Characteristics of Aggressive Victims of Dating Violence and their Commitments in Dating Relationships (데이트 폭력의 공격적 피해여성들의 특성과 연인관계에 대한 개입)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristics of victims, especially aggressive victims of dating violence, and examine how they constructed the dating relationship and their commitments in dating relationships. The participants were 526 female college students who had the experience of heterosexual dating relationships, whose ages ranged from 18 to 37 (M=20.10, SD=2.70). The psychological tests used in this research included the following: Straus' Conflict Tactics Scale, Foo and Margolin's Justification of Violence Scale, Korean Version of Gender-Role Scale, and Lee and Han's Relationship Measures. Results revealed that aggressive victims of dating violence were more likely to receive mild violence as well as severe violence from their dating partners than victims only, while women who were victim only experienced sexual harassments more than aggressive victims from their dating partners. Aggressive victims of dating violence had experienced fathers' domestic violence more than women who had not experienced dating violence. Victims of dating violence showed less negative attitude toward dating violence than women who had not experienced dating violence. Victims of dating violence showed stronger commitments in their dating relationships than women who had not experienced dating violence. The results of this study may provide valuable information for professionals who help victims of dating violence.

Isolation of Alkaloids with Immune Stimulating Activity from Oryza sativa cv. Heugnambyeo (흑남벼 함유 Alkaloid 분리 및 면역효능 연구)

  • We describe the immune stimulatory effects of compounds determined by means of activity-monitored extraction and isolation techniques. As a result, 4-carboethoxy-6-methoxy-2-quinolone (1) and 4-carboethoxy-6-hydroxy-2-quinolone (2) were isolated from the ethyl acetate-soluble fraction of the Oryza sativa cv. Heugnambyeo bran, and were determined to exert significant inhibitory effects in macrophage cell line (murine RAW 264.7) and murine splenocytes. The structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic evidence, particularly the results obtained via hetero nuclear multiple-bond connectivity and high-resolution MS spectroscopy. Up to date, compound (1) was isolated as natural sources for the first time.

A Report of an Unrecorded Slime Mold Isolated from a Twig of Chaenomeles sinesis in Korea (모과나무 잔가지에서 분리한 국내 미기록 점균류 Chaenomeles sinesis 보고)

  • Chaenomeles sinensis, called as Chinese quince, belongs to the family Rosaceae and is widely distributed in Korea, China, and Japan. A microorganism was isolated from part of a twig of C. sinensis that showed an abnormal appearance. The microorganism was identified as the slime mold Stemonaria longa of the division Myxomycota, which was previously unrecorded in Korea. The present study reports the morphological characteristics of the isolated fungus and a phylogenetic relationship based on the ${\beta}$-tubulin gene sequences.

Synthesis of Pt-$MoO_3$ Electrode by Electrodeposition Method for Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (전기화학적 증착법에 의한 직접 메탄올 연료전지(DMFC)용 백금-삼산화몰리브테늄 전극제조)

  • Pt-$MoO_3$ electrodes were fabricated on ITO-coated glass by electrodeposition method using 20 mM hydrogen hexachloroplatinate ($H_2PtCl_6$) and 10 mM Mo-peroxo electrolyte. Deposition order was varied, and catalytic activities of synthesized electrodes were compared with that of pure Pt electrode. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was utilized to examine surface morphology. The crystallinity of synthesized films was analyzed by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and the oxidation state of both the platinum and molybdenum were determined by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) analyses. The catalytic activity and stability for methanol oxidation were measured using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA) in a mixture of 0.5 M $H_2SO_4$ and 0.5 M $CH_3OH$ aqueous solution. $MoO_3$ electrodeposited on the surface of Pt showed much higher catalytic acitivity and stability than pure Pt electrode due to the good contact between Pt and $MoO_3$.

  • The aim of this study is to demonstrate the make-up culture of women by disclosing attitudes of make-up as to whether there will be differences or not according to personal weight interests & self-image. The study was performed with 218 consecutive women between the ages of 30 and 50 over 2 months from April 10th, 2012 till May 30th, 2012. The results were as follows. First, regarding make-up attitudes according to concerns of weight interests and self-image, there is no difference of make-up attitude by sophisticated image and pure image in case of weight concern. But there is a significant difference of make-up attitudes by concerns of weight interests in activities image. Second, highly populated group of sophisticated image, pure image, and active image has more activities of make-up attitudes. The higher concerns of appearance and the higher self-image, there was more positive attitude of make-up. Third, highly populated group of pure image and active image has more positive attitude of make-up in case of higher physical attractiveness.

