Study on Structural Analysis due to Configuration of Seat Back Frame (시트 백 프레임의 형상에 따른 구조 해석에 관한 연구)

  • The Automotive seat is the component related at passenger feeling and safety. It absorbs the impact or vibration and supplies the comfortableness. It must also have sufficient rigidity and strength to satisfy these given conditions. Two kinds of seat models are designed and studied by structural analysis. Seat back frame (b) has lower deformation and fatigue life than (a). Most deformation and damage possibility is shown at the waist, that is the middle of model. On the vibration analysis at which natural frequency is applied, model (a) has the deformation from outside to inside of model, but model (b) has the deformation from inside to outside of model. Model (b) is safer than model (a) structurally at most cases.

Study on the Evacuation Time Analysis by Platform Screen Door Opening Rate (스크린도어(PSD)의 개폐율에 따른 피난소요시간 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The PSD (Platform Screen Door System) has been installed to enhance the passengers' safety. A total of 592 stations operate the PSD system, which is almost 71.8% of all stations in South Korea. This study compared the opening rate between the PSD and train door, and calculated the exact amount of passengers at peak time. In addition, the evacuation time was simulated by Pathfinder 2015 with the exact input data. Some of the high density stations have extremely high dangerous points about the passengers' evacuation at some situations by the PSD door opening rate. In particular, due to the interference of a fixed door, when it stops at 7 m less than the regular position, its opening rate becomes less than half of the normal state. To solve this problem, it should be made possible to open the fixed door by changing it to an emergency door or improving the PSD module system.

  • Seat is the part relevant to comfortableness and safety among automotive parts directly. It also should have sufficient stiffness and strength to satisfy these conditions and ensure the safety of passenger. Automotive seat is modelled with 3D and is simulated with structural analyses about three kinds of experiments by before and after gap, side gap, before and after moment strength. As analysis result, deformation angles of $0.038^{\circ}$ and $0.04^{\circ}$ are respectively shown at before and after gap test, side gap test. Through before and after the moment strength test, maximum total deformations of 0.18946mm and 3.2482mm are respectively shown at front and rear loads. By the study result of no excessive deformation and no fracture at automotive seat frame, the sufficient rigidity and strength to guarantee the safety of passenger can be verified.

  • In this study, tailor-welded blanks(TWB) were formed between high-strength steel(SABC1470) and cold rolled steels(SPFH590 and SPFC980) to improve passenger safety and reduce the weight of cars. Multi-material TWB specimens were highly strengthened through the heat treatment of SABC1470. The change in tensile strength caused by the stand-by time until water cooling after stamping and the deformation behavior of high-speed bending in a statically indeterminate condition such as in the center-pillar were evaluated. Multi-material TWB specimens that were heat-treated at the same temperature tended to show a decrease in tensile and yield strength, depending on the stand-by time until water cooling. On the other hand, Multi-material TWB specimens(SABC1470+SPFH590) that were heat treated at $850^{\circ}C$ showed good properties that were suitable for ensuring passenger safety in car accidents. From the viewpoint of passenger safety, it is best to use SABC1470 and SPFH590 in the upper and lower area of the center-pillar, respectively.

  • 한국형 고속철도시스템은 최고운행속도 350km/h로 주행하는 고속열차(시제열차 7량 편성)의 개발에 성공하여 현재 시운전 시험을 통해 신뢰성과 안정성을 검증하고 있다. 국내 기술로 새롭게 개발된 한국형 고속철도 시스템은 고속운행에 따른 엄격한 안전요구사항을 만족해야 하며, 특히 고속-대량의 수송수단으로서 승객의 안전을 최우선으로 하기 때문에 다른 어떠한 시스템보다 엄격한 안전확인 및 성능검증을 위한 철저한 시험평가 과정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 한국형 고속철도 시스템 개발에 적용한 안전설계 요건의 분석내용을 제시하고, 고속철도 차량시스템의 안전성능 요건을 입증하기 위한 성능시험 체계로서 구성품 시험, 완성차시험(단차 및 편성 시험) 및 시운전 시험으로 구분한 한국형 고속철도 차량시스템에 대한 성능시험기준안을 소개하고자 한다.

  • If a disaster occurs in the underground like subway, disaster response system should minimize the casualties. It must quickly guide passengers to a safe evacuation route. But sometimes the system does not work properly. And then they need distributed disaster response system which make decision autonomously. We perform conceptual research about distributed autonomous decision-making disaster detection and response system and disaster detection method.

  • Universal Design involves designing products and spaces so that they can be used by the widest range of people possible. Universal Design evolved from Accessible Design, a design process that addresses the needs of people with disabilities. This paper introduces the universal design concept through analysis of causes of railway accident within the urban railway station. Railway accident analysis was performed by the internal facilities. We analyzed the standard of accident type, accident cause and accident subject such as elevator, escalator, stairs etc.

  • Oblique car to car frontal impact is quite common on the road and series of studies have been done to realize this in the lab. At a certain angle of oblique crash a car (ego) is to travel at a speed of xkm/h to hit the other car(traffic) which is approaching to ego at a speed of ykm/h. Symmetry of the speed of two vehicles, x vs. y, is studied with respect to the impulse of the ego vehicle as well as occupant injury. If there is symmetry of speed of two vehicles, number of case studies needed to analyze the oblique frontal impact may decrease: ex. in the case of 30degree oblique crash 40km/h (ego) / 80km/h (traffic) will show the similar behavior as 80km/h (ego) / 40km/h (traffic) crash.

  • In this paper, we utilize a service provided by the existing bus information system. To improve the limitations of the bus information system the information provided to the passenger using the bus. By applying the IoT sensor network system. congestion information of the bus provided to customer. Provides information in addition to the existing bus congestion information to passengers wishing to use public transport from the smartphone app with an existing information system. The bus congestion information in addition to the existing information to passengers who want to use public transport provided in the existing information system and smartphone apps. Prevent accidents that might occur due to congestion in the bus, efficient and convenient way to propose an improved bus information system for public transport. Developed a prototype system using the IOT sensor network verified the proposed method.
