Reliability and Validity of the Korean Version of Job Embeddedness for Measurement Tool of Dental Hygienist (치과위생사의 한국어판 직무착근도 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate a reliability and validity of the Korean version for measuring tool the job embeddedness of dental hygienists. The survey was modified and revised to fit into Korean culture. A survey was conducted with 274 dental hygienists in dental clinics. The data was used for the analysis of the study, using PASW Statistics 18.0 and IBM SPSS AMOS 7.0. The factor analysis showed that the job embeddedness of the dental hygienists was composed of three elements, namely 'organization fit', 'job connectivity', and 'personnel relationships'. The validity of the model examined by a confirmatory factor analysis satisfied most of the relevant requirements. All of the factors had the conceptual reliability and variant extracted index above the minimum requirements, ensuring reliability and concentrated validity. The Cronbach's alpha shows a good reliability. In conclusion, it was proven that dental hygienist's job embeddedness measurement tool has high validity and reliability. Further, this study could be used to improve dental hygienist's long term working, and the growth stage of dental clinic.

Verification of Reliability and Validity of Korean Version of Nurse's Job Crafting Scale (한국어판 간호사의 잡 크래프팅 측정도구의 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and investigate the validity and reliability of the Korean Version of Nurse's Job Crafting Scale. The Korean version of Job Crafting was translated and reverse-translated, and its content validity was verified by experts. Statistics were processed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs through self-report questionnaires for 151 nurses. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory actor analysis were performed to verify construct validity, and model fit, concentrated validity, and discriminant validity were confirmed through the analysis results.To verify the criterion validity, correlations with each domain were obtained using the calling scale. For reliability verification, the internal consistency reliability coefficient was calculated and confirmed. Reliability of all 20 job crafting tools was Cronbach's α = .93, with .91 for factor 1 (Increase in structural work resources, 5 questions) and .87 for factor 2 (Increase in structural work resources, 5 questions). The factor 3 (Increase in social work resources, 5 questions) was .83. The factor 4 (Increasing challenging business needs, 5 items) was .87, which was satisfactory for the reliability of internal consistency, and the Korean Version of Nurse's Job Crafting Scale was found to be an applicable tool. This study shows that the Korean Version of the Nurse's Job Crafting Scale is a valid and reliable instrument to assess nurses in Korea.

Development and Validation of the Scale of Care Competence for Adolescent (청소년 돌봄역량 측정도구의 개발 및 타당화)

  • The objective of this research is to conceptualize care competences for adolescents and to develop a valid measurement tool based on this conceptualization. The primary aim is to establish a solid foundation for effective communication in teaching care competences within the domain of home economics education. To achieve this, a comprehensive review of relevant literature and previous studies was conducted, and consultations with experts were undertaken to assess content and criterion-related validity. Furthermore, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were performed. The findings from these analyses resulted in a set of 34 items, which were categorized into five distinctive factors representing care competences in adolescents. These factors encompassed four items of care thinking, seven items of care emotion, six items of care behavior, seven items of self-care and ten items of community-care. Additionally, a reliability analysis was performed on the model, confirming the stability and consistency of the five factor structure and the 34 item scale, which assess care competences in adolescents.

초고속통신망하에서의 GIS를 이용한 대기측정시스템에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 초고속통신망하에서 GIS를 이용하여 상시 자동대기측정망으로부터의 대기정보에 대한 데이터베이스를 구축하고 1시간 간격으로 일반사용자가 특정지역의 대기상태 및 예경보 현황을 인터넷 서비스 받을 수 있는 시스템 개발을 연구 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 결과를 이용하면 일반사용자도 대기상황에 대한 정보를 쉽게 이해할 수 있고, 구축된 GIS 데이터베이스를 이용하여 지역별로 측정 및 예측된 오염상태를 활용한 총 대기오염의 현황을 산출할 수 있다. 또한 대기측정기 이상에 의한 자료입력 불능에 대비한 날씨, 시간, 요일 별 대기상황 예측이 가능할 것이며, 대기오염측정기의 최적설치장소 선정 및 관리에도 활용할 수 있을 기대된다. 그리고 지속적이고 신뢰성 있는 데이터베이스 구축을 통해 중장기 대기오염측정 및 저감대책을 수립하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Analysis of Carbonation for Harbor Concrete Structure (항만 콘크리트 구조물에 대한 탄산화 해석)

