Mood and Color Distribution of Music genres (음악 장르에 따른 분위기와 색상 분포)

  • 스트레스는 다양한 질병의 원인이 되며 스트레스의 해소는 질병 예방에 중요한 요인이라 할 수 있을 것이다. 스트레스를 해소시키는 방법 중 한 가지는 청각이나 시각을 이용하는 방법이다. 청각과 시각을 동시에 이용할 수 있다면 그 효과를 극대화 할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 논문에서는 음원의 분위기와 분위기 단어의 색상을 수집한 후 수집한 데이터를 이용하여 음악 장르에 따른 분위기 분포와 분위기 단어에 따른 색상을 이용하여 음악 장르에 따른 색상 분포가 다르다는 것을 확인하기 위해 Minitab을 이용하여 $x^2$-test를 실시하였다. 분석결과, P<0.001로 음악 장르에 따라 분위기 색상이 다르게 분포되며 분위기에 따라 색상 및 명도, 채도의 분포도 다르게 나타남을 확인하였다.

  • The emergence of the new technologies, which are represented by multimedia and the internet, brings the tremendous change in respect of process, record, delivery, and transmission of the knowledge and information. The new digital contents made by these technologies help to improve the acquisition efficiency of the knowledge and information by directly and simultaneously stimulating humans' different senses. This paper concentrates on how the accumulated computer technologies such as multimedia and the Internet can be used to make the effective digital contents. This paper suggests four development method for the digital contents and gives the implemented example for each development method.

  • 주행 중인 자율주행차의 탑승자는 차량의 거동을 예측할 수 없기 때문에 불안함을 느낄 수 있으므로 차량의 거동 정보를 사전에 탑승자에게 전달하여 심리적 안정을 제공하는 것은 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 완전 자율주행 상황을 가정하여 자율주행 시스템이 발생시키는 주행 의도를 탑승자에게 전달하는 하드웨어 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 자율주행차량이 사전에 생성된 경로를 따라 주행하면서 출발, 정지, 방향 전환 등과 같은 총 5 가지 상황에 대한 시각, 청각 및 촉각 알림을 통한 자율주행 의도 전달하는 것을 고려한다. 차량용 시트에 모터를 부착하여 촉각 알림을 통해 자율주행 의도를 전달 하였으며, 모니터를 통해 시각 및 청각 알림을 통해 자율주행 의도를 전달하였다. PC 에서 개발에 필요한 시뮬레이션 데이터를 처리하였으며, 시뮬레이션 환경에서 개발, 실험 및 평가가 진행되었다.

  • With the help of information technology The problem of building a concrete form with a shapeless media is the starting point of presenting information by means of sound. Audio-Visual System using sound as a medium is a method that presents an auditory material visually and has a role of linking different sensory organs. In a sense, Audio-Visual System transfers a non-concrete sensation to a concrete one. Audio-Visual System presentation by late methods using active and non-active images produced by computerized irregular procedures can be limited because of the limited ways of visual output. On the other side, visualization using active images can induce more diverse expressions using sound as a medium. This study suggests a new way of expression in animations using visualization of various auditory materials and sounds built by Audio-Visual System with active images.

A Study on the Relationship Between Apparent Auditory Room Size and Acoustic Preference (공간의 청각적 규모감과 음향적 선호도간의 관계)

  • Human tend to rely their information about the size of a space on vision. However, it might be a common experience to perceive a certain difference in spaces without any visual difference, in such spaces as rooms for music performance, multimedia environments with multiple sound sources, and car cabins, where auditory experiences have a certain importance. In the present work, apparent auditory room size was measured at different positions in a room through a series of listening experiments. Also, measurement of room acoustic parameters was carried out and their relationships with perceived auditory room size were analyzed. The results suggest that apparent auditory room sizes were largely dependent on musical clarity, distance between a source and a receiver, and sound pressure level at the listening position. Also, the results from acoustic preference test suggest that smaller apparent room sizes were preferred for listening to orchestral, cello and flute music. The relationship between apparent auditory room size and vocal music was found to be statistically insignificant.

