  • 성대마이크는 디바이스의 특성상 환경 잡음을 최소화하는 장점이 있다. 그러나 고주파정보의 손실과 부분적인 포먼트 정보의 손실 때문에, 성대마이크를 이용한 명령어 인식기는 표준마이크를 이용한 명령어 인식기보다 낮은 성능을 보인다. 본 논문은 한국어 음운자질의 특성을 적용한 특징추출 알고리즘과 최적화된 인식모델을 이용하여 높은 성능을 갖는 명령어 인식시스템을 제안한다. 성대 울림 특성이 한국어 내의 분포 분석하여 성대 울림 정보만으로 명령어 인식기 개발이 가능함을 보이고 음성인식에 높은 성능을 보이는 Time Delay Neural Network(TDNN)[1]을 성대신호 명령어 인식에 최적화한 구조를 제안한다. 실험을 통해 찾은 최적 TDNN 구조를 성대신호에 적용한 했을 때 약 87%의 높은 성능을 보였다.

  • 목적: Phase cycling과 fat suppression을 기존 STEAM 펄스시퀀스에 추가 및 최적화함으로써 3.0T 1H MRS 스펙트럼의 quality를 향상시키는 데 그 목적이 있다. 대상 및 방법: 가톨릭의대에 설치된 3.0T MRI를 이용하여 STEAM 펄스시퀀스를 최적화하였다. 우선 CHESS 펄스시퀀스를 이용하여 물 신호를 억제하고, 대사물질의 신호에 영향을 주는 fat 신호를 제거하도록 펄스시퀀스 최적화를 시험하였다. 또한 Phase cycling을 이용하여 Noise 신호를 제거하였다. 스펙트럼을 분석하기 위하여 본 사에서 개발한 MaqSpec 프로그램을 이용하였고, Post-processing을 한 후 펄스시퀀스 변경 전후의 MRS 스펙트럼을 비교하였다.

Research on optimization of traffic flow control at intersections (교차로 교통 흐름 제어 최적화에 관한 연구)

  • At present, there are few studies on signal control of pedestrian traffic flow and non-motor traffic flow at intersections. Research on the optimization scheme of mixed traffic flow signal control can coordinate and control the overall traffic flow of pedestrians, non-motor vehicles and motor vehicles, which is of great significance to improve the congestion at intersections. For the traffic optimization of intersections, this paper starts from two aspects: channelization optimization and phase design, and reduces the number of conflict points at intersections from spatial and temporal right-of-way allocation respectively. Taking the classical signal timing method as the theoretical basis, and aiming at ensuring the safety and time benefit of traffic travelers, a channelization optimization and signal control scheme of the intersection is proposed. The channelization and phase design methods of intersections with motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians as objects are discussed, and measures to improve the channelization optimization of intersections are proposed. A multi-objective optimization model of intersection signal control was established, and the model was solved based on NSGA-II algorithm.

  • This paper proposes a parallel architecture of random signal-based learning (PRSL), merged with simulated annealing (SA), to optimize the fuzzy logic controller (FLC). Random signal-based learning (RSL) finds the local optima very well, whereas it can not finds the global optimum in a very complex search space because of its serial nature. To overcome these difficulties, PRSL, which consists of serial RSL as a population, is considered. Moreover, SA is added to RSL to help the exploration. The validity of the proposed algorithm is conformed by applying it to the optimization of a FLC for the inverted pendulum.

A Development of the Traffic Signal Progression Model for Tram and Vehicles (간선도로 트램 전용차로에서 트램과 일반차량을 위한 신호최적화 모형 개발)

  • A tram has been the focus of a new public transportation that can solve a traffic jam, decreasing of public transit usage and environmental problem in recent years. This study aims to develop a signal optimization model for considering the traffic signal progression of tram and vehicles, when they are operated simultaneously in the same signalized intersections. This research developed the KS-SIGNAL-Tram model to obtain a minimum tram bandwidth and to minimize a vehicle's delay to perform a tram passive signal priority, it is based on the KS-SIGNAL model and is added to the properties of a tram and it's system. We conducted a micro simulation test to evaluate the KS-SIGNAL-Tram model, it showed that the developed optimization model is effective to prevent a tram's stop on intersection, to reduce a tram's travel time and vehicle's delay.

