudes toward increasing demand for security personnel and the alternatives to police (공공부문 정규직 전환 및 의무경찰제도 폐지에 따른 보안산업 변화에 대한 인식)

  • With the government policy on converting contract workers to full-time employees, there have been significant changes about the security personnel at the nation's critical facilities, including the National Assembly Building and airports. Moreover, the scheduled disbandment of the conscripted police force in 2023 has raised concerns about security management at different government agencies. To examine the college students' perceptions on the possible alternatives to fill the expected security gap, 234 undergraduate students of security management and protection in the Seoul metropolitan region were surveyed. Particularly, a comparative analysis was conducted on the legal bases and supervision, the employment types and salaries, and the scopes of responsibility and authority of suggested alternatives were compared. The results showed that utilization of private police forces was thought to be the most effective option. Based on the research findings, the university departments should develop and maintain a quality curriculum to educate their students to be prepared security professionals with a focus on emergency response capabilities and martial arts, including the courses on private police law and emergency rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