  • 지명(地名)은 그 지역의 역사와 전설, 문화, 풍속은 물론 독특한 자연환경이나 생활 모습을 담고 있어 농업농촌의 지역적 특성을 나타낸다. 본 연구는 지명유래의 활용성 증진의 한 방편으로 브랜드 및 문화관광상품 개발을 위해 서천군의 자연마을 지명유래, 이미지, 관광자원 등을 조사하였다. 서천군의 자연마을 유래 516건에 대한 자료는 국토지리정보원, 문화원자료집, 서천군홈페이지에서, 산, 강, 골, 고적, 못 등 그 외 지명자료는 한글학회 지명총람에서 2,000건을 수집하였다. 자연마을지명의 유래 516건을 8개 유형으로 구분하면 자연지리 122건, 인문지리 114건, 생태환경 51건, 산업경제 25건, 역사 34건, 유적유물 28건, 민속 37건, 종교 19건이며, 지형(80건), 생물(33건), 고사(19건)관련 유래가 많았다. 서천군 지역브랜드 개발을 위한 요구도 조사는 지역민 154명과 방문객 152명 총 306명을 조사하여 SPSS WIN 12.0 프로그램을 이용 분석하였다. 응답자의 일반적 특성은 여성이 55.6%, 대졸자 54.2%, 연령은 40대(29.1%), 1500만원-3000만원 미만의 연소득자 32.0%가 가장 많았다. 서천군의 형용사적 이미지를 기술통계량으로 살펴보면 지역민은 평화로운, 정감있는, 순수한, 전통적인, 믿을수 있는 순으로, 방문객은 순수한, 평화로운, 정감있는, 따뜻한, 친절한 순으로 평균간이 높게 나타났고, 요인분석에 의한 지역민과 방문객의 인지적 형용사 도출결과는 정열적, 평화적, 보수적인 3가지 요인이다. 또한 서천군의 대표적 상징자원은 지역민의 경우 춘장대해수욕장(32.5%), 희리산 자연휴양림(16.9%), 금강하구둑 철새도래지(16.9%)순이며, 방문객은 춘장대해수욕장(43.4%), 희리산 자연휴양림(23.0%), 한산모시축제(23.0%)순으로 높게 나타났고, 지명 호감도는 지역민의 경우 꽃뫼(29.2%), 솔리(20.8%). 소야(17.5%)순이며, 방문객은 꽃뫼(30.9%), 솔리 (19.7%), 무닛골(16.4%)순으로 높았다. 향후 본 연구에서 제시된 연구를 통하여 서천군의 지명을 활용한 브랜드개성을 측정할 수 있어 마케팅 관점에서 서천군의 브랜드를 도출하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Ornamented Dagger Sheath from Gyerim-ro Tomb No.14, Gyeongju: On the Joining Process of Gold Granules (경주 계림로 14호분 장식보검 금립의 접합방법에 관한 고찰)

  • In most gold objects crafted using the granulation technique that have been thus far discovered in the Korean Peninsula, granules were joined using a soldering alloy of gold and silver. However, it was recently revealed through SEM-EDS analysis performed on the ornamented dagger sheath from Gyerim-ro Tomb No.14 in Gyeongju that the gold granules were joined to the surface of this sheath using an entirely different technique. The gold granules on the Gyerim-ro dagger sheath are evenly sized and shaped, the surface has a dendritic texture. Dendritic textures are a characteristic feature of metal alloys, not observed in pure metals. As a matter of fact, the gold granules were made of a ternary alloy of 77wt% Au, 18wt% Ag and 4wt% Cu. Due to this component, the alloy has a melting point below 1000℃ (approximately 980℃), which is significantly lower than 1064℃, the melting temperature of pure gold. This makes it possible to join the gold granules directly to the surface of the sheath by briefly heating them to high temperature, without the use of soldering or any other media. When examined through SEM image, the surface of the sheath showed no traces of soldering, it suggests that the granules were joined through unaided fusion.

Estimation of Longitudinal Dynamic Stability Derivatives for a Tailless Aircraft Using Dynamic Mesh Method (Dynamic Mesh 기법을 활용한 무미익 비행체 종축 동안정 미계수 예측)

  • For stealth performance consideration, many UAV designs are adopting tailless lambda-shaped configurations which are likely to have unsteady dynamic characteristics. In order to control such UAVs through automatic flight control system, more accurate estimation of dynamic stability derivatives becomes essential. In this paper, dynamic stability derivatives of a tailless lambda-shaped UAV are estimated through numerically simulated forced oscillation method incorporating dynamic mesh technique. First, the methodology is validated by benchmarking the CFD results against previously published experimental results of the Standard Dynamics Model(SDM). The dependency of initial angle of attack, oscillation frequency and oscillation magnitude on the dynamic stability derivatives of a tailless UAV configuration is then studied. The results show reasonable agreements with experimental reference data and prove the validity and efficiency of the concept of using CFD to estimate the dynamic derivatives.

  • 부존자원이 부족하여 해외에너지 의존도가 97% 이상을 상회하고, 유가의 불안정, 지구 온난화에 대한 범세계적인 규제 등 우리나라의 현실을 감안하면 재생에너지의 적극적인 개발을 통해 부존자원의 활용도를 극대화할 수 있는 방안을 적극 강구해야 할 것이다. 소수력자원은 순수 부존자원이며, 무공해 청정에너지로서 잠재량의 약 3.0% 정도 밖에 개발되지 않은 개발가능성이 큰 에너지원으로써, 소수력자원면에서 유럽의 여러 나라에 뒤지지 않는 우리 나라에서는 일반하천 개발의 경우 댐 건설에 따른 환경피해를 염려한 환경단체와 지역주민의 인식 부족 등으로 활성화되지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소수력개발에 관한 민원 등의 사유가 없고, 미활용되는 소수력자원을 가지고 있는 농업용 저수지, 농업용 보, 하수처리장 및 정수장 등의 물 관련 설비를 이용한 소수력발전의 초기설계 및 성능특성 분석에 관하여 논의하였다. 농업용 저수지는 경상북도 경주시 덕동리에 위치한 덕동저수지를 대상으로 하였으며, 그림 1과 그림 2는 덕동저수지의 유량지속곡선과 성능특성 분석결과를 보여준다.

  • To clarify the taxonomy and the distribution on subclass Aspidochirotacea and Apodacea, the authors examined the materials which were collected from 48 localities during the period from 1962 to 1995 . As a result, the specimens of holothurians are classified into 3 orders, 5 families and 8 specie. Among them , the following 4 species are found to be new to the Korean fauna : Molpaida oolitica, Paracaudina chilensis, Acaudina molpadioides and Caudina similis.