  • Children, who have a language disorder, have difficulty in expressing their reaction about stimulus of sound and vision. So it is very hard to grasp that they recognize external stimulus or not. For solving these problem, we can check response time and make them to choose stimulus by giving stimulus of sound and vision to them through Audio and Visual Stimulus and Reaction Meter System. Additionally, We can help them by improving response time by repeated study based on the results and making them to recognize and choose stimulus faster without aversion about external stimulus. It would make them not to feel uncomfortable and isolated because they are unfamiliar with external stimulus.

  • 콘텐츠·미디어 기술은 기존의 평면 중심의 서비스에서 가상 증강현실, 홀로그램, 라이트필드 등의 입체·공간 서비스 적용이 점차 확대되고 있으며, 정보를 직관적으로 인지하는 시각과 청각 중심에서 디지털 기술의 발전에 힘입어 촉각, 후각 등 오감의 영역으로도 확장이 진행되고 있다. 코로나 19 장기화로 비대면이 필요해진 산업과 일상생활에 3차원 공간을 활용한 메타버스의 구현으로 국민 누구나 용이하게 새로운 콘텐츠·미디어 서비스를 활용할 수 있는 기술을 확보하는 것이 매우 중요해졌다. 본 고에서는 우리 정부의 콘텐츠·미디어 분야 주요 정책 현황과 R&D 투자동향에 대해 짚어보고, 2022년도 콘텐츠·미디어분야 R&D 과제기획 현황을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 본 프로젝트는 시각장애인의 도심이동 지원 및 횡단보도에서의 안전한 보행을 위해 고안되었다. 시각장애인용 글래스를 제작하여 Custom train 한 YOLOv5 와 Lidar 센서를 통해 횡단보도 내에 객체를 감지하면 위험 음성을 송출하고 안전하게 길을 건널 수 있도록 청각적으로 지도하였다. 또한 보호자용 앱을 구현하여 보호자의 불안감을 해소하고 안정감을 주고자 하였다.

  • This study evaluated the actual status of special needs of the hearing-impaired person for disaster response. The analysis revealed a significant level of unmet needs in disaster response for hearing-impaired person. The 5 special needs in disaster response include: 1) communication needs, which involve securing the means to make an emergency rescue request and communicating information during the rescue process; 2) transportation needs, which indicate the effective evacuation capacity and the level of training; 3) medical needs, which address the degree of preparedness for physical and mental emergency measures and the delivery of health information for rescue and first aid process; 4) maintaining functional independence needs, which refer to the level of self-preparedness to minimize damage in disaster situations, and; 5) supervision needs, which correspond to a personalized support system provided to disaster-vulnerable groups.

Consistency of Responses to Affective Stimuli Across Individuals using Intersubject Representational Similarity Analysis based on Behavioral and Physiological Data (참가자 간 표상 유사성 분석을 이용한 정서 자극 반응 일치성 비교: 행동 및 생리 데이터를 기반으로)

  • This study used intersubject representational similarity analysis (IS-RSA) to identify participant-response consistency patterns in previously published data. Additionally, analysis of variance (ANOVA) was utilized to detect any variations in the conditions of each experiment. In each experiment, a combination of ASMR stimulation, visual and auditory stimuli, and time-series emotional video stimulation was employed, and emotional ratings and physiological measurements were collected in accordance with the respective experimental conditions. Every pair of participants' measurements for each stimulus in each experiment was correlated using Pearson correlation coefficient as part of the IS-RSA. The results of study revealed a consistent response pattern among participants exposed to ASMR, visual, and auditory stimuli, in contrast to those exposed to time-series emotional video stimulation. Notably, the ASMR experiment demonstrated a high level of response consistency among participants in positive conditions. Furthermore, both auditory and visual experiments exhibited remarkable consistency in participants' responses, especially when subjected to high arousal levels and visual stimulation. The findings of this study confirm that IS-RSA serves as a valuable tool for summarizing and presenting multidimensional data information. Within the scope of this study, IS-RSA emerged as a reliable method for analyzing multidimensional data, effectively capturing and presenting comprehensive information pertaining to the participants.