  • Carbonation is one of major factors influencing on the durability of concrete structure. This paper investigates the effect of carbonation on the soundness of harbor concrete structure and quantifies the influence of carbonation based on in-situation data tested at 369 points in 69 harbor facilities. The relationships between carbonation depth and cover depth, and between carbonation depth and compressive strength are studied and the failure probability of durability, that is the initiation probability of steel corrosion, is evaluated on the basis of reliability concept. The in-situation test results showed that the ratio of carbonation depth to cover depth was less than 0.2, and the carbonation depth increased with age. In most cases, the failure probability of durability by carbonation was less than 10%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the influence of carbonation on the durability of harbor concrete structure is smaller than other factors deteriorating the durability of harbor concrete structure.

  • Recently, it becomes important for container ports to gain competitiveness through service differentiation strategies. These strategies require an objective evaluation on consumer needs. For that reason, this study aims at developing the scale and measurement methods for service quality. Container shipping companies calling at Busan are targeted for the empirical analyses. The measurement items are presented for the services that they are provided from entry into a port to departure from a port. Exploratory factor analysis and validity analysis are done to derive a service quality scale from entry to departure. The result of regression analysis implies that the service quality scale is useful to increase customer satisfaction and to establish managerial strategies.

  • As Information Technology has developed, The structure of information system used in organizations is changing from centralized computing structure to distributed computing structure. The roles of information department have expanded, which is not only develope and maintain system but also provide usage-support service to end-user. If organization support end-user properly, they get many benefits. if they don't do it properly, they waste many resource. Therefore, the purpose of this study is the search for quality determinant factors and type of information that provide user effective service under web-based information system. The result of this study is as follow First, when SERVQUAL is used, the quality determinant factors of usage-support service are categorized three, which is responsibility and assurance, empathy and tangable, and reliability. When SERVPERF is used, the determinant factors consist of five, but the use of assurance as a factor is cautious. Second, reliability and tangability among determinant factors affect general service quality, and tangibility is most important factors. third, When the locations of user are distributed the degree of general service quality is not different whether formal or informal information center provide usage-support service. This study may suggest practical implication as follows; First, as user are good at to use information system the degree of importance for tangibility are decreased. when user are individualized and improve their ability to use information system, empathy will not be important factors any more, therfore it assume that reliability will be most important factors. Second, if organizations promote not only formal informaton center but also informal inforamtion center they may support end-user more effectively. However, this study has the following limitations: First, it is difficult to generalize the result of this study Second, service quality determinant factors used in this study don't explain the influence to general service quality fully. Third, this study analyze a simple relation between service quality determinant factor and general service quality. Finally, this study don't distinguish between information system service and information support service.

This paper categorizes intangible assets into customer relations asset, cooperative business partner asset, and service operations competence based asset and find relationship between these assets with management performance.

  • Recent with the progress of smart devices, there is an increasing demand for indoor location-based services. For this reason, research on indoor positioning system using a iBeacon techniques added to BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) specifications of Bluetooth4.0 has been actively. However, RSSI signal used for the measurement of the distance between the iBeacon and the receiving terminal has the problems of inaccurate distance measurement to environmental factors such as obstacles. In this paper, we propose an implemented indoor positioning technique to use filtering technology enhance the reliability of the RSSI signal and the broadcasting signal of the terminal access point function.

A Study on the Development of Satisfaction Index in the Medical Tourism of Foreign Tourist (외국인관광객의 의료관광 만족지표와 척도개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was a methodological research to develop an instrument to assess the medical tourism satisfaction of foreign tourist. A primary instrument with 63 questions was developed based on literature review. A group of experts revised individual questions and removed 9 irrelevant questions. This secondary instrument, then, was distriuted from Jury 1, 2012 to October 20, 2012. It was tested with 589 members of foreign tourist. After factor analysis on the final 42 questions, 7 factors were identified; quality of medical service, correspondance, tourism connection, sympathy, convenience, believability, and economical efficiency. The total variance explained was 60.9%. This instrument was statistically reliable and valid to measure medical tourism satisfaction of foreign tourist.