  • In an urban network controlled by traffic signals, there is an interaction between the signal timing and the routes chosen by individual road users. This study develops a bi level programming model for traffic signal optimization in networks with path based traffic assignment. In the bi level programming model, genetic algorithm approach has been proposed to solve upper level problem for a signalized road network. Path based traffic assignment using column generation technique which is proposed by M.H. Xu, is applied at the lower-level. Genetic Algorithm provieds a feasible set of signal timings within specified lower and upper bounds signal timing variables and feeds into lower level problem. The performance of this model is investigated in numerical experiment in a sample network. In result, optimal signal settings and user equilibrium flows are made.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the questionnaire of oriental medicine and bio-signal data and to identify the correlation between symptoms of oriental medicine and bio-signal in order to develop the customization model for individual patients. First, this research analyzes the questionnaire data using the developed questionnaire for oriental medicine symptoms and selects the optimized questionnaires for identifying the symptoms. Using data mining technologies with the selected questionnaires, this research divides the normal group and the group with symptoms. Finally, this research identifies the correlation between the questionnaire for oriental medicine symptoms and electrogastrogram signal.

Crosstalk optimization in high speed VLSI systems (고속 집적회로 시스템 설계에서 혼선잡음 최적화에 관한 연구)

  • As VLSI systems become integrated at large-scale, logic fault or delay fault may result from crosstalk noise originated from cross coupling capacitance which exists between two adjacent wires. Because designers in industry do not have means to prevent crosstalk problems, they should check and adjust unsatisfactory designs after all designs are completed, if necessary. In this paper, we analyze how spacing, slew rate, line width, and line length influence the crosstalk, and suggest some solutions for the various factors that nay cause crosstalk problems. we also propose how to optimize the designs by using standardization of noise tables.

Comparative Study of Optimization Algorithms for Designing Optimal Aperiodic Optical Phased Arrays for Minimal Side-lobe Levels (비주기적 광위상배열에서 Side-lobe Level이 최소화된 구조 설계를 위한 최적화 알고리즘의 비교 연구)

  • We have investigated the optimal design of an aperiodic optical phased array (OPA) for use in light detection and ranging applications. Three optimization algorithms - particle-swarm optimization (PSO), a genetic algorithm (GA), and a pattern-search algorithm (PSA) - were employed to obtain the optimal arrangement of optical antennas comprising an OPA. The optimization was performed to obtain the minimal side-lobe level (SLL) of an aperiodic OPA at each steering angle, using the three optimization algorithms. It was found that PSO and GA exhibited similar results for the SLL of the optimized OPA, while the SLL obtained by PSA showed somewhat different features from those obtained by PSO and GA. For an OPA optimized at a steering angle <45°, the SLL value averaged over all steering angles increased as the angle of optimization decreased. However, when the angle of optimization was larger than 45°, low average SLL values of <13 dB were obtained for all three optimization algorithms. This implies that an OPA with high signal quality can be obtained when the arrangement of the optical antennas is optimized at a large steering angle.

English Digital Signal Processing Circuit in HD Monitor using Synchronization Signal Optimization (동기신호 최적화 기법을 통한 고품위급 모니터의 디지털 신호처리회로 구현)

  • Start The current paper proposes an improved HD(High Definition) monitor that can support a signal input with various resolutions. Due to the inadequate performance of the built-in digital PLL(Phase-locked Loop) of an ADC(Analog to Digital Converter) and poor tolerance of ADC ICs, there are problems in the stable processing of synchronization signals with various input signals. Accordingly, the proposed synchronization signal optimization technique regenerates the horizontal synchronization signal in the vertical blanking interval based on the regularity of the synchronization signal, i.e. the timing of the falling edge signal remains constant, thereby solving the above problem and minimizing the interference of the system. As a result, the proposed system can stabilize various synchronization signals with different resolution modes.
